I really enjoyed this story. It is different than any other historical romance I've read. There is some delightful dialogue, including extemporaneous bawdy limericks. I became mentally and emotionally involved in the story. The ending was satisfying.

A bounty hunter escaping pain & an opera singer fleeing being framed.

I enjoyed the fun banter, empowering self defence & application as well as the compassion of the two main characters.
