This is the story of the 12 dancing bears trying to find their fated mates. They work at Bear Buns showing off their mate marks to hundreds of ladies a night while stripping.



In this first book we meet Owen and Ryan the grizzly bear dancers. Before the show even starts they meet Helen and sparks fly.



I wanted to love this book. The storyline is original and a fresh take on shifters being accepted by humans. The execution fell flat for me.



The overuse of words like shizz and frickin and heck by every character made it hard for me to differentiate between characters. It seemed as though each and every character had the same personality, nothing original about them.



I would love to see this series get an overhaul and reboot. I did read three others in this series and it's basically the same characters saying and doing the same things.

Hot! Stimulating! Awesome! Grizzly Bear Buns is a GREAT book!!!! Sable Sylvan has written another fantastic book. This story contains shifters, male strippers, menages, romance, sex, and humor.
I sat down to read this book and could not stop until I finished it. I absolutely loved it!!! Bring on the rest of this series!!!! I can't wait to read each and every one of them!

What could be better than 2 yummy grizzly shifters? 2 sizzling hot grizzly stripper shifters!

Helen has just been dumped by her obnoxious boyfriend, so her 2 BFF decide to take her out for a girls njight to lift her spirits and what could be better to accomplish that. Why a male stripper club and they have just the perfect one in mind. Helen never in her wildest dreams imagined she would be hauled up on stage by 2 of the yummiest strippers, but she takes it all in stride and blends in even more than she ever imagined she would.

Owen and Ryan are a pair of grizzly shifter strippers that do everything together, they dance, strip and even have the same mate tattoos which means they will share a mate. They always have a full house for their shows, but tonight will be special because they have seen their fated mate. She just has to be on board with them, but they will have to show her that she is their Helen of Troy.

Get out the water those cause this one is hot!

This is a great hot storyline. But what I want you to understand is I love reading is paranormal romance and especially if the shifters are Bears (Oh My)! Really can't you just picture yourself with a male that has wide shoulders, a 8 pack not a 6 rip abdomen, his package is something all of us dream about and to booth he's a Alpha male, gentleman, protective and everything you ever wanted in a man, WOW! Then make it times two Oooh, I know I would be in heaven. This is the type of hero Sable gives us, I have to say DYNAMITE! Now after all this, I don't have to change the heroine in my imagination because Sable Sylvan writes about women like me, OMG! I'm so happy I to read that the woman is a BBCW (Beautiful Big Curvy Woman) I don't have a hard time putting myself in her place. So if you are like me you will never be disappointed in reading a book written by Sable Sylvan.
I always enjoyed the interaction between the main characters Ryan, Owen and Helen. There is so much excitement in reading how their attraction developed into love. The storyline is about two Bear shifters that works as strippers in a exclusive club, but they are actually looking for their Fated Mate and stripping is more of a side job with benefits. Helen is a BBW whose ex cheated on her and told her she wasn't attractive. Helen isn't sure she is ready for love and with two hot guys. Can she be their true fated mate, part of a triad, will she take a chance.

This is a hot story that develops fast, but it's a awesome read. Also if you have ever watched Magic Mike XXL or the first one Magic Mike and you like these movies then you should read Sable Sylvan books. When you do and if you are like me you will wish Hollywood would contact Sable and make her books into a movie. Boy Oh Boy I would be the first inline at the Theater and I would just have to see it at lease twice. If you are like I am and enjoy paranormal romance, you will love this book and all the ones after it just imagine if you could get two hot men that are shifters and bears on top of that for the price of one. Plus they can take names and kick the living daylights out of who ever gets the idea to look at or put a hand on their mate. I want you to know that I am a ride or die fan of Sable Sylvan and I can’t wait to read the next book in this captivating series. If you are like me and love reading shifter romance, than this is definitely a book you want to add to your library and TBR List. Ms. Sable has done again with her Fairytales. Grizzly Bear Buns is Book 1 of The Twelve Dancing Bears, which she will write a total of Six books of Pairs who want to find there fated mates, talk about Menages with Happy Endings !!! Cinderella  Cinderella no fairy godmother just two lovely besty's.
     Helen is just devastated that she didn't know all this time that her boyfriend from  College that dropped her, well technically she was going to drop him, he just beat her to it. Needless to say Helen just found out he's been cheating on her since day one with many women, plus he mentally abused her too calling her fat and ugly, her soon-to-be MIL was worse than Joseph with all the name calling. Her two besty's from Reed College wanted to cheer her up and Jasmine loved spending money so a limousine took them to Seattle. The girls were taking her to Bear Buns Strip Club. This strip club was for shifters so they will get down and dirty.
     Ryan and Owen are hard body Bear Shifters that have a dance act, plus stripping while trying to find there mate. Yes, One Mate for Two of them. Yummmmmm those hard bodies can lap dance on me. It's a tuff job for them having to go through hundreds maybe thousands of women's laps to find there fated mate. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. Grizzly Bear Buns by Sable Sylvan

Jasmine and Alicia are taking Helen out. Helen just broke up with her boy friend and it's a girls night out. They are headed to Bear Bums. It is one of the top clubs, a strip club for shifters. Helen has never been to one before. Ryan and Owen spot Helen right a way. They both are looking for their fate mate, just one woman for both hunky shifters. It has an interesting fate mark in this story. This is another book that is so hard to put down. It has some very steamy sex scene and a lot of humor that holds your interest till the end and what a great ending. I recommend this book, it is another great story by the author Sable Sylvan. I voluntarily reviewed a ARC of this book.

Helen is taken for a girls night out by her two best friends to see a show and celebrate her newly single status. It's not just any show, but the HOT Bear Buns show! Ryan and Owen are dancing partners and can't take their eyes off Helen when they spot her from across the room.

This was a fun HOT read! They guys are convinced, but Helen isn't ready thanks to her ex. They are willing to work for her trust and heart. They sure make one hot trio!! Can't wait to see how the other bears makes out.

I have read several of Sable Sylvan’s books and each time I am truly amazed. She is so creative in her writing. I always love how she adds the mate mark effect. I sort of look at it as Sable’s personal signature on her books.

Helen had no ideal what fate had in store for her when she went with her friends to the strip club called Bear Buns. This was suppose to be a time out to celebrate her no longer with scumbag Joe and to cheer her up as well.

Ryan and Owen were these two hot sexy Grizzly bear shifters. The whole point of them doing the show was to find their fated mate. In this story shifters have what is called a mate mark. This mate mark is to help give them a hint to who their fated mate is. I am not going to tell you what the mate mark is on these two sexy hunks because I think part of the fun of reading the story is when the mate mark is revealed.

I could not help but let my imagine run wild as reading the scene of these two on stage. WOW!! what can I say it was truly hot and then Helen gets the opportunity to go on stage with them. Lucky Helen.

I can not imagine what is was like for Helen for two sexy hot shifters to tell her that they felt she might be their fated mate. Here she was trying to figure out which one she like the best. She had a connection to both and now here she was finding out that these two will be sharing a mate. Hello!! every woman’s dream.

I love how protective these two were for her. They truly wanted to not only protect her but to meet her needs as well. Oh, and I have to say they done just that.

This was an amazing story and so happy I took out time to read it.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. The first in the series of 12 Dancing Bears starts out with newly single Helen on a girls night out with 2 of her girlfriends celebrating getting away from her ridiculous ex. As a surprise, they take her to a strip club that is run by shifters and has the headlining act back at their home base to put on a show. While Helen definitely likes what she’s seeing, old insecurities about her ex stop her from acting on what she really wants to do. Lucky for her, meddling girlfriends give her a push. I liked the story even though there were some elements that I found a bit hokey from too much description or things happening too fast which made parts of the story feel rushed at times. I read a lot of PNR so stories where humans already know that there are “others” besides themselves are either good or bad depending on the storyline. I liked that there were some elements to these stories that I hadn’t come across in previous PNR stories. My favorite part of this story is when she goes to her ex’s to get her things. As a BBW woman who’s been in that situation before, that scene was pure gold!

I think this was just a bit too cheesy for me. Something interesting about this book is that there is a sex scene yet it seems like the author went out of her way to not have cursing in the book. By went out of her way I mean she made the characters seem juvenile. It would be one thing for Owen and Ryan to say "shizz" instead of sh*t as a personality trait, but when the friend also said it, it was noticeable. It was also noticeable when one of the Heroes said "you're our mate darn it." Darn it. Really? Is he going to stomp his foot too?

The showdown with the heroine's ex was so boring. I also didn't like how the Heroes insulted the ex's new girlfriend for being skinny. Let's not praise plus size heroines by devaluing skinny women.

The cheesy factor was too much for me when, during the sex scene, the phrase "stirring her honeypot" was used. Also let's avoid calling menages "making a sandwich."

Maybe I would have different feelings about this book had I known it would be cheesy going in. I already have the koala bears story (it was free at the time) so I might read that, but I doubt I'll continue this series. It's an interesting premise with lackluster execution.

A new way to find you mate OVER 18+ READING

Ryan and Owen are a pair of grizzly bear dancers at the Bear Buns club where their are 12 bear dancers, right now there are six different bear pairs. It is a system to find their true mates. Helen has spent to many years with her cheating boyfriend and has finally dumped him so her friends have decided to take her on a girls night out to a club,which Helen doesn't know is a male bear shifter strip club. They are the first dancers out and spot her right away. Now they know how to get her to talk to them, but can they convince her to more. Can they make her understand she is their gates mate? Can they get her to except not one but both of them? Can she except the past is over,Ryan and Owen are not her old boyfriend and only want to love her?

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

The cover is awesome! This is the first book in the series. This is for adults only due to the steamy content. This series is part of the same shifter world that Sable has built with her other series based in Seattle area.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being the first book in this series, but it was fun and very enjoyable. Helen was great, but the real stars were Owen and Ryan. It was a quick but very entertaining read.

I recommend this book to bear shifter lovers everywhere especially if you already love Sable’s shifter world!

I kinda liked the fantasy of stripper bear-shifters. It was fun, unique & sexy; albeit their green sequined shorts & teddy bear costumes were a tad bit corny.

I only wish it was longer, so the month of dating, the proposal, the honeymoon & everything else could've been more fleshed out. I like insta-love but I also LOVE details. :)

On a big side note: The vocabulary could use an overhaul. These are adults, so I'm not a fan of "meat" for c*ck, "honeypot" for p*ssy, "underpants" for underwear, "shizz" for sh*t or "frikkin' for f*cking. Just spit out the right words... please.

I will probably continue on with the series (they make good afternoon reads), just not immediately.

Hot male strippers, BBW's, a menage, true love & of course, bear shifters. Who could ask for more? This is another good one from Sable Sylvan. The heroine's attitude change from fairly sad & conservative to wild & uninhibited was a little jarring for me, but I really did like the main characters. There's just enough heat without being over the top. This was a fun & fast read. Nothing too heavy - an enjoyable, light romance. I'm looking forward to the next in this new series.

Dancing For Their Mate

Ryan and Owen are a part of the male review "The Twelve Dancing Bears". They are looking for their fated mate and this is the best way to meet a large number of women. Helen has recently broken up with a boyfriend who didn't treat her right. She attends the review with her girlfriends, where she meets the Grizzly Bear shifters. This book is quite steamy and the author offers decently explicit scenes. However there is a bit of childish dialog, that doesn't make sense in an adult para-romance story. The book was a quick read, enjoy.

Bear Buns is a special strip club where shifters strip hoping to meet their mate. The stars of the club are the 12 dancing bears who are pairs of bear shifters with matching mate marks. These shifter pairs put on a special show, choosing a woman in the audience who catches their eye. She even gets to participate. If the shifters like their chosen woman, they take her back to their cocktail room where they share their signature cocktails with her. Hopefully they will find their mate but it has been years since the last mate was found.
Ryan and Owen are the two grizzly shifters that are the most senior dancers. one night they choose Helen to be their queen of their act. Helen is sad and recovering from being dumped by her ex. When she goes back to their cocktail room, she is amazed that these two gorgeous shifters could be interested in her. Then she sees their mate marks and realize that she is their destined mate. Overwhelmed by her feelings, she runs. Will Ryan and Owen be able to find their mate?

A fairly good read. I loved this idea of a strip club/tour for the shifters to find their mates. There were a lot of scenes that I enjoyed in the book but it was sometimes a little hard to keep track of who was who in some parts. I was a little confused by Owen and Ryan and who they were with each other, I would’ve loved to have known more about them. I wasn’t too sure of what to make of Helen but I’m they all got their happy ending

Ryan and Owen are male/Grizzly shifter strippers. WOW that was a mouthful. Helen has been dumped by her ex who was also cheating no on her. Her BFFs take her to Bear Buns Club to see the touring bear strippers. She meets Ryan and Owen and they know she is their mate. Great story.

Good story but....

The story moves a bit too fast. There’s almost no character development, they jump from just meeting to love without enough interaction in between and the dialogue makes the whole store seem very juvenile, even with the adult theme. The beginning had the makings of a great story but was left kind of disappointed

I actually am reading this series a little backwards, but I have to admit I really enjoyed this story. I loved seeing a little more into what happened after they got married and what their plans were. Even us big girls deserve to be happy. I love Big beautiful woman stories.

This book has a girl who recently got rid of a sorry ex going to a bear shifter strip club to celebrate her freedom. She is instantly attracted to two men and they have the same reaction. Turns out they are part of the entertainment and she is their fated mate. Now they need to convince her.

Flirty fun leads to two hot bear lovers. I loved this fun story of fated mates and I look forward to the next story in the series. Helen just got out of a bad romance and is understandably cautious about taking on Owen and Ryan. These guys compliment each other beautifully Ryan the impetus and Owen the slow and steady guy. I read this book using my KU subscription.

The story was cute with sexual flare and fantasies. Who doesn't think a male stripper is gorgeous but also does not believe they are worthy of being a person? Recommend for fast fun read but be aware there are editing errors throughout.
