Lawson Kent is a jackass of the highest order. Sure he’s got the face of a god and the body of a prisoner dedicated to pumping iron, but every time he’s in my way my blood boils. His obnoxious mug seems impossible to escape. So when we’re paired together to work on the community interaction project, we call a truce. In fact, the more I hang out with Lawson, the more it seems he really gets me. Not too many people do.
Lucky Madden is a mouthy piece of work. Yes, she’s gorgeous to a fault and that’s precisely why her overprotective, tatted up brother, Jet, pays me the big bucks to make sure none of the idiots at Whitney Briggs University land her horizontal. Only, too bad for me, Lucky Madden is the last person I want to hover over every free chance I get.
Then one night, she cuts the mouthy routine and does something far more productive with those lips, she kisses me. Now I can’t get Lucky Madden out of my mind. I’m addicted in every single way, and soon enough, the only person her brother will want to rip to pieces is me.

Lucky and Lawson were in it from the start. There's no way with the banter that they had together that feelings weren't forming. Their story was feisty and romantic! Lawson pulls the tough guy act and so does Lucky but they fall hard and fast for each other. Of course there's Jet, Lucky's brother who can intimidate any man and goes nuts when he knows what's going on! Tempers rise and feelings are hurt and confused. But in the end all is as it should be. No matter how many 3AM series there are I immediately get entranced by each individual story. They're all so different and Addison Moore's writing is infectious and always makes me waiting in anticipation for what's coming next! Another great work of art.
I can't take it anymore, this was just too childish, however I had to remember that they were in college, so this is the end of the road for me. Lucky was annoying, and a brat, it wasn't cute. And Lawson, was spineless..
The more of her books I read the more I love. Just the easy romance with not too much drama but just enough to keep you reading. Lucky and Lawson this couple is probably one of my favorites. Lucky had such a little spitfire attitude it was great to read. Lucky has spent a lot of her life to herself thanks to her brother Jet (yes that jet). Lawson is one who is always used to attention, basketball player. I liked to see characters from the other books in here :) It is a standalone like the others but I liked that I had read a lot of the others so I felt like I could keep characters straight better :)
What can I say about this book it was sweet, a little crazy at times but I’m glad Lawson and Lucky ended up together. They were both afraid of love because of their parents but they did manage to work it out after of course a big fight and staying away from each other. I am glad that all these books are tied to one another, it’s good to catch up with past couples.
The more I read Addison's work the more I'm in love with the characters. They wrap an invisible cloak around your heart keeping you close to them long after the words bleed off the page.
It's light, fun, exotic, at heartfelt, yet full of spunk. It hilariously funny yet so real it makes you feel you're apart of the story -Nook Books and More Blog.
Lucky and Lawson are an exceptional incredible couple. Lucky is a spitfire and that's not the half of it! She has a edge about her but maybe its because shes had such a troubled past that it has made her what she is.
She meets Lawson, handsome Lawson that doesn't just play basketball, he is definitely a player all around the board. lol Together they collide electrifying and beautiful full of sparks you desire in a book! Normally it's a type a guy you keep your heart away from.
The main characters of this book are hilariously funny, witty, and charming. The cluster of friends have a unique bond and explain the average lives and experience people endure. The story brings a true life experience out of it along with a love that's desirable in any eye.
I would highly recommend this series and really any book that this author has ever written . She pulls her heart in soul into her writing. She's impeccable in her writing skills let me tell ya! This series each book can be read as a standalone. It's refreshing when you're pushed for time.
Lucky Kisses the 12th book in the series and it doesn't get old. Cast of characters new and old shine. Leading us to reconnect with and stories look forward to. Lucky is a loner, never wanting to get close to anyone as they may leave her. Her overprotective brother Jet makes sure the guys stay at bay. But, college has not only offered lucky an escape from her brother but she has gained friends. Lawson is the hunky basketball star. As Lucky and Lawson exchange barbs and quips, their verbal sparring matches are epic. Sweet, Steamy Whiney Briggs here I come... I can't wait for the next book!
Lucky Kisses was such a fun read. I couldn’t stop laughing. Lucky and Lawson where made for one another. They brought out the best for each other. And I love going back to the Whitney Briggs gang.
Love Lucky and Lawson!!!! They were very easy to relate to for me so I was sucked in immediately. You have the cool trying to come off as easy going Lawson with his whit and his charm and then you feisty Lucky who is snarky and sharp. What happens when you use sarcasm to try and brush off attraction, you would be surprised that it is not laundry. This is the 12th book of the series and let me tell you this series never gets old they all suck you and and make you wish you were attending WB yourself. Addison does an amazing job of sucking you in and leaving you wanting more making adulting very very hard. Grab your copy now if you want to be lucky to fall in love with such an awesome series. This can be a stand alone, but highly recommend the others so you can fall in love with all of the great characters and stories that keep you coming back for more. Can not wait to see WB and the gang again!!!!
I could kind of careless for this book it was super cliched. Lucky is a girl who is a super depressed emotional bitch who likes to keep people at a super far distance. She has a speech impediment of sarcasm and gets annoying when everything that comes out of her mouth is either a lie or just rude, it bore me real quick. Lawson was your typical cocky jock who was kind of a pussy when it came to dealing with things up front, his character to me was very unattractive, on top of everything there was probably 3 scenes in this book of sexual intent that either didn't happen or was quick and not described really good. With all that being said the story was just too much I don't like how the college students imitate students from high school, lots of gossip on the girls part, and lots of whoring on the men's part. Not a fun book for me.
Poor Lucky. She has had quite the drama-filled life, which has in turn made her super cynical. Now eighteen and in her first year of college at Whitney Briggs U she is dealing with an over-protective big brother (the uber hot Jet), a best friend who has fallen in love (Ava), another best friend who's boyfriend is a tool (Harper), a whole gang of meddling friends and Lawson Kent, the sexy but obnoxious frat brother who she can't seem to get rid of and isn't sure she wants to.
I honestly haven't met an Addison Moore character I didn't like (even the murderous Audrey had some redeeming qualities) in this series. That being said, Lucky and Lawson drove me nuts. Not that that was a bad thing. Trust me. It wasn't. It made for a highly entertaining and unputdownable read. When Lucky and Lawson are together on the pages of this book, you never know what you're going to read. It like magic torture.
Addison Moore gives us another fun look into the lives of the Whitney Briggs crew with her trademark snark and endearing characters, giving us the fun and emotional story of Lucky and Lawon. While Lucky and Lawson may not be my favorite of all the characters (because really, no one can top Jet and Daisy), their story is one of my favorites. It was possibly the most honest of all the books in this series and with all that Lucky has gone through in her life, you can't help but love her and you can't help but love Lawson for not giving up (sort of)... :)
While it was a sweet story, there were a few things that bothered me: 1) Since the beginning, a book mentions a lot of names. After I was done reading, I realised this book is twelfth (Twelfth!) in the series but still. I don't like to be confused. 2) This may have something to do with number 1 but I didn't like how every person mentioned was in love. I know this is college or something but there are single people you know. Not everybody in college has a girlfriend/boyfriend and needs to be in a relationship. It's like the author didn't want single people in the book. 3) So everything is happening in Greek sorority and while I am not American and don't know a lot about sororities, I have to say I didn't like how the sororities had been connected as some sort of sisterhood/brotherhood. For example, Lawson was a "big brother" to Harper and Lucky was a "little sister" to Rex. But due to 1) I was very confused when people were mentioned and described as someone's sister. Like..is this a relative or sorority? 4)Her brother is so overprotective. Very, very protective. *spoiler* He beat up Lawson after he discovered Lawson and Lucky are sleeping together. And he paid him to keep other guys away from her because he couldn't.
Due to this 4 reasons (the first three are actually the main reasons) I am giving this book 3 stars.
The characters were well-developed. Sassy Lucky and arrogant Lawson who we actually met in the previous two books (but are not dependent upon reading the previous novels to enjoy this novel which can be read as a standalone even though I would suggest starting at the beginning of the series and enjoying getting to know and love the residents of Hollow Brooke). Lucky and Lawson can't possibly want a loving, committed relationship so it's a good thing neither of them believes such a thing exists. Read along to see how their journey through the first year of Lucky's schooling at Briggs University orbiting Lawson Kent, their respective friends, and respective siblings grow and change. If you love the writings of Addison Moore, sassy but flawed female leads, arrogant but flawed male leads. You'll enjoy this book. This has been one of my favorite books of the series. I enjoy Addison Moore's writing style so much I'm working my way through not only this series but through her other series and standalones as well.
I couldn't stop put this book down once I started reading it. Lucky had a rough childhood and felt like she would never get out of her brother's eyesight. Lawson doesn't believe in love after his mom up and left him and his siblings. The moment Lucky and Lawson meet sparks begin to fly, but they don't want anything to do with each other. As time goes on Lucky and Lawson begin to form a type of friendship until one day things go further. After that day Lucky feels like Lawson doesn't care about her and runs. Is Lawson truly in love with Lucky like she is with him?
This is one of my favorite series because each book is their own so you can read them in whatever order or just read one here and there. The best part is all the characters tie together in one way or another. It makes the book you read previously fit together. It also lets you see how the other couple was after their story was over and so forth. I love the banter between Lucky and Lawson, but you know they are going to work right from the start. This series never gets old for me because Addison Moore has a way of making each characters relationships different.
A college romance in a series that consists of nearly 20 books! I may have read one of the early books a few years back, but can’t really remember the characters. There are lots of characters in this book - I’m sure each of the couples have starred in their own book along the line (somewhere...). So to a 3:am series newbie like me I found myself a bit lost towards the start keeping up with who was with who. But don’t let that deter you. The protagonists are great and loveable in this enemies to lovers romance.
This story, along with the others in the series, will have you cracking up at certain moments, crying a little here & there -from either sadness or joy. It'll also have you on the edge of your seat, unable to put it down, until you know how everything turns out. I loved Lucky Kisses. I loved getting to know Jet, Lawson, & Lucky a little more. And, more than anything, I loved how Lucky & Daisy's relationship progressed.
I have enjoyed all of the books from the 3:AM series. I have read them out of order but am still able to enjoy each one separately as well as remember how they flow together. I had a bit of a hard time with the timing at the very beginning of the story and following the story at first, however; it came together the more I read and turned into a good read after all. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
When you are an adolescent and you are attracted to someone all you know how to show it is to pick on them. I guess it's still the attitude when you are older as well, you use this as your I don't want to be hurt, so you protect your heart the only way you can. Works for a while, then Lucky and Lawson had to fess up. A good read, lots of ups and lowes.
This novel had a lot of good moments, a lot of sweet moments, and a lot of amazing moments that just brought a warm smile to my face; however, there were the times were it would lull and I would think about placing it down in favor of another, but in the end I'm glad I stuck it out and finished it.
Not my favorite book in this series, but still pretty good. I think we've all been there...being an ass/bitch to someone because you think you don't like them ..only to find out you more than like them. And then, things get complicated.
Really enjoyed Lucky and Lawson's story! Loving Lucky's sass and how Lawson takes it in stride and even gives it back to her. These two have a chemistry, but Lawson is keeping a secret from Lucky. Hopefully Lucky can forgive him for what he's done.
Addison Moore does it again. 3AM Kisses is by far the best series I have read & even out of order you can follow along. Lucky & Lawson have by far been my fav couple with their snarkiness!
This is another great read from Addison. The more I read this 3 AM series the more I love. This one with make you laugh out loud and cry a few tears. Totally a great read.
I might have enjoyed this book more if I was 18 or 20 but at my age it's a bit too juvenile for me. The characters are too over the top and the banter is childish. It also doesn't help that I listened to it with virtual voice narration which absolutely sucks.
Wow! Powerful, love, a wee bit of violence but worth the read, love this series would love to see more of it as all the couples continue to grow in their lives.
