The 2nd book in the series. We left Kady aka Adirina in the Temple of Light. Her aunt had been captured by Zygam, her previous mentor and now dark Lord, who had been pursuing the pair for 10 years. The aunt had locked Kady's memories and Magic so Zygam would not find them. Now she needed to release her magical power, so she could re leash her aunt from the state of stasis, and bring her back to the Temple of Light. So the story continues..
Yes it is a YA suitable story, with a magical theme and emotionally traumatic ideas of people leaving and not ever returning or being turned from the Light to greed and darkness.
Spellbinding at its best.
I voluntarily submitted this review after reading an advanced copy of this book.

The second book in this mini series moves from the introduction into the new world to an adventurous story.
Kadirah is deep in training, focusing on her magic, mind abilities and physical skills. She develops new friendship with Jasper, her training partner, who leads her on the right path to unlock her magical abilities and understand her nature. With Akilah´s help, she sufficiently masters the necessary skills to go on a rescue mission - and although she brings her aunt back, the journey ends differently than expected.
The second book is much faster and fuller with happenings than the opening piece. Individual characters are more profiled and detailed and better understood where they stand and what are they capable of. Reader can also observe some development in the characters, mostly in Kady. Her temper, impatiency and stubbornness, together with strong will and exceptional talent make her a noticeable heroine.
The pace is quite fast, with some turns and twists, though not all of them unexpected or surprising. However, I sense the improvement and enjoyed the story and I look forward to the next book to se where it takes me. I love the magical world, expecially one particular element - the moving pictures. I am curious and interested in Kady's destiny.
Nevertheless, I must admit I expected more from the book. I still hope and believe it gets better in the future. I can feel the unused potential so far.
I volunteered to honestly review an ARC of this book.

This should have been more, but sadly the book suffers from middle-child syndrome. There was a lot of ground to cover - even in just answering questions that came up in the first book. And some of it just didn't happen for me.

The book did start to pick up the pace towards the end. And it helped a lot. Sadly though it ended with far more questions than those it answered. There is a gem waiting within this somewhere. Perhaps this would be a better read if you're able to read the trilogy in one go.

All in all, I'm left with feeling that this was not the book for me.

I gave this book 3 stars instead of 2 as I love a series of books. Getting a bit more on characters I've meet and liked before always hooks me.

Another great continuation to this wonderful series. In this book the reader gets to see the frustrations that Kady goes through trying to figure out her magic while wanting to release all her power in order for her to save her aunt. There is a lot of mystery and trust issues throughout the story. You just don't know who is really telling the truth. I was so thrilled that I am part of this book. I am Master Yaritza the healer, that is awesome. I was so proud that Kady went with her instincts and was able to see that she can reveal more magic without remembering. I was so sad that when the book got very exciting I have to wait for the third book. Can't wait to see who will be the all powerful and release the Prophecy of Light.

The second book of series Prophecy of Light is readable. There are solved and resoveld some tasks from the book one but our curiosity is still maintained by other pieces of information about Kady´s memories and Prophecy of Light. Kady must unleash and improve her magic abilities to save her aunt from evil mage Zygam. She finds new friend and loses curent one along the way.

The first half of the book is in slow pace and it is a little bit boring but the second half, when Kady decided to act on her own, makes it up. There are more pieces of informations and interesting and thrilling actions. When I finished the book I really hard wanted to read next right now:-)

I loved it! It was nice to see Kady growing and learning. It was easy to appreciate her frustration when she wanted to help her aunt and it seemed people around her were hiding information she needed to know. She is bold, and not afraid to go it alone if necessary, although she is also strong enough to accept the help of friends. The book moved very quickly, and it was hard to put down. I wanted to see what was going to happen next. I am eager for the next book.
