***Two strangers set out on a road trip together. At the end of it, neither will ever be the same again.

The Biker's Brother was the second book in the Sons of Sanctuary MC series by Victoria Danann. If you haven't read the first book, then you don't want to read any further in this review as there are spoilers for that book.
Brandon "Brand" St Germaine was the gorgeous twin to Brash as well as the long lost son of Brant, the Sons of Sanctuary MC President. He grew up with his wealthy mother in an affluent life style and had no idea about his father and twin brother. We read all about the story in book one, Two Princes.
The Biker's Brother began two years after the first book ended. In that time, Brandon had moved to Austin to be near his twin brother and father, who was now married to his mother. He still ran his mother's family business, now his, but set up shop in Austin running it from there. Additionally, he consulted with the Sanctuary MC's business for his father and brother.
He wanted to join the MC but knew he couldn't do it while still running his business. His father found a way as long as he did the one security job that no one wanted: keep Camden Carmichael alive until her divorce was final. Sounds easy enough. Not so much.
Camden "Cami" Carmichael was the rich beauty that was literally running for her life. Her soon to be ex-husband cruel and had connections that he could get to her easily so she needed to disappear.
In the first book it was easy to tell the players and the dialogue switch; however, with the names so close "Brand" "Brash" and "Brant" I was pretty confused in the beginning. I get they are father and sons, but I was totally lost at times and had to reread too much to keep up. Once we got to just Brand's story, it was better and easy to follow.
I liked the trek across the country between Brand and Cami. It allowed Cami to tell the story how she got to her present day in a unique and enjoyable way. It also kept the current focus on Brand and Cami. I also liked the suspense side to the storyline. I was obviously not a fan of the future ex, but I did like to see how he was maneuvering the situation and I knew that a big stand off would eventually ensue.
I liked both characters and the storyline but I would have liked to have seen them together sooner. The way they eventually came together was a little disappointing but it at least wasn't too predictable.
In the end, it was a quick and enjoyable read. I enjoyed seeing the brothers and father interact again. I do, however, wish we had an epilogue and a peak into the future. Hopefully we'll see more in future books. We were introduced to Cannon Johns and we'll get to hear his story next in Nomad.
i get the whole who, what, when, where and why. but it felt forced? and quick? i know for a fact that i have pretty much forgotten this whole thing except the main plot points.
really, it wasn't anything special. just a bunch of blah to me and just not memorable.
All you have to say is it's written by Victoria Danann! The woman is a genius as far as I'm concerned....what ever she writes is excellent. This is about Brandon St Germaine, the twin of Brash and son to Brant president of SSMC. (Son's of Sanctuary motorcycle club) after the boy's found out about each other ..(read Two Princes) Brand moves from NYC to Texas. He wants to fit in and get patched into the club. He wants to earn the respect of the other members, not just be son of the Pres. His father gives him a job, a dangerous one at that, he thinks it's crazy...does he get the job done? Who is the woman he has to protect, and what happens to them as they cross country from Connecticut to Texas...only Ms. Danann can keep you reading and NOT want to put the story down! This is another hit for Ms. Danann and your gonna want to get to this as soon as possible. Enjoy the SSMC again and all the characters that are family.
This is a book is a flower. As you read the story slowly opens up and reveal's it's inner contents. You are the bee that sucks out the story like nectar. Did that get your attention? Good! "The Biker's Brother" is a story that takes its time to introduce you to the characters over the course book. You learn about them as they learn to trust and reveal themselves to each other. It does have a HEA, but there are some really twisted solutions to achieving it. ENJOY!
Take a ride with Victoria Danann’s Sons of Sanctuary MC in the Biker’s Brother
Cami needs to escape from an abusive and vindictive ex that wants her dead so he can inherit her estate. Brand needs to earn the respect of his dad and brother as well as the rest of the club. Find out what happens when two seemingly opposite worlds collide on a road trip across the country when Brand takes on the responsibility for getting Cami to safety in the arms of the SSMC.
Victoria Danann has once again woven a great tale. There is always something more to her characters than first meet the eye. Brand and Cami have an instant attraction that has to come second to her safety as they attempt to elude her murderous ex. Their interactions are enjoyable as they fight their attraction yet grow closer throughout their ordeal. I also loved watching the play between Brand and his family, father Brant and twin brother Brash. Not your typical family, but there for one another in every way . . . which will be put to the test!
This book has a fast moving story line full of suspense. The characters are well written and given depth so that it is easy to become invested in Cami’s safety as well as where her relationship with Brand might progress to.
Five stars is just not enough for The Biker’s Brother. While it can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading Book One: Two Princes first for more back story on Brand’s relationship with his family as well as with the SSMC.
This is most definitely very different than what I am used to reading by Victoria, but I couldn’t love it more. In a lot of ways, it reminds me of my late husband from 11 years ago and his stories of when he used to ride with a bunch of different biker groups and participated in some of the ‘protection’ details. Thank you, Victoria Danann, for bringing those memories back that I had forgotten long ago and being able to pass those on to our 21 year old son. (Well, maybe not everything.)
This is another winner in the Sons of Sanctuary series. Victoria Danann has done it again. She creates such compelling characters and exciting stories. I admit that I did not know if I would like her new series. I love her fantasy and paranormal tales. I am not attracted to motorcycle gang culture, but she has re-imaged it in such a way that I was completely drawn into the book.
Brandon is the twin that grew up in wealth and privilege. He runs Germane Enterprises. Finding out he had a brother and a father in Texas has changed his life. He is so glad they have become friends as well as family. His new relatives are members of a motorcycle club. Brandon can't be member without giving up his other life and his responsibilities to his business. Yet he still wants to be a part of the club. He gets his chance when the club is hired to act as a bodyguard to a rich man's daughter. No one in club wants the job. If Brandon takes it, he can get the members' respect and by-pass some of the other regulations.
Cami is in the processes of getting a divorce. The man she thought she married turned out to be a monster. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He even planned to murder her for her inheritance. Her father wants to keep her safe until the divorce is final and her husband can no longer get her money. So the Sons are hired to protect her.
Brandon and Cami immediately have issue with each other. Brandon sees her as a job and Cami sees him as a heartless jailer. It is a shame they both find the other so attractive. There are other barriers as they travel together. He knows she is a client and he can't act on his feelings. She feels they have nothing in common and any relationship would be meaningless.
They must face natural and human obstacles on their road trip together. There is humour, romance, and adventure. One part was so exciting, I almost missed my bus stop. This is definitely a page turner. I highly recommend it.
After reading Two Princes, the first book in this series, I was beyond excited to get my hands on this book! As always, Victoria Danann did not disappoint! This is Brandon's story, and it is simply phenomenal!
After discovering the fact that he has a twin brother, Brand and his mom move from NYC to Texas. Brand is still running the family business, but he longs to become a member of his dad's MC. In order to receive his patch while also gaining the respect of his club brothers, Brand takes on a dangerous job for the club. He has no idea that this "job" will end up changing his life forever. What happens you ask? Well, you will have to read the book ! Trust me, this is a story you will want to experience for yourself!
I have only recently discovered the genius that is Victoria Danann and let me tell you that woman has made it to the top of my most favorite author list in record time! If you haven't read the books in this series, you are really missing out! Hurry up and one click them now, so you will be ready for the next book, Nomad, which is set to be released March 2017!
WOW! To say that I’m absolutely enamored with the Sons of Sanctuary series would be an understatement. This is the second novel in this outstanding series, and it left me eagerly anticipating more. It starts off at a roller coaster pace, and never slows down. This novel is about Brandon, the brother who just discovered his twin and dad in Texas. Brandon has money.... a lot of it. So, when his father asks him to take a mission that no one in the Sons of Sanctuary will take, Brandon is not thrilled, but accepts to gain the respect of the club. What he gets is most assuredly not what he anticipated. Cami is a heiress on the run. She needs to hide. She needs to disappear. And that’s where Brandon steps in. On a wild cross country ride, they must work together to escape the clutches of her abusive ex. Both Cami and Brandon are very strong, engaging characters, while Trey (the nasty ex), is slimy enough to make me go wash my hands after reading. I adored this novel, and am eagerly anticipating more from the amazing Ms. Victoria Danann! I did voluntarily read and review an Advance Reader Copy of this novel.
This book is unlike the books we have come to know and love by Victoria Danann. The talent of Ms Danann when she takes pen to paper or fingers to the keyboard is boundless. We have waited a little while for this book, but it was so worth the wait. Ms Danann had me at the beginning of this book sitting on the edge of my seat. I could not put my kindle down until I read the very last page. Now to understand where this story line comes from and to understand why it was so important for Brand to do what he does in this book, you will want to read the first two books, A Season in Gemini: Sons of Sanctuary, Intro (Sons of Sanctuary MC .5) and Two Princes (Sons of Sanctuary MC #1). You will not be disappointed. Victoria Danann is a truly talented author and never ceases to amaze me with her storylines and ideas. I can't wait for more from this series.
This is a really wonderful book. I loved the danger and mystery added to the romance. I am never disappointed in Danann’s writing. Her plots are interesting and always keep me reading faster and faster to the very end. Her character’s simply are so complete that they are more like friends than just characters. Brandon and Cami are so good they jump from the page to your heart. Watching the interactions between them is so much fun. The romance is slow and heats up nicely. Also, Danann’s dialog is always sharp and sometimes funny. The world of the Son’s of Sanctuary MC is fully developed and feels real. I went through so many emotions but in the end I wished it had not ended. I wanted to hear more about this couple and all the rest if the family. This is the second of the series but can be read as stand alone. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Ms. Danann has once again given readers characters to fall in love with and root for. Twists and turns; a cross-country adventure; and a surprise or two along the way.
While this book is stand-alone you may find it helpful tor read Two Princes (book 1) so that you have the background.
Please note: the subject matter may be a trigger for some readers
Really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the follow up. I've never read any biker books prior to Victoria's, and thoroughly enjoyed all 3 in the series so far. As always with Victoria's books the story had all sorts of brilliant characters, was full of adventure and romance, and kept me hooked right up to the end.
Another wonderful story from Victoria Danann! To me this is a story of acceptance. For Brand it is from his family and his MMC brothers . For Cam it's for herself. Together they are beautiful!! Well done!
Yes!! I knew the author would come through again for me!! The Two Princes seemed a bit rushed to an ending. But this one??? Oh, my....love road trip books. Add in intrigue, some chase scenes, a hot billionaire/biker and a woman who needs protection. All the greatness happening right there. This is Brandons's story. His attempt to fit into the MC in some capacity. His dad the Pres sends him on a mission to prove himself worthy of patching in to the MC.
Loved the back and forth between Cami and Brand. It was also great to see the interaction between Brash and Brand again and the love from their dad for both of them.
This book had a bit more of the workings of the MC tied up in it. Enough there to make me intrigued. Looking forward to reading the next one as well. Great book!
*WARNING. Please note this book contains dark material that may be unwelcome by sensitive readers.* This warning is right up front. Yet what this refers to is deliciously exciting if you aren’t too squeamish. Brand and Camden cannot help but being drawn to each other. These two are a perfect match for each other. Brand is trying to get his place locked in at SSMC and Camden is trying to stay alive long enough to get paperwork done. They take off on a journey that is both physical and mental while extremely hot and exciting. A fun read with some dark points in a fantastic story.
Victoria knocks another one out of the park! As you will come to expect from a VD book. She grabs a hold of you and keeps you enthralled right to the last page. I love a good road trip & VD takes us on a whopper of a ride. Brandon is the twin to Brash, who we met in Two Princes. Brandon wants to be a part of the Sons of Sanctuary MC club. To prove himself he volunteers for a job no one else wants. To protect the Daughter of a Very Rich man. Cami is Divorcing her abusive husband. Brandon has to get her away from NYC to Texas, to keep her safe. They clash, yet are very attracted to each other. As expected with one of her books. I laughed, Cried, sat on the edge of my seat. The suspense is great! Not just your ordinary MC contemporary. This book also has a bit of the dark side to it. It does delve into the MC characters. It is truly a great read. Yes it does have a wonderful HEA! Do yourself a favor & get your copy today!!! From a True Forever Fan... Pam James.
This is a book you cannot put down.......I started reading it and BAM before I knew it the clock had counted off to 2:30AM........We first met Brandon in Ms Danann's first book of the Sons of Sanctuary, "TWO PRINCES: The Biker and The Billionaire (Sons of Sanctuary MC Book 1" (I highly recommend you read this one first so this next one will make sense).
To "gain acceptance and patch" to the Sanctuary MC, Brandon is given a job by his father the President of said club.....a job that no one else wanted. Bringing a "package" from New York all the way to Houston.
The package just happens to be Cami, a rich socialite, who's soon to be ex-husband has threatened her life......Cami's father hires the Sanctuary Security MC to keep her safe.
The story rolls, rocks and delivers mystery, intrigue, romance and much, much more. I won't give the story line away, nor the end......you are going to have to be like me and read it.........
The Biker´s Brother by Victoria Danann is book two in the " Sons of Sanctuary MC " series. For better understanding you should read " Two Princes " book one in this series first. The Biker´s Brother is a contemporary romance novel.
This is Brand and Cami´s story. Brandon St. Germaine billionaire and playboy longs for acceptance with his newfound family. Camden Carmichael runs from her psycho-ex. Brand and Cami are forced on a roadtrip from Boston to Austin. Arrived in supposedly safety lurks a new threat... The Biker´s Brother is an obviously MC book. I love Victoria Danann´s PNR series , but with The Sons of Sanctuary MC she did it again. She wrote a book that I couldn´t put down. It is well written and I Love her words. Thank you Victoria Danann- 5 beautiful Stars.

what can i say Victoria has pulled it out of the hat once again. After finding out that he has a twin brother ( brash) and father ( brant ) in the first book, i wasnt surprised by his next move most people would do the same thing i.e get to know them properly. He wants to fit in and show the club that he's got what it takes to be classed as one of them. when Brand meats up with Cami he realises she's not some stuck up rich snob and finds himself drawn to her. There's some really funny laugh out loud moments and my family thought i was loosening it ( strange looks of them lol ), its got action and anticipation which keeps you gripped all the way through from beginning to end. I will and have recommended this book.
What are we capable of when it comes to protecting the one we love? You might be surprised! Brand grew up in a world of privilege....a world much different than his newly discovered twin brother and father. He wants the respect and inclusion of his father and brother's world and takes on a task none of the other members of the Sons of Sanctuary MC wanted anything to do with... What starts out as a means to prove himself becomes more than Brand anticipated.... "The Biker's Brother" is the 2nd book in Victoria Danann's Sons of Sanctuary Motorcycle Club series.....a series you will definitely want to read!
Well what can I say that I haven’t said in the past? Ms.Danann has yet again written an exciting story that grabs you from the first few pages and won’t let go, even after you have finished reading. In this, the 2nd in the Sons of Sanctuary MC series, Brand takes a security job. He has to rescue Camden Carmichael from her abusive husband, and get to Austin. Whilst on their “Road Trip” they strike up a friendship & Cami feels safe with Brand, however deep down she is petrified that her husband will catch up with her & kill her as he has threatened to do. One thing is for sure, once you are under the protection of the SSMC things will always be interesting.
*Please note this book contains dark subject matter that may be unwelcome to sensitive readers.* I do wish writers would denote their emphasis of ‘dark’ to help readers decide since dark is purely subjective.
“Texas
For almost two years every hour that Brandon St. Germaine wasn’t working at Germane Enterprises was spent at the motorcycle club his grandfather had founded in 1975. He’d moved as much of the operation to Austin as possible and restructured his job description to free up time. His father and brother had taught him about their side of the family and the legacy of the club. In exchange he offered suggestions here and there on how to make their own business enterprises more profitable. All in all he was satisfied with his new life, which was worlds away from the way he’d lived in New York. In fact there was only one thing he’d change if he could. He wasn’t a member of the club and couldn’t be so long as he continued to run Germane. It was an odd situation, being part of the club’s royal family and an outsider at the same time. Some of the members had become friends. Others regarded him with a polite distance that bore a marked resemblance to suspicion.
Brandon St. Germaine was at the top of the billionaire playboy heap when he learned about a side of the family that had been kept in secret. He left New York, moved to Texas, and took most of the corporate empire with him. But he worked at restructuring Germane Enterprises by putting trustworthy people in key positions to free up his time so that he could learn about the Texas motorcycle club branch of his family that had formed its own kind of dynasty.
His dad, president of the club his grandfather founded, spent three decades converting the club's income sources to legitimate business dealings. One of the biggest earners was the security service. When a ridiculously wealthy, but justifiably frightened father hired the SSMC to protect his daughter from the psycho she's divorcing, Brand gets the job.
Camden Carmichael is running from a psycho ex. Lucky for her that her father has the means to hire Sanctuary Security to protect her until the divorce is finalized. Two strangers set out on a road trip together. At the end of it, neither will ever be the same again.

Writing reviews is very hard for me. How do you recommend a book with fresh new descriptions? Victoria is definitely my top author, her talent for creating believable, real characters never ceases to pull me into her vision. The Biker's Brother is great story, the second foray into the world of SSMC, gives a deeper look into club life and those involved. I loved seeing how much closer the family gets as Brand also follows his heart to gain respect with the club, only to end up with finding his heart in Cami. Although contemporary romance isn't usually my genre, Victoria's tales draw me in and keep me enthralled!
The Biker's Brother is the 2nd installment in the Sons of Sanctuary Motorcycle Club (SSMC) series. If you like intrigue, danger, descriptions so detailed you can smell the rain, feel the sun and suspense so intricately written you suddenly realize you are holding your breath; this book is for YOU!
Hiding until the divorce may not be enough This may be the second book of the series but it’s still a self-contained story. This book is about the brother Brandon. Now Brand may be a Billionaire and head of the Germaine enterprise, but he’s also family and the son to the president of Sons of Sanctuary MC. But he feels like a bit of an outsider. He’s not a patched member like his Twin brother is. His twin grew up in that world and he grew up with his mother and the Germaine enterprise. To get the respect of the club and to become a patched member, he takes on a job that none of the other members of Sons of Sanctuary MC want. He must protect and deliver the daughter of a wealthy father to the club to help protect her from her psycho and soon to be Ex-husband. Camden Carmichael’s marriage has been going downhill ever since the I do’s. Her husband has even been physically abusive. But she’s been too ashamed to tell anyone or get help. That is until she finds a will with her signature on it that she never signed. She also finds evidence her husband is looking into ways to kill someone and make it look like suicide. She finally calls her dad and he call Sons of Sanctuary MC to help protect her. Awesome and very well written story that’s very entertaining to read. Once you start, you won’t want to put down.
What happens when you take a New York Money maker who not only owns his own business, but is a handsome devil to boot and add in an extended family just as devilishly handsome with connections to a MC in Austin Texas. Brandon St. Germaine is known is some circles as a Billionaire Playboy, but to his Father and Brother's MC he is still just a moneymaker. Brandon will do anything to earn the Clubs respect. So when a "job" comes up that no one wants, he doesn't think twice when his dad tells him about it. A rich father requests a Security Detail for his daughter from the Clubs Security Business, SSMC. Brandon will do what ever it takes to get the job done as well as whatever it takes to earn some respect. When Camden Carmichael father hires SSMC to protect her from her soon to be crazy ex-husband. She thinks she may be over her head, but no rough and tough Cowboy Biker was going to to her what to do, or was he. Two hardheaded stubborn individuals thrown together in some of the strangest circumstances are running across the country to avoid being detected by anyone who would be able to connect his package to the Carmichael family. Things get heated up as they are on the run. A well written, fun loving, action packed story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I recommend this to anyone who loves MC Stories. Well done!
Victoria is a superb story teller and doesn't disappoint in this book. You can feel the emotions jumping off the pages of this book. The life Brandon leads is a complete turn around from how he was raised. Sensing his need for acceptance and the pride he has makes for one hot man.
Brandon grew up in a life of wealth and privilege and wants to prove himself not only to his father and brother but the SSMC as a whole. He volunteers for a job no one else wants and faces dangers that will keep you on the edge of your seat. He must escort Cami, who is in the process of divorcing her abusive husband who has murder in his plans and will stop at nothing to get his hands on her inheritance.
Brandon and Cami have issues with each other from the very start but he is determined to keep her safe and not allow personal feelings to get in the way. As they work to keep her alive they realize that people are not always as they appear.
What's not to like about hot rich bikers? Brandon St. Germaine was separated from his mother and twin brother when he was a baby..Now after years of living in NY City his twin brother has found him..He journeys to Texas to get to know the father and brother he never knew. His father is Brant..president of the Sons of Sanctuary Motorcycle Club..Brandon decides he wants to be in the Club and has to earn points to get in.. What follows is a game of cat and mouse across the country. Trying to hide a client Cami from her abusive ex-husband until her divorce papers come through.. Another great read from Ms Danann..Love this series..Can't wait for the next.
This is the second book in the series. You can read it first and not get lost. I loved it! About the second brother Brandon who wants to be a part of the club but can't because of his business. Father has him become a sort of bodyguard to protect a woman and bring her home safely. From the beginning I was hooked and giggling some. Love the humor and action just as in Victoria's other series. A little of Son of Anarchy action. Look forward to the next in this series! Bravo! x
