Linda Castillo is the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Kate Burkholder mystery series, set in the world of the Amish. The first book, Sworn to Silence, was adapted into a Lifetime original movie titled An Amish Murder starring Neve Campbell as Kate Burkholder. Have been reading the Kate Burkholder series by Linda Castillo for years. However gave this one a try and it was riveting could put it down read is less the 24 hours. A great suspense.

Linda Castillo never disappoints

As a long-time fan of Linda Castillo's Kate Burkholder series, I searched for something of hers to read after I devoured An Evil Heart. I thoroughly enjoyed In the Dead of Night. Mystery, suspense, and love. Awesome read! Now onto another Castillo novel!

A very good story that transcends 20 years! I loved the setting and could picture it clearly. Another of Castillo’s ability to make one feel a kinship with the characters. Don’t miss this read. I promise you’ll love it!

Couldn't finish even on a long airplane ride. Seemed real bad so I only read half way which is unusual for me. Left on the plane for someone else to suffer through!

Not a bad mystery until the heroine does something totally idiotic. A guy she suspects is connected to the murders asks to meet her. So rather than meet in a public place, she offers to meet him at her murdered parents' abandonded house. Say what? Okay, I know the author wanted to make the whole showdown dramatic, but it was ridiculous. Meet the guy at a coffee house, a mall, somewhere public! Not in a place where it would be easy for him to kill you. Gah!

This is the first of Linda Castillo's books that I have read that was not from the Kate Burkholder series. It was an easy, quick read. Part mystery, part romance! It held my attention to the end, and I'm sure I will read more of her books (not in the Kate Burkholder series) in the near future!

Fast paced

Fast paced. Good story. Holds your attention. Another good Linda castillio book. This is not a Kate Burkholder book but still very good
