Autobiography of the Strictly Come Dancing performer, Ola Jordan. After appearing for 10 years on the hit BBC show, Ola is now moving on and reveals all about her past in this book.

Jordan has been dancing since the age of twelve when her school advertised for a dance club. Before dancing with James Jordan, she had danced with John Lowicki in Poland. She won Poland's Open Championships in Poland.

Aleksandra "Ola" Jordan (née Grabowska; born 30 September 1982)[2] is a British-Polish professional ballroom dancer and model. She appeared as a professional on the British TV show Strictly Come Dancing from 2006 to 2015.

After winning a championship event in her native Poland, Jordan moved to England and began a new partnership with James Jordan. They married on 12 October 2003[3] and live near Maidstone in Kent.

On 5 September 2015, Strictly Come Dancing revealed Jordan would dance with sports commentator and Olympic medalist Iwan Thomas for the upcoming thirteenth series. They were the first couple to leave the competition on 4 October 2015. Shortly after their elimination Jordan announced this was to be her last series of Strictly Come Dancing as she would not be returning in the following series. She made her last appearance when she was featured in a group dance for the Series 13 Final.

In 2018, she became a judge on Dancing with the Stars: in Poland. After leaving Strictly, Ola and James have both starred in a variety of guest appearances. Including The Jump(where she was injured and had to have surgery), Bargain Hunt, All Star Mr and Mrs, Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

An eye opening autobiography , with being a fan of Strictly Come Dancing and admiring how the show seemed to be so organised and the BBC producers looked after the celebrities I was shocked of how they treated the pro-dancers.

The behind the scenes story are quite a shock, the dancers not being looked after as well as the celebrities. Ola was very open about her life, especially her health with weight problems, skin problems, suffering injuries, James health as well.

A great book, interesting and honest.

Although again written with a ghost writer to help.

I was looking forward to reading Ola's autobiography, after seeing her in Strictly and I am a celebrity get me out of here. The book provided a interesting look on Ola's life and her marriage to fellow strictly dancer James Jordan. I was unaware of the difficulties she faced on a personal level, but I admire the way she was able to talk about them in the book. She comes across as a lovely genuine lady.
The only criticism of this book is that the grammer was poor in places, and words not spelled correctly, I feel a proof reader was necessary, or if a proof reader was employed - then they definately need sacked!

Actually enjoyed this a lot more than expected. It was interesting to read about Ola's upbringing in the harsh life under communism in Poland, and her dreams to dance. Meeting James was a real rags to riches story, via teaching in Hong Kong and ending up on Strictly. The behind-the-scenes look at SCD was fascinating and put straight a lot of the gossip. However, I felt the book was very poorly edited. There were umpteen spelling mistakes, incidences of bad grammar, and even lots of missing words from sentences. I think this let it down.

Very enjoyable read.

One of my favourite professional dancers on my favourite show keeps up a good pace enabling me to finish this book in a short amount of time. Covering her early years as well as her time on the jump.
