For the Associate exam this seems to cover all the bases - especially if you log into the on-line exercises and practise exams that are on the book publishers web site. You do have to use other resources , like the white papers and perhaps Linux Academy or Cloud Gurus to give you the full picture.
The exam has changed in 2018, so I would expect a new book, but if you have studied with this particular book, make sure you pick the right exam when you come to sit it. Things have changed since this book was published , so some of the topics and values on the new test , might be out of date now.
If you want to get into Amazon AWS - then this is a good place to start.
Decent coverage of core products and concepts, but some of the content is stale already, as of October 2017, and some new products covered on the exam are not even mentioned. A great resource to prepare for the exam, but you'll need to augment this with something more current. Personally, I found that the linuxacademy.com videos and practice exams did a good job of filling in the blanks.
Good guide for the exam but some parts are outdated
Good reference for main AWS services and contains good set of questions for the exam - especially scenario based - but some parts need update as it don't cover recent developments in AWS services and exam that changed in the last couple of years
Helpful prep in preparing for the AWS CSAA exam. Be sure to register online for access to a web version of the chapter quizzes and two practice tests. I would also recommend the CSAA courses by aCloudGuru and LinuxAcademy and the practice tests at whizlabs.
This book is largely outdated. So by studying this you will not be able to clear the certification exam. But serves as a good intro book for aws services to some detail. I will defintely not recomend this book if your buying this with hopes it will be sufficent to clear the certification exam. This book can be a starting point if you are completely new to aws and you have some amount of technical background in cloud then this could be a good starting place.
