Έχοντας διαβάσει άλλο ένα βιβλίο του συγγραφέα, το οποίο με είχε τραβήξει πολύ, αναζήτησα και βρήκα σε δεύτερο χέρι το βιβλίο αυτό (καθότι εξαντλημένο) και το ξεκίνησα με πολύ θετική διάθεση. Ομολογώ ότι άργησε να «ρολάρει», κυρίως μέχρι την ένταξη της δικής. Στη συνέχεια είχε πιο στακάτο ρυθμό και κύλησε πιο ομαλά.

Σε ό,τι αφορά την πλοκή είχε μια ενδιαφέρουσα τροπή με μια κορύφωση η οποία ήταν κάπως αναμενόμενη αλλά αποτυπώθηκε με ενδιαφέρων τρόπο.

Σκοπεύω να συνεχίσω με το 2ο βιβλίο της σειράς, σε κάθε περίπτωση ήταν ένα καλοστημένο δικαστικό θρίλερ, το οποίο μου ταίριαξε εν μέρει

Always love Turow-best legal thriller writer ever. This one was a little too similar in plot to Presumed Innocent but I probably should've known that by the title.

I found this book to be choppy and harder to follow. I have read other Turow books which were better but this was one of the first. I figured out the whodunit...
