Running from false murder accusations, renowned opera singer Annabelle St. Clair is forced to perform in saloons in order to support herself, until she meets a handsome gunslinger who promises her safe passage to San Francisco. Original.
I really enjoyed this story. It is different than any other historical romance I've read. There is some delightful dialogue, including extemporaneous bawdy limericks. I became mentally and emotionally involved in the story. The ending was satisfying.
