I signed up to receive a digital copy from NetGalley to use as just a sneak peak. I had already pre-ordered two copies for me and my daughter.
After reading through the digital copy I'm so excited for my physical copies to arrive. It's a hard thing these days to trust a book or author with your teenage daughter. Because that's what you are doing when you give them a book. With subjects like faith it can be especially tricky. I can't wait for my 16 year old to start her journey in this book. I'll be doing it alongside her because she asked me to. :)
I know that we will grow in our faith, and hopefully our gentle (not too deep cause some things should stay private) discussions will help us grow closer to each other too.
Just 5 devotions in to reading through this book I had laughed and cried. I was excited to get my copies just because I follow Sophie Hudson's blog, podcast and other books. After reading the content I'm beyond giddy to start this journey with my daughter.
I know it's geared for young women. The devotions are perfect for them. Full of wit, humor and sneaky wisdom. I also know as a 36 year old momma I got so much just from reading through them myself. So I'm really excited to see where God takes my daughter and I once we break out our pens and get to journaling along.

I'm giving this book of devotionals a full five stars after only browsing and skimming from cover to cover, but don't let that lessen the weight of my review. You see, the many days' I read in full were excellent. For each of the entries the author includes an engaging devotional, followed by a recommended daily Bible reading, and then lists several questions for the reader to respond to. It's a great way to get the Word in you in bite sized daily portions and to do so on a very relatable, thought provoking level. Hudson's ability to cut through any pretentious garbage and get real with her readers is evident from the very start. Her introduction gives a good sampling of her heart and humor, both which appear consistently throughout this book. It was this real down to earth approach I found so appealing. Because of this, I wanted to be able to write up a quick, yet completely honest review that still allowed me the opportunity to really dive in and soak up the book's goodness on a daily basis for the full 100 days there are entries for.

Thank you so very much to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with the review opportunity. I can't wait to spread the word about the All in All Journaling Devotional!

I have to state right up front that I LOVE a good journaling devotional. I like a book that helps me get my thoughts together, focus on God's word, and then think about how to apply it in my life. All in All Journaling Devotional by Sophie Hudson is the journaling devotional that can do all of those things. Hudson wrote this book to remind readers according to the back cover that "Jesus is the All in All--over all, through all, and in all that you do."

All in All contains 100 devotions designed to better learn and understand the Bible all while living the best life you can with Jesus in every day. Each devotion starts with a relevant reading from Hudson that truly relates to life in today's world. Each reading is followed by four questions to answer or activities to do to help you relate each devotoin to your own life. Then there is a larger space to write a prayer for each day. All in All was written primarily to young adult women, but I have to say, as a midlife woman, I found a lot of helpful devotions and thoughts in this book. There wasn't anything didn't make me think or learn something each day so I can't honestly say that I think it is a book that is defined for any certain age group.

I would recommend Hudson's All in All devotional journal to any woman who likes to read with Bible, devotional and journal in hand. I can't help but think any woman would benefit and grow in their Christian walk from reading All in All every day.

Sophie Hudson is a popular author and blogger who blogs at BooMama.net. I love that she has a playlist that you may enjoy on her blog that was created to go along with All in All: http://boomama.net/2017/08/01/please-....

I received All in All from the publisher, BH Publishing Group. I was not required to write a positive review in exchange for the book.

Sophie Hudson wrote a beautiful devotional which I can share with my teenage girl. Looking for a devotional of my own, I felt my daughter could use it as well. Many of the stories are relatable to her, while others are ones I connected with. It is packed with joyful expressions of motherhood, nostalgia, and humor in 100 days of journaling opportunities and scripture references.

My favorite day was Day 11 where she talked about arguing before church and not wanting to go. I can completely relate to this situation. It made me laugh in agreement.

"...whether it's an argument with someone we love, a moment when we've been caught acting less than our best, a gigantor misunderstanding with a sibling, or a time when we've felt a little betrayed, we really can bounce back. We can be better" (Hudson, 34).

Sophie has the reader reflect on lamentations and provides a journaling opportunity with response questions followed by writing out a daily prayer.

I believe the copper foil on the cover is a beautiful touch. The words inside are the same as the green-blue color on the cover. I recommend this devotional to any woman looking for a lighthearted and relatable text. The scripture references are relevant and great references.

I also recommend this devotional to high school seniors girls looking to dig deeper without the academic biblical approach.

"All in All Journaling Devotional" is a 100-day devotional for teenage girls. Each devotion takes about 5 minutes--it depends on how much time you spend answering the journaling questions. The author covered a wide range of issues, from sexual temptation to handling drama or stress. She had good advice which she delivered with humor and a lot of grace. She doesn't make the reader feel bad about not being perfect. I felt encouraged, loved, and accepted.

The author described events that happened in her life and used them as parables to illustrate a spiritual truth or showed how the situation helped her understand a spiritual truth. She sometimes quoted that day's Scripture verse but usually had you look it up. She also gives four questions to help you think through what she just said. My ebook copy didn't leave any space between the questions, but I think you're supposed to write answers either in the book or in your journal.

The author points the reader to Christ and encourages you to spend time getting to know Him better. She showed how you can find peace, love, and grace in Jesus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this devotional for teenagers, and I think tweens and even young adults would also enjoy it.

I received an ebook review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley.

I recently got a chance to start reading Sophie Hudson’s new journaling devotional All in All. This is the first devotional I’ve been drawn back to day after day. Even if I miss a day or two, I am drawn right back towards this devotional.

I’ve felt a strange amount of freedom in working through this devotional. The “lessons” are short. They pair a personal story, with scripture reading and a few questions. My favorite days have ended with writing out a scripture over the lesson before turning towards prayer.

With the amount of women bloggers I had seen posting about this devotional, I assumed it was written for women. And while I am still gleaning wisdom from these pages, I would say this devotional is written for older teen girls or college students. Much of what Hudson writes about speaks towards life in those years full of uncertainty.

Despite not being the specific demographic, I have enjoyed seeing scripture in this new way. I’ve answered questions that at first didn’t seem to apply towards the passage. Until I started to ponder, and upon reflection, I saw the connection and saw many things about my life and thought patterns in new ways.

This is one devotional that I see myself working towards finishing.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. This review is my own, honest opinion.

I really enjoyed working my way through this devotional book. I'm over 40 and it's geared more toward teens and young adults, but I found myself remembering what it felt like to go through those times of uncertainty and feeling alone even when surrounded by friendly people. I found the daily readings to be poignant and informative, as well as encouraging, uplifting, honest, and heart-felt. Sophie Hudson definitely has a great love for her audience and it shows in the way she conveys her message.
One thing I dislike about journaling devotionals is the lack of space for writing. I usually buy a separate journal to write in. This one gives enough room for my youngest daughter, but not enough for me. So if you know you're going to write a lot, I suggest getting a separate journal for that.
If you're a woman in your teens or 20s age range and you're looking for some godly direction, this book might be a good place to start.

Although this journal seems to be geared toward teenagers, adults can benefit from it also. Presented each day is a devotional with a bible verse to read and questions. The questions can apply to anyone. Some of them really makes you think and I feel it can help you take stock of situations in your life. Sometimes, we do not take the time to be honest with ourselves or to really think about situations we may be encountering. The questions may prompt you and help you reach a decision on various aspects of your life. I will be gifting this book to people I know. Yes, some of the questions may seem they are for teenagers, but even in our adult life we may struggle with some of the circumstances that the questions pose. Wonderful book!!! Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this gem of a book in return for my honest review.

VIBRANT & COMPELLING!!

This is a fantastic new Devotional Journal for young women. But don't kid yourself, it's appealing to women of all ages! As with all of her writings, Hudson blends her wonderful humor and personal stories with her deep understanding of the Scriptures to help her readers gain new insights. This Devotional is especially appealing because at the end of each of the 100 Entries, there are a set of questions for the reader to ponder on and a Journaling area for responses as well as any extra thoughts. The best thing about this book is you feel like you're sitting and talking with one of your best friend who just happens to be your Spiritual Mentor. I was provided an ARC by NetGalley and the Publisher. The opinions expressed here are completely my own. I also pre-ordered my own copy the day they became available.

I was honored to be on the launch team of this book and came on board late in the game. In the words of Sophie Hudson. YA'LL!! This 100 day devotional journal is simply amazing. It is targeted to girls in high school and college but as someone who is a bit older (ahem) it spoke to my heart. I have no biological daughters and you might not either. But if you do, buy two. You do it along with your daughter. Then talk about what you both are learning. Sophie speaks solid theology on salvation and shoots straight about the things facing young girls today. It'll be the best 100 days you spend.

Mrs. Sophie Hudson is a frequent speaker at retreats and church events. Her present day job is working with high school students.

This book is a 100-day devotional with room for comments and scripture writing. Sophie is a wonderful story teller and writer with a heart for high school and college students.

Recommended for purchase for the high school or college student in your life. This beautiful book would make an ideal birthday or Christmas present.

This journaling devotional book is perfect for any girls you know, from young teenagers to college aged students. As an adult, I also enjoyed it quite a bit. Sophie has always been a writer that I enjoyed and she delivers a good bit of humor in her passages, but also great references to today's challenges that we all may be facing. The passages and journaling questions are brief but to the point. I think that this book will be a great gift that I plan on sharing.

Even though this journaling devotional is targeted for teens and young adults, I read and completed the entire thing, and I'm a Grandma. Sophie's clear voice and warm words are welcome in this busy and challenging world for girls of any age. She shares personal stories, challenges us with scripture, and encourages us to live our lives as God intended - with HIM! She's very practical and this is very readable and relatable. I highly recommend this devotional, and plan to reread it again.

If you are looking for a devotional for a teen, college-age, or 20 something woman...this is it! This 100 page devotional is not just beautiful on the outside, but the words are beautifully written as well. Sophie Hudson is a wonderful author who seamlessly blends together humor and meaning in her writings. She is down to earth, in touch with young women, passionate about her faith, and hilarious. I have loved all of her books, but I am so excited for this devotional!!! My husband is a youth minister and I couldn't think of a more perfect gift for our seniors who are soon leaving for college. Sophie approached current topics and long standing issues in a comfortable manor that keeps from sounding too preachy or too much like the audience's mother. While there is an ebook version available I highly suggest the hard copy...there is nothing like the feel of a book in your hand. Pair it with your favorite pen for the perfect gift!

It didn't stop me from LOVING this devotional. So many days' passages were exactly what I needed! The format , her writing, the messages- One of my favorite devotionals !

I really loved the combination of personal essay, scripture, and introspective journaling. It connected me to the Scriptures in a way I hadn't before! Definitely better as a printed book, though — the galley had some formatting issues that made it a little more tedious to go through. So buy the physical copy!!
