It didn't speak to me at all with the parallels to gardening and how the personal anecdotes were used as metaphors for very simple concepts.
I found myself skipping and just not wanting to read entire sections because of this. I simply wanted to get to the actual content and reason for picking up this book in the first place.

A charming, quick read which correlates making a creative process with keeping a garden. This is a useful memory device for recalling the suggested exercises. I read a couple of daily-practice books each month and few of them stick my mind like this "garden book" -- recommended!

I am not an artist. I was drawn to this book by the beautiful cover design and the idea of developing my own creativity for writing projects. However, I soon learned that this book is a manual for artistic creativity and design. It is beautiful to read, punctuated with stories from Fabrizio's life as a person and artist. It is inspiring - I am not an artist yet I want to pick up a pencil or some charcoal and sketch!
The images are clear and even in kindle format are beautiful to look at. The writing accompanying the images is informative and as appealing as the art itself.
I was pleasantly surprised by this and although it is aimed at artists rather than writers, some if the ideas mentioned can translate over!

Quick read

Enjoyable, especially as it relates art and creativity to gardening. Will revisit again to see what grows from these seeds
