Excellent writing.
Excellent theme.
Huge suspense.
Great one !
Kiyon roy, mister bestselling writer wrote about erotica and lived his story with one girl other than his long term girlfriend.
His girlfriend took revenge with him by same kind of thinking of Kiyon.
Wrote novel on the basis of the revenge game led by her.

Remember 'Aitraaz'? This book is 'Aitraaz' but nobody saves Akshay Kumar for a change. The characters also unironically use terms like 'soul arousing' and such.

Times have changed, but someone hasn't. Good job, Boroline Chakraborty. (You still royally suck!)

This one goes into my self-harm pile.

Black suits you by Novoneel Chakraborty. An erotica thriller. After the continues success of his romantic thrillers this one is a real thriller can compare to any just doesn't moves you away till the last.

Says about the Debut best selling author and his girl Anaysha an normal IT Girl. They both in relationship for five years and once his novel reaches the success he cuts their relationship because of Seduction or the gift he gets from Kasthi.

Other words Kasthi just snatched Anaysha's boyfriend into her bf. What's the gift? How Kasthi made full stop to 5yr relationship in 9weeks? What's the life trying to teach Kiyan Roy, who's in the top with fame of Mr. Best selling author. What did Anaysha does as revenge?

Explore this novel to continues twists and turns, the narration in the speed that can't get you out of pages and meanwhile characterization or language its just simple as in very own Novoneel Chakraborty sir's writing.

Ever wonder how could be an life of author? How pressure to write manuscript in particular time? How could be an best selling author's personal life would be in? What if an author started living in the story?

Read Black suits you to know, how his very own story betrays his whole life? Where did it went wrong and what were the consequences.

My take for enthralling novel is 4/5.

P.S- ADULT content - only meant for 18+. This is erotica psycho thriller.

Until a few days ago, I had never heard of Novoneel Chakraborty, a famous author in India. When I came to know about his fame and his national bestselling books, I decided to give this book, 'Black Suits You' a try. So how was the book? Did I like it? - Not exactly! But no doubt, this book is a real page-turner. I started reading the book last Saturday night. I intended to read just a few pages that night to experience the writing style. But surprisingly I found myself going through one-fourth of the book. By then, it was way past midnight. So I called it a night and went to sleep. The next two days I got busy with other stuff. Finally today I have finished reading the rest of the book.

'Black Suits You' is divided into three parts. I found part 1 promising, part 2 boring, and part 3 filled with weak and predictable twists, poorly written explanations of the plot. Yes, I enjoyed reading this book to some extent, but overall didn't like it at all!

Black Suits You is my first read by Navoneel Chakraborty. I didn't have high expectations from this book and it did take me by surprise. I didn't enjoy the first half of the book at all, mostly because of the terrible characters. The suspense kept me going,

The last 100 pages were the best part for me. There were a lot of surprises that I didn't see coming. This book is definitely a better thriller than an erotica.

This story was at velocity of rocket. Enjoyed the whole book.

(Though since yesterday I'm in a sadistic mode since i heard about Abrar, who is dead by brutally beaten by student league)

This book led me to an amazing journey, what i never explored. Language and words are so cool & easy to understand. May be It's because writer & me both are Bengali.

This is an well entertaining book.

Black Suits You by Novoneel Chakraborty is a mysteriously dark and thrilling love story of Kiyan Roy, a twenty-seven-year-old author. With his bestselling erotica trilogy, Handcuffs, Kiyan has gained a lot of fame and fan following but he has always been an anonymous face.

This mysterious admirer follows Kiyan across the cities, book events, hotels, and media interviews. This secret girl seduces him the way it is done in Kiyan’s novels.

Towards the mid of it, the protagonist Kiyan gets obsessed with her. Soon Kiyan is trapped in this twisted love affair. Gripped in the dark romance and a secret gift, Kiyan loses controls on his life and career while this girl leads him down a dangerous path.

We won’t roll in the spoilers. So, you must read it till the end to find out whether Kiyan rectifies his mistakes or his path to desire end in doom. Novoneel’s book, Black Suits You, cleverly reveals ...see review

To say about this book, reading it was a page turning experience. Exactly what I needed and what I expected. There are twists and turns, shocks and surprises, but at places the plot was a bit guessable. So it is a mix of everything.
It is true, that to become a successful writer, the author needs to experience the story, this is where the creative mind comes into play. But this is not that easy, to guess a characters reaction and to present it as naturally as possible is not such an easy task, it requires a lot of patience and observations based on the surroundings. But in this story, experiencing the story, was shown as something else, it was fun to think that even such an angle is possible, opened my mind to a lot of new prospects. Overall it was good, but the ending could be a bit more, the story was superb, and enticing, but the ending has pulled down the whole reading experience….😩
Coming to my rating : out of 5 stars
Title :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cover :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ a very attractive cover indeed.
Character development :⭐️⭐️⭐️
Writing style :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the expressions, the characters, the emotions, we’re all clearly imaginable.
Originality :⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Plot :⭐️⭐️⭐️ as I’ve already mentioned it was an enticing tale
Overall : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ the overall rating goes to 3 stars. One star less for the ending 😅

***Spoilers ahead***

The protagonist, an author who has just finished a trilogy of erotica (named Handcuffs), is on a book tour celebrating its success. Incidentally Novoneel himself has published a trilogy of novels.

A fan chases (stalks/flirts/panders/proffers herself to) the author across the country wherever he goes, and never forgets to call him "mister bestselling author". The publisher asks the author for the next idea for his book.

He says that the next book he is going to write is about a fan who chases (stalks/flirts/panders/proffers herself to) the author on his book tour wherever he goes. He is almost certain that he would write it but wasn't just sure if he could name the protagonist as mister bestselling author. Or may be he should settle for bestselling author, coz as much as the author wants to make it another trilogy, the girl can't keep calling him mister mister bestselling author.

So unbelievably, unapologetically Meta. I wonder how people could write such things. I also wonder whether Novoneel has already written the book the protagonist in this book promised his publisher, or if he will write that one as his next one as promised to his real publisher. I lost track of reality/fiction for a moment here.

***Spoilers end***

Even as a work of erotica, this is too sappy, and isn't nearly half as dirty as I like my erotica to be.

It's a poorly written erotica and it's not a thriller at all. The target group of this book might be teenagers or at max, college-goers considering the amount of fantasy the novel has in it. The protagonist seems to be too dumb a guy to be a best-selling author. It seems that he has no ability to see things beyond what is in front of his eyes.

The author has used the same formula that brought him success in one of his books "Ex". Putting old wine in new bottle, unfortunately, did not work here.

Though it didn't get my nerves as much as Stranger Trilogy, the book is quite appreciable. It surely will keep us gripped to the tale, and the climax has got its own touch!!

The last book I read by the same author was the book #3 of Starnger trilogy and it disappointed me, whole series was perfect but somehow author managed to ruin it in the end. But still that series was the reason why I picked this book. So coming down to this book, the story was good and I get it what the author wanted to tell, the artistic freedom and the boundries and all but somehow I didn't like the book. There are too many plot holes that I don't think are good for the story. The protagonist is best seller author of a erotic trilogy but he some how managed to not see what was happening too him? An underage girl conned him and he couldn't tell whether she was 18+ or not? Story starts at good point but then dipped in the middle and the picked up again for a little bit but after that I just managed to finish it somehow. Would recommend it for one time read but some of the quotes are excellent and that's why giving it 3 stars. Although Novoneel's writing style is different and it's something fresh and good for Indian readers but i hope he could do better, something like the first two books of Starnger Trilogy.

Frankly speaking I HATED IT! Though it was a page turner. I finished the last 150 pages of the book in 2 hours. In a way it's unputdownable but in the same way a trainwreck is. It is hard to look away from. The characters are as usual horrible. Earlier I reviewed best couple ever, which was written by the same author. At least that had some interesting characters . The writing is so so sloppy. There are several grammatical mistakes throughout the book.
The main protagonist of the book is such a coward. Kiyan ray is horrible. Why would you write a protagonist like that? The author gives himself way more credit than he actually deserves. There is a repeated line in the book where the protagonist is addressed by bestselling author who also happens to have been famous for writing a trilogy, in the same way like Novoneel Chakraborty. I never hears of him before kolkata book fair 2019. The shelves were filled with his books and I curiously bought two of them. I don't know if this sh.t is a real life story or not. But if it is a real life story, I am genuinely worried about novoneel chakraborty 😎😎

Quote from the Book I Liked -
With new realisations, the old promises fade.
With new desires, the old self, transforms.
With new emotional pursuits, the old miles lose significance.

Stars - 3.5/5

Black Suits You is a gripping, fast-paced and a clever psychosexual thriller that will keep you guessing until the end.

About The Book- This was my first psychological erotic thriller. At first, the book feels like a romantic drama, but as the pages flip it becomes more of an erotic thriller. Our protagonist is 'Mister Best Selling Author' of a hit Erotic Trilogy and stays away from Social Media, but during his book events he encounters and chases a Mysterious Girl throughout his Book Tour. Later on, he Discovers that he has been trapped in a Serious lecherous Evil Plan. After around 230 pages the story takes a Sharp twist enough to blow your mind away.

Verdict - Overall this book makes you stick to the last page and makes the reader guess the story, as the ending according to the reader will change with every page.

While reading this book you will realise there can be so many conotations to the simple statement that names the book title. Be warned it is a mild erotica, just so that you are aware (honestly i did not before starting) so if it is not your forte it might tarnish your opinion of the book. The story is about love, betrayal and entrapment but there is a underlying mystery throughout the book that will make you turn the pages. Many elements pop up that leave you wondering what the hell is happening but it all ties together commendably in the climax and the end is truly a surprise. It has dark shades but not the kind that leave you depressed days after you have finished reading. Overall a good, racy read, a good way to spend a weekend.

I liked the type of story. It is like a story in a story(kind of inception like). The author has really brought forward a very good story and I will definitely recommend it as a romantic thriller to someone looking forward to read this genre.

I am so in love with the author.. he is perfectly amazing .. the cover of this infatuated me to pick this book..but i do not regret .. rather it was my first novel of thriller genre and after this i read all book of this author n other of thriller genre too.. the story in the starting is subtle complicated where the story is going on in present and in some pages it is titled a girls diary. Where everything is described in past.but once readers are cleared that there are two girls in the story it becomes really interesting and indulging. The story is about kiyan and anaysha 's happy relationship which just ends due to the seduction. Kashti , the other girl , who snatched kiyan from Anaysha presented kiyan a GIFT. That gift was like a chain to cage kiyan for ever. The last part of the story totally sent shivers down my spine when the truth about kiyan ( lead character) is revealed. What was this gift that kashti gave kiyan?? Was kiyan really infatuated with kashti and ended relation with anaysha himself or was he forced? Many twists awaits for you in this book. This book won't let go go away..it will surely grab your attention till the end. Read this to discover the dark truths of the characters and especially of Mr. Bestselling Author , kiyan .. must read book..

Novoneel sir surprises with his writings. After reading I am not in my correct senses, still gasping for breath because the book was so psychosexual thriller that I couldn't stop finishing it in one go. As usual this book is also superb. After stranger trilogy, Black Suits You is also another story. It will take you to a SEXUAL, THRILLER, SUSPENSE roller coaster ride. Just sit on this ride and feel the thrill and excitement, an urge to start and finish this un-putdownable book. I was not thinking about anything else rather than this book while reading.
My rating is full out of full for this extraordinary psychosexual thriller.
Highly Highly recommend to all readers and to also those who don't read books.
I am sure they will start reading the books after they read this one.

*Spoiler alert*
The closure in the end is not convincing enough. It has been shown that Anaysha used to write stuff down in her journal. What I fail to understand is that if Kashti and Anaysha were really together in the entire game plan against Kiyan, then why would she write negatively about her in her journal to begin with?
Besides, some things remained unexplained even at the end of the story. For instance, why did Kiyan keep hearing the doorbell the night he and Kashti was making love in their flat. The author somehow missed explaning this part.
Overall, I didn't enjoy the story as much as I though I would. It is definitely a page turner, but leaves you disappointed and dissatisfied in the end.

The new book "Black Suits You" much waited to read from months. When i got copy i didn't sleep that night to read it. I found interesting part was Girl's dairy. It started with Kiyan's new book release tour there he was seduced by one Girl and gifted an mind blowing gift to Kiyan later he realised it was a trap. You can go for this book for the climax which was unexpected and thrills you.

Conclusion: Starting was little boring - later on - author makes you arouse your sexual hormones-twist-thrills- unexpected climax.
Novoneel was best in writing romantic thriller. For the climax i gave 3 stars.
Happy reading!

Novoneel has surely mastered the thriller genre but this book being into a psychosexual thriller, got a bit less brownies from me. I have loved the way this guy weaves the plots and makes each of his books unput-down-able.
Apart from the erotic part, i have loved the plot. Somewhere in start, I felt that the story resembles to Durjoy Dutta's The Girl of My Dreams, but I was relieved to know that it did not. I enjoyed reading it but missed signature one liners. Novoneel has nailed that section absolutely so far. Looking forward for its resuming.
Next book awaited.
