After skimming trough this book I found that it a good reference for deploying most of the popular services and products on centos, it is indeed very lean, it includes a lot of basic stuff but even for that basic stuff, only essential info is included and this is something that I especially like. Also if you know most of the stuff in this book, it is still useful as you can easily find info about what you don't know well as all the content in this book follows a very strict and easy to understand template.
