Don’t cry for me beautiful. I’m not worth it. I was never worth it. I should have left you alone that night. If I had, none of this would have happened. I would likely be dead, but you my angel, you would have at least been happy. I want to tell Jada this, but I can feel the plastic tube running down my throat. If I think about it for too long, I gag. I am useless. I can’t comfort Jada, but as always I can find a way to hurt her. This. This is what you deserve. So just lie here and take it, Chase. I tell myself this truth over and over until it solidifies in my mind.

I really enjoyed this book!
This story is about 2 years before Roman's and Sora's story. Chase meets Jada while she is taking care of his father. Their attraction is immediate and strong. Soon after, their relationship turns from just physical to romantic. As their relationship grows, Jada gets pregnant and they secretly marry. Chase is still apart of the Chained Angels so he has to keep her and their relationship a secret. Chase makes promises and tries his hardest to keep them until Iron Head finds out about their relationship. The head of the gang threatens to kill Jada if Chase does not leave her. Chase has to make the decision to leave for her and his child's safety. Definitely heart breaking.
While Chase is gone, Jada has to deal with crap from her over protective and nosey parents. They also try to push a family friend, Dexter, on her. Jada is better than me, because baby, I wouldn't put up with any of that.
There are times where I wanted to yell at my iPad, "Shut up, Jada! Stop being so stubborn and get yo man!!" and "Chase, tell her the damn truth already!!". I'm really happy that it all worked out in the end. The epilogue was just cute and funny.
I hope to read a story about Alec and Nikki.

This reads like a summary of a much larger book.
I love the fist book in this series, so I was anticipating Chase's story. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.
I'm unsure is Ms. Mackenzie has ever written a story that alternates between the past and the present.
The past isn't fleshed out, which makes the relationship seem facile. I don't know why Chase and Jada love each other. They like to have sex, and Jada gets to be charge but there's not much else.
The present starts at a good pace and then picks up speed. The ending is rushed and jammed with repetitive internal and external dialogue.
I think the book might have been better she had written it in two parts. She might have spent more time showing Chase and Jada's interactions rather than telling them. It all feels rushed.
The epilogue...???
Lastly, there are continuity issues and comma splices.

I can't believe I had this book on my Kindle for so long and kept bypassing it. I finally saw the error of my ways and quickly began to rectify this situation. Ms. Mackenzie did an outstanding job with this story. It held my attention from beginning to end and I could not wait to finish and reflect upon what I had read. Despite it's fast pace, the author gave you a complete picture of this couple and what led to their HEA. I think it would have been even better if the author had included what led up to Chase being hospitalized to complete the circle of friendship with "Beast" as a reminder to readers. All in all, this was a very satisfying read that I recommend and look forward to whatever release this author puts forth. Job well done Ms. Mackenzie.

Wow! His Atonement Was Profoundly Amazing!
Camille,Camille, Camille, oh my goodness lil lady! The story that just won't quick ringing in my head and throbbing in my heart. I knew Chase would have to prove his worth to Jada. And I also knew the spitfire in her would not just roll over and let him lead her by the tits... What I did not expect was Chase having to literally grovel and basically let Jada and Myles go in order to get them back. I am always ready to kick butt when a stand in tries to be the real deal. Dexter was the stand in, the place keeper. I needed him to get the message sooner. I was about to do a fly-by to get him on the same page. Fortunately,Jada saw the light and gave him the heave ho! The back story with Jada's family, Roman and Sora was a nice touch. The Epilogue had me laughing out loud... Nice closure for both couples. So I guess we'll see Myles and Ava's story next? Bravo Ms. MacKenzie!

I read this book with Kindle Unlimited. I loved this author's first book.
Whist this had a good story-line, I did not enjoy the backwards and forwards from the past to the present. This could be for me, there was too much narrative and not enough dialogue between the couple. Every time that Chase informs Jada he wants to talk, she never gives him the opportunity and just cuts him off. If your man walked away from you and then shows up again, would you not you want to know ASAP what happened and why he left, even if you were still mad at him? This would mean you would need to let the man explain himself. Way too much narrative and not enough conversation between the couple.
I felt the story was too dragged out for what it was. Definitely worth a read.

3 stars. Again - solid installment in the series. I like these IR/Biker romance novels and am in search for a really GREAT one. The back story in this was better then the first but I (personally) like more involvement with the MC life. Maybe its a research issue with some authors, who knows?! Overall, good story. Still with you Ms. Mackenzie, keep 'em coming.

Chase and Jada's Forever Love
I enjoyed reading Chase and Jada's story. We met Chase in Roman and Sora's story and knew he had secrets and this story tells us all about Chase and his secret life. Chase and Jada together was like fireworks and they both thrived and were better people together. Jada feeling overwhelmed and dismissed by her past relationships and her family was given strength and a voice with Chase. While Chase was given a reason to be better and expect better than a life with the Chained Angels. Chase and Jada became a family with Myles and that's what they both needed. Their own family and friends. Definitely a good read.

Good read
I love that this author brings something different to the table. Her female lead in this book was a strong woman dealing with family problems and although the people in her life upset you I love the ending. Also in this book The female is more dominant in the bedroom but Chase is alpha enough to let her take what she needs. Great read.

Best. Epilogue. Ever!
Comfortably settling in to this series! Book one took my breath away. This installment made my heart twinge, and I clutched my pearls at the swoony, angsty chemistry of Chase and Jada. The layered reveals in both epilogues of book one and book two are a thing of wistful beauty.

Wonderful story!!!
I love Chase and I love how much he loves Jada. His actions did cause a lot of hurt, doubt and insecurities with Jada but it was because of his great love for Jada and his unborn child he chose that path. So glad they were able to forgive and move forward as a family. I especially liked the epilogue.

This was a great story. I loved it !!! And I loved how the future was told at the end. The typo's are what kept this book from being a 5 star story. Please keep the good stories coming

Heart warming!
Jada and Chase have great chemistry and I enjoyed reading this book. Ms. McKenzie tells their story in a way that draws you into their world. Great job on the second book.

Doesn’t Disappoint
I love how this books picks right back up where it left off. I kind of knew her friend was the one that let the cat out of the bag but he was selfish in thinking he could move in on her. I’m glad she finally found her voice!! Great book I read it in 1 hrs

Sweet, beautiful story of second-chance love. Chase and Jada's story continued from Broken; they fought hard for their HEA and I enjoyed every single word.

I really enjoyed Chase and Jada’s story. Lots of heartbreak. Lawd. But their chemistry was something else. The epilogue has me dying laughing. Too cute!
