"He has to go."
The words echoed through the cavernous great-room that held my cage. I could have winced at the venom dripping from the Alpha's voice. I could have cried at the injustice of being sent away after the injuries already visited upon me. I did neither, I simply closed my eyes and tried to block out the hateful noise as I breathed against the searing pain in my abdomen.
Captive or not, I would have preferred to stay in my human form – it was much more efficient at achieving a comfortable body temperature – but with neither clothing nor bedding provided in my cage to help me retain my body heat, I wouldn't have been much better off. Instead, I lay curled in my wrought iron cage, my tail wrapped tightly around my body, the tip hooked over my snout as I tried to retain every bit of warmth available in the damp, drafty castle.
"But he's an Omega," the dowager dragoness argued. "That's rare in itself, but he's a jeweled dragon!" She clucked to herself. "A jeweled Omega! Do you know how rare a combination that is?"
"Of course I do," the Alpha replied, exasperation seeping into his voice. "But the bloodlines are useless if we can't control who breeds him." He huffed and I heard a brief sizzle as his fiery breath clearly got too close to something. "Mother, he's a whore. Do you really wish to bring that type of breeding stock into the lineage?"
"No, no. Of course not," she answered, sighing heavily. "When Harold takes a mate, of course it should be one as pure as he or she is fertile." Another sigh. "The children would have been beautiful, though. Where do you intend to send him?"
"The Omega Auction," the Alpha said firmly. "That's the only place I can think of to unload him without his virginity intact without cheating anyone."
"Of course, the auction," the dragoness said slowly. "Yes, I suppose that's for the best.

Dragons! Finally!!!

We got a brief glimpse of Alpha dragon Trey and his newly purchased Omega dragon Cian at the beginning of book three (The Mating Game), when Cian met Kenny while they were both at the Omega Auction.

Cian has long been ill-treated by this previous “owners” and, sadly for him, his new experiences in Trey’s possession have been anything but happy or loving either. In fact, for a good portion of this story I couldn’t fathom how Trey and Cian could eventually fall in love in a believable way, not after the disgusting treatment Trey and his household bestowed on Cian when he first came to live with them. It took Cian’s comatose surrender into oblivion, along with Omega Trevor’s empathic magic and an awesome verbal smackdown to shock Trey into considering how he’d been grossly mistreating Cian (and many Omegas in his 800 year life). Basically, Trey is an asshole Alpha dragon, and even after atoning for his past behaviour and attitudes, I was left unconvinced and didn’t buy into his love declarations for the lovely but subjugated Cian.

This story parallels the events that occurred during The Mating Game but also continued to fill in the time between then and book four (Unlawfully Claimed) – which is also why I have no idea why these books are marked and ordered the way they are on Goodreads, because I for one wish I’d known this and been able to read Unlawfully Claimed and All That Glitters in reverse order. I know this kind of issue doesn’t affect many readers, but I’m definitely not the only person who prefers to read stories in the correct order, so for those of us who are anal like that, this kind of timeline confusion is such a pain in the butt.

When it came to the dragon shifter lore I was left with mixed feelings. I liked the idea of rare jewelled dragons that could conceive without being bred, but I generally wasn’t a fan of the dragon hierarchy and how the Alpha’s (and especially the royals) treated Omegas like slaves and whores. Also, the whole “dragons aren’t monogamous” thing was worrisome and never actually revisited once Trey decided he loved Cian.

Thankfully, I was a fan of some of the other happenings in this story which helped boost my enjoyment. I love the ongoing story arc involving Trevor (from book one) and his prophesied empathic abilities, among other things. I was also thrilled to witness the delivery of his and Clint’s twin pups, which felt like a long time coming. I'll admit that my absolute favourite part was when series bad guy Jack finally got his comeuppance and met an end that was…swift. *cackles in evil delight*

The next story intrigues me; an Alpha dragon prince and a shy, stuttering Omega wolf? Yes, please!

I freaking lovedddd this novel. It was really really good. By far, I have read 5 books in this series and I have to admit the first and this fifth are my favorite. This one is a bit different from the previous installation in the series since this is about dragon shifters but my my my! I absolutely adore this book.

I know that most people will hate alpha MC but I do think Trey was such a lovely character. Correct that he had been an insensitive prick in the beginning but he more than made up for it later. I really loved the scene when he protected Cian from palace guards and injured himself severely. I also really doted on Cian character. I just wish there are more portrayal on his past and childhood and how he befallen under the arms of Blackwells. Regardless, I love the Cain’s epitome character of omegas.

And did I mention that? The sex was sooo hot and lusty! 😁 It was really sexy and I wish there are a bit more scenes on that. I also loved the ending and how the author wrapped up the whole situation neatly. And I know that the word “I love” is repetitive like hundred times already in this review but I can’t help it! I LOVE THIS BOOK! ❤️❤️❤️

Overall 4.5 stars

Hmmmm, I could have liked this book more. I'm feeling a little disappointed in this one. I just finished reading All That Glitters earlier today and I'm already having a hard time recalling the character's names and the plot. To top it all off, I don't think I ever really started liking the dragon Alpha, whatever his name was. Trey? I have no clue.

I did, however, like Cian. I was pretty hyped up for his book after reading about him from Kenny's story, but this one fell short. The funny thing is, the author's writing is getting better. I mean, the writing has improved by spades. Grammar leaves much to be desired, but I think that's down to poor editing. The plot quality seems to be going downhill as well.

But damnit, now I'm invested and I want to read more of them! I guess I'm in for the long haul on this one. Wish me luck.

2.5 stars...

Not much better than the wolfish books in this series. I looked forward to Cian's book but he was unconscious for a big part of the book. Meh...

At least the super villain is finally dead cause I was already sick and tired of him!

I've got 2 more books of The Omega Auction Chronicles on my laptop and I think this would be the end of my encounters with this universe.

I'm continuing to set the multiple editing errors (names mixed up, missing punctuation, grammar issues) aside.

This is dragon shifters Cian and Trevahn Falk’s story. Dragons don't have traditional fated mates, so Trey doesn't initially have the pull for Cian that the wolves have had for their mates. Trey buys Cian only for the purpose of breeding him.
"It's important to bring as much fresh blood into the bloodlines as possible. All fertile dragons should be breeding in an attempt to increase the numbers of our species."

However, after some really terrible treatment, both by Trey (inadvertently) and members of his household (on purpose) Cian becomes ill and begins to die. Faced with the possibility of losing the man he's tried desperately not to get attached to, Trey goes to Trevor of the Coruscation pack for help.

I enjoyed some of this story. There's a really nice thread of hurt/comfort here that hit the spot. I'm especially glad that even though this one had multiple POV, it wasn't as jumbled as The Mating Game. Also, in this the timeline, though still screwed up, was less maddening as well.

I would have really liked to have gotten a better idea about Dragon history, and some of the plot points weren't concluded very satisfactorily (what happened to Harold?), but in all it was enjoyable and I can't seem to put the series down.

On to the next!

Dragons, what fun. OK this time around we find out what happened to the bought Dragon omega from the auction. He was fun and sweet but as far as I’m concerned the real winner was that little red Alpha. Oh how that little red alpha made me giggle and clap my hands with delight. I enjoyed the couple getting to know each other, I enjoyed the battle, flaws and all. Once again this author intertwines characters from the past with the characters in the present story very well. Caleb’s skills are still being respected and developed as these stories go, loving it as far as I’m concerned successfully. Slowly but surely we’re starting to see the world of these shifters. Whether you like them or you don’t we’re done I’m loving it.

Another sweet Omega mpreg rescue story

Another in a series of light, simple and sweet Omega rescue stories, this one with a draconian twist to the mpreg. Lightly escapist for fans of shifter Omegaverse stories and dragon shifters.

Quick shifter read in this continuing series

This is the dragons story, Trey and Cian, that we met during Kenny's book.
It's a quick read, a little bit of drama, a bit of misunderstanding and meddling but another true love mate romance in the end.

This book was a 3.5 for me
I enjoy this series and the Authors imagination and lovable characters, and even though I loved the story and the characters, the new and the old it lacked the roundness of a really good book for me. There were massive gaps where I felt the author could of expanded details and explanation to give the book a nice free flowing story but it stopped and started for me like the author mentioned something was happening but didn't carry on with it. Now in a series this can be expected where your left in the dark about some things until the next book and it adds suspense but I find that works when it's just the same characters each time whereas in this series the 2 main characters are always different though you've got past characters integrated in the story background. Sometimes when you read a short story which this is the story can feel rushed and like the Authors just ticking off points they've got to mention but seems the previous books are also short but well rounded reads I don't know what happened with this one. Had poor spelling mistakes and wrong words. As I said I love the Authors imagination and tend to always like his books but this one just fell short in my opinion and could of been a great book if a little more detail could of been added, but saying that I'll still probably check out the next in the series.

Good, but not great.
I feel as though this series started off so strong in the first book, but has progressively declined. There were serious timeline issues in previous books and that really messed with my enjoyment of the series as a whole, but not enough to stop me from coming back!

In this story, I loved Cian. He was so messed up from his young life that he truly didn't understand Trey's actions when he was being nice, or being a jerk. And he was a jerk. For too long. And I don't think he ever really redeemed himself.
Aside from Cian, there was very little depth to other characters, and no development between the couple. I wish there could have been more :(

I did still enjoy reading this story, and found it to be well edited and free of errors which is (unfortunately) something that has plagued many of my current reads. I'll definitely be back for more.

Beautiful Omega

I felt horrible for all Cian had to go through. There isn't much about his time at the Blackwell's castle but it sounds like it was no picnic. Then to be bought by Trey to be bred and mistreated by the nanny. I understand why he is willing to waste away. If only Cian knew how special he was and that he could speak up. I really do love the werewolf pack. They help all Omegas no matter the species. Its good that Trey asked for their help, but how he could let things go so far is just appalling. It was hard to read. For a sweet and beautiful Omega like Cian he should have been prized and spoiled from birth, not neglected and used for breeding. This story definitely got me angry.

Not as strong as the previous books

I liked the premise of the book, but I felt that the actual execution fell flat. Trey was too cruel with not enough of a motivation to change to really be believable from the story we got. Cian was too well adjusted for having been a prisoner for most of his life.

In addition, what happened to Harold? Were there any consequences for the dragon royal family who held Cian captive? Where did Margot get the idea that Trey would ever pick her? What happened to Trey's lover? Who was Trey's lover?

I enjoyed this addition to the Omega Auction series. There are some parts that were hard for me to get through; especially Trey's behavior towards Cian at the beginning. He was cold and unkind and I didn't know how he could possibly rise to the standards of the author's previous heros. I did like his interactions with his daughter. Cian has endured too much and I was surprised that he was still kind and loving. There is some nice action-adventure in the book and I loved seeing the guys from the previous books make an appearance.

Completely fallen for this series. The stories are so good, bit sad, fun and sweet to read.
Only thing with this book was all the archaic words, yeah okay dragons are ancient. But it's still a bit confusing if English isn't your native language.

I really enjoyed reading this book, especially because we get to meet new shifters, the dragons. the story was intriguing and enjoyable.

Now, on to serious matters. I have once or twice disliked a hero in other books, but Dear God, how I loathed this dragon alpha. there was nothing soft or sweet or caring about him. For nearly 70 percent I kept wondering when the love and feelings were goin to kick in. And even when they sort of did, I wasn't feeling it. Now, I like it when people get what they deserve but in this case, this alpha did not get to hurt or grovel enough to warrant being accepted by our tiny sweet omega Cian(not in my book at least). and then what was up with Cian needing that prick after being treated like trash and ending up depressed and comatose!!! Yeah, yeah, I get his 'omega nature' makes him needy and constantly want to please his alpha but what the hell was that!

"No? I was more than confused. Instinctively, I reached out for his
mind, and to my surprise, this time I was able to receive a brief impression
of what was causing my previously responsive Omega to hold back. In the
vision, we were in his room and I had him bent over the bed, positioned to
receive my seed. He reached down to touch himself and I snarled, 'I haven't
the time to waste waiting for an Omega to spill his useless seed.' As the
scene replayed in his mind, he tried harder and harder to clamp down on his
arousal, and for the first time that I could recall, my own arousal waned.
I slid back up and pulled Cian into my arms, his gasping pants
landing wetly on my chest, matting the hair.
"I'm sorry," I murmured in his ear, nibbling on the soft outer shell. "I
shouldn't have said that to you." I heard the whimper he tried to swallow
and held him closer. "I speak the truth, Cian. You deserve to be treated like
the treasure you are and I am sorry that it took me so long to see the error of
my ways."
I slid my hand down his back and allowed my fingertips to tease the
tender cleft at the base of his spine. Cian moaned and buried his face
against my chest even as he pushed back into the contact."

OK. Maybe am a bit harsh, but that half-assed apology wasn't good enough. and that was all it took for them to resume their love making?? At this point I was practically shouting; 'Come on omega, channel your inner Colby, punch a motherfucker!!!' that guy really was a dick!!!!

Otherwise, awesome read!

Fuck, some of the alphas in this series are just extremely assholeish!

First there was the big, strong omega who was gang-raped for hours and gravely injured, but his alpha just assumed he had been out fucking around.

In this book, we have a dragon shifter who buys a young kid for breeding, planning on returning him to the auction after he has pumped out a couple of babies. He mistreats the kid horribly, uses him as a fuckhole twice a day, and fucks a lover under Cian's balcony after having told him that, I haven't the time to waste waiting for an Omega to spill his useless seed. Charming.

When he's not fucking Cian, he leaves him to rot alone, and does not notice the kid is wasting away until he's almost dead. Then he grovels a little, applies some Magic Penis, all is forgivenHE

This was the first book in the series that I read and as a result, I was like who the fuck are all these secondary characters? Also, the alpha was SUCH AN CRUAL ASSHOLE! And then it's basically fine after because he feels bad? Reminded me of Honeythorn in that I couldn't understand how the abused omega learned to love the abusive alpha?

The way Cian lost his virginity was HORRIBLE and once the alpha develops feelings for him, he never expresses regret. I really felt like he didn't put any effort into building trust with the person he claims to love.

Opens your eyes

Cian was bought by Trey at auction. Cian was in a cage and treated terribly most of his life. So the way his new alpha Trey treated him seemed normal to him. When he thought that no one wanted him, he lost the will to live. Trey realizes that he has been an uncaring jerk and tries to make up for it. Trevor plays a big part in helping Trey see the error of his ways.
There is a lot of emotions in this book. Even though this is a paranormal book, it brings to mind that there are many people in the real world who are treated just as bad or worse. I love that the proceeds of this series going to help those in need with similar problems.

This story starts out different than the others in the series so far. At first I wasn't sure about how my feelings for Trey. He seemed to be distant and uncaring. And for an alpha he seemed to really unaware of what was going on under his own roof. But in the story you get to seem him grow up a bit and evolve as a character. I became more invested in the story and the characters after he seeks counsel for Cian. There is much to overcome and I think Trey's daughter is really a little show stealer.

I don't know what I was expecting. I was hoping that the differences between dragon shifters and wolf/werewolf shifters would be more pronounced. I wanted more explanation of how a life bond would happen between dragons. The process is well developed for the wolf/werewolf shifters, but it seems to be glossed over in this story. A good idea for a story, with some interesting plot elements, but it seemed like it was missing some things for me.

I started this series at the beginning of the week, and here it is, Friday, and I’ve finished the fifth one. I rarely read MM books, but having begun to read omega verse type stories more lately, I thought I’d give this a try. The stories have been great. It’s been interesting how the author has dealt with mating and children, etc.

Overall, I’ve found the series enjoyable. If you’re looking for an omega verse series, this was is good.

Most of my reviews will sound the same unless I have something to say

The narrator was ok but not the best The voice did annoy me but The story kept me entertained

I like how Arthur added background to the story and didn’t leave any information out

The sex parts was good and sexy

At the start of the story when he meets the alpha dragon and start breeding was bit cringe but was amazing book to read

Ugh, I can't tell if I like this series or not. Obviously, I'm enjoying it enough to keep reading, but the crass treatment of deep emotional hurts in every book is wearing on me, ngl. This one was... interesting in the addition of dragons to the world, but so, so disappointing in regard to Trey as an alpha. His redemption arc from being an asshole was pretty fucking weak, to be honest. A 2.5-star read for me, rounded up.
