This little book is a gem! I gave one copy to my daughter and I'm recommending it to every woman I know. Clear, concise advice about all things money.

Vick-Smith does not shy away from directly advising on relationship issues regarding finances and I so appreciate that she is so direct. As a marriage counselor I have seen way too many couples make HUGE mistakes in this area. Such mistakes can cause conflict even irremediably so, all the way to ugly, nasty divorces. And when that happens, the pain has only just begun. Financial chaos and acrimony after a divorce can lead to terrible life long fighting over money that contaminates everything for all parties. Women would be wise to heed the advice here.

This book is deceptively small but it covers a lot. A great gift from one woman to another.

Written in an easy to follow format that is very relatable and informative. Great topics and advice for women in all stages of life - saving as a young married person, planning for a time after you sell a business you built over time, caring for an elderly family member, resetting your financial plan after a divorce or loss of a spouse - all discussions are presented from an advisor with warmth, empathy and knowledge. I will be rereading various chapters as I update my own plans!

Finances are so much more than just money -- there's a huge emotional component to it and Stuart Smith recognizes that and helps to put it all in perspective with good advice and meaningful stories. Great to get well-tested advice geared to women.
