Love is a fire that needs to be fed.

Kal Wildfire roams the Burning Sands with no memory of who he is or how he got there. A desert witch will set him on the path to regain his identity and to find what he truly needs.

Thalia Thistledown is a shy, beautiful young woman living in a warren of other rabbit shifters in the Hartglade Forest. But in the blink of an eye she will lose everything as a marauding army of snake soldiers mercilessly destroys everything she holds dear.

As their paths cross, Kal will need Thalia's help to complete his journey to recover his memory and powers. Thalia will need Kal's help to find new purpose in a world where she has lost everything. And they will need to work together to stop the plans of a demon and two dragon shifters determined to tear the world apart and remake it in their image.

Along the way, they will learn that sometimes a flower of hope grows from the ashes of tragedy, and sometimes you have to forget who you were to realize who you really want to be.

Dragon Red: A Fire Unfed is the second book in the Dragonlords of Xandakar series. It has a happy ending and a little bit of steam, and you won't be lost if you haven't read the first book.

Dragon Red: A Fire Unfed
The Dragonlords of Xandakar #2
By Macy Babineaux

Wow I had no idea what I sign up for when I received offer from the Author.. I started to like The Dragonlords of Xandakar series in the last book.. But holy smokes I fell in love with this world in this book.. You will find Magic, betrayal, manipulation, demons, & unexpected romance & so much more all in one small book..

This was Kal's & Thalia story, & the story pick up where Dragon Blue ended. We of course have their POV, but yet we also have Nevra & Marko POV. Which help us see all perspectives. The plot has all kinds of twists & turns – So I do not want to give too much away

Kaladon Wildfire: is next in line to being king, since he is the eldest son of Karth- Prince of the Red Dragons...
Kal is betrayed by his own brother & also is poisoned by this same brother Marko… Kal has lost his memory & his ability to shift. He wake lost in the desert & A witch sets Kal on the right path to get where he needs to go & what he needs to do to get himself back to his home & kingdom .On his journey he meets Thalia.. Kal hesitant about letting her tag long

Thalia whole life is turn upside down, when snake shifters destroy her whole village. If not for Kal saving her life she would have been kill as well. Thalia is now alone in the world.. Thalia doesn’t know how to repay Kal for saving her life. Lost without anyone else Thalia start to follow him on his journey, only to safe him more times than I can count

You of course have dragon shifter, but what surprised me was the author match “H” with Rabbit shifter.. Now the question is what will happen to these 2 shifters once the dragon shifter regains his memory?

At times it’s so funny watching these two interact.. Thalia the Rabbit shifter saves the big bad dragon shifter, only for Kal to act like nothing happen, like he could’ve did it without her help

I love way of keeping glue to pages & just when you thought you were done she snaps you back to reality & draw you in for her next book in her Epilogue

I cannot wait to read the next book in the series! I would highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance lover. People who like paranormal romance will like this story.

I had not read the first book so I used this as an opportunity to learn about the world and the characters in that world. It was written beautifully and I enjoyed the characters and how they interacted with each other and how the author made me a part of their minds workings . I felt it allowed me to understand the characters on a much more personal level.

Really enjoyed Kal and Thalia's journey across Xandakar to regain what was lost to Kal and find what might be Thalia's future after the loss of her entire family. There was lots of cruelty, dark magic, and nefarious plots unfolding along the way. But Kal and Thalia held to an instinctive trust and loyalty to forge on. My fav? Thalia made Kal a better man by being herself. This read was a much more emotional feel to me, full of loss of family and betrayals.
Still, there is evil lurking in the shadows (or hanging in a prison cage). And its not just that b!*@h Nevra! Am looking forward to how all the prophecies come together.
And this epilogue...oh, Miranda, your dreams!! Tell Corban, please!!

Omg another great book. This was Kal's and Thalia story.
Kal is poisoned by his brother who you remember from the first book as Marko. Marko takes his memories and his ability to change into his dragon. Kal is put on the right path by a witch she tells him where he needs to go and what he needs to do to get himself back. Along the way he runs into Thalia just as some snake shifters destroy her whole village. Thalia is now alone in the world buy she feels she needs to repay him for saving her. As there journey continues they begin to have feelings for each other. When Kal gets his memories back will be be in time to stop his brother? Will he be able to keep Thalia or will be have to let her go? Omg I loved this book I'm so looking forward to the next one.

Mini Spoilers -- Nothing Crazy!

Chapter 4 & on---> I was hooked. Once Kal decided he liked Thalia for her tenacious spirit and decided she could tag along I was in it! Especially when she let him know he passed his desired location a day ago. Great way to wrap up the chapter (mini cliff hanger)

I already feel for the "bad guy" Marko. Macy made him likeable by illustrating his conscious. He's not some ruthless bad guy with a grudge but a remorseful brother who wanted to unite his kingdom. This doesn't make him forgiveable but it's refreshing to not have some socio Pathic megalomaniac with no logical motives whatsoever aka Donald trump ;-)
I digress lol

The characters are well developed and to the point. You get a sense of who they are and their POVs right away.

Halfway through & it's getting juicy!!

In the end you don't know what's going to happen to who and where, element of surprise.

I would've wanted more romance throughout the story. The relationship between Kal & Thalia developed smoothly over time (slow burn) however took a back seat to more pressing matters that were life and death.

I love the crow character and who she represents to Kal.

This book was very cute and I'm curious enough to follow up with the third book.

What happens to Kal, Thalia, and their kingdom?!

What's in store for Nevra and who will she torment next ? What's the demons end game? Eeeek!

I was gifted an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

They have both lost so much. He has lost his memories and his abilities as a dragon shifter. She has lost her home and family. They work together to stay alive among all kinds of threats and find love too.

You don't often find a dragon shifter with a rabbit shifter. They may be very different but they find something very special together. I enjoyed their adventure. There is a real sweetness to the love that builds as they work together. I wasn't sure what to make of Kal in the beginning but he impresses me in the end. Thalia is a sweet young woman who has real strength and a very loving spirit.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Magic, betrayal, manipulation, demons, and unexpected romance fuse in this exciting and page turning powerhouse! This is second in series and even better than the first (which was exceptional). The world of Xandakar is home to several shifter clans, including dragon shifters with precarious trust, and for good reason as the Nightshadow Clan is using a demon to manipulate the heir apparent to the Red Dragon Clan, Marco, to further their quest for domination (after Marco takes out his brother and father). This book chronicles Kal’s, Marco’s brothers, journey to find himself and his way home after Marco leaves him unable to shift and with no memory of who he is (Marco’s compromise when he can’t bring himself to kill Kal). On the way Kal crosses paths with a rabbit shifter, Thalia, who has lost everything after snake shifters attacked. Together they bring out the best in each other and become so much more than what they were separately. A truly great addition to an already promising series!

And the lives go on in the land of Xandarkar. Prince and Red Dragon, Kal, is found wandering in the desert. However, we may know who he is but he does not. He has no memories except the offer of a drink by a man calling him brother. As we join Kal in his search for himself, we meet little rabbit shifter, Thalia. Their meeting is not what you'd call a match made in heaven—he may not be able to shift into the Dragon he is told he is, but he does know she is not his normal companion.

Thalia wouldn't normally hang around a man like Kal, but he rescues her from the total destruction of her warren all those she holds dear. Reluctantly, he allows her to follow him and eventually join him on his search. Can a little rabbit shifter, shy woman help a mighty dragon? You will enjoy watching them all make discoveries about each other while the duplicity of the kingdom takes some wicked turns.

If Kal regains his memories will he also gain his powers? Will he be able to turn the changes in his father's realm around? And what of his family? Are they safe? If not who is in charge? And the most important question becomes, what will happen to Thalia when the Prince, heir to the throne returns with a mere rabbit shifter by his side?

Another fascinating adventure into the land of Xandarkar and the mind of the author. If you like adventures, mysteries, PNR, and romance this is the one for you.

Dragon red

After reading the first book I was super stoked to continue this series. This book follows Kal- the eldest son of the Wildfires. His brother Marko is set upon taking he throne and gives Kal a potion to erase his memories and has a potion made that will kill his father. Kal finds a way to restore his memories and that journey leads him to Thalia. She is a rabbit shifter whose clan is all killed. She follows him throughout his journey until he agrees to let her come with him. He gets his memories back but not in time to save his father. He makes his way back home and to find Marko and make him pay for his crimes. Nevra is the be wed to he Green king but her demons get Marko so she is forced to start her plotting all over.
Kal and Thalia get their happiness.
We revisit Miranda and Corban to find Miranda having vivid dreams of things to come.

I voluntarily submitted this review after reading an advanced copy of this book.
The struggle for power is a thing of weakness, often from those that are cowards and are all too willing to use others to make there designs come to pass. This is especially sad when it is son who is both jealous of his own brother and aggravated because his father does not acknowledge him in a way he feels he should. But to try and destroy the two of these people, for your own end is madness and stupidity at the extreme.
This book is about the second son, and a woman who controls him, trying to become the king of the Wildfire kingdom, but to do this both the King, his father, and his brother must be removed.
I have enjoyed both books of this series and are looking forward to reading the rest.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is the second story for this series so far and like the first, it didn’t disappoint. There are twists and turns that you never see coming as well as some of the characters from the first story making brief appearances. While the first story may have had more elements of deception, this story has a lot more danger and treachery from a family member. I enjoyed this story a great deal. No matter what was thrown at Kal, he managed to overcome it and move forward. Thalia was a delight to read. Despite what happened to her, she proved to be stronger and more resourceful than either of them thought her capable of being. I’m now wondering about Miranda even more after the last part of this story. I can’t wait for Book 3 but I really do hope that Nevra gets what’s coming to her soon!

This wonderfully written tale hit every mark I look for in a five star book. There are no distracting editing issues. The characters came to life. The storyline flowed well and made it hard to put down the book. I found myself holding my breath at certain scenes as well as smiling through other scenes. I felt the heartbreak each of the two main characters felt. And at the conclusion, I felt the need to seek out more of this story. Yes, success was attained by this writer. Once again this is still a new author to me and thus only the 2nd book I have read by Ms. Macy B. Rather than telling you what the story is about, I will start off by saying I really enjoyed the adventure portion of this 2nd installment. The author put us on a kind of scavenger hunt looking for certain items the H needed in order to fix what was wrong with him. Great idea applied to the main H for his portion of issues to overcome. I also liked that the author really made you love to hate the bad guys, she really was able to bring out the emotion of the reader on the side of disgust for the antagonist.
The H and h are actually quite the odd couple dragon shifter meets bunny shifter, however the author was able to pull it off for the most part. Once again in this book as well as the first I didn't feel a significant connection between the H and h. Luckily in this installment they did spend more time together not that it did them much good. Our H and h speak so little to one another that forming any kind of relationship with one another is next near to impossible. For the majority of the adventure the h is following the H from a distance. Even though I thought what the h did for the H by gathering small amounts of berries and nuts was sweet, I felt like the H was sporting a bad case of pity me syndrome and it was very unattractive. I again was not able to really get emotionally vested in these 2 main characters, I am told rather than shown that they love one another. I see no development on the emotional forefront between the intended couple. I would have loved to have seen the couple perhaps have a tender moment while on this adventure that brought them together and perhaps some more verbal interactions would have been beneficial as well, but to my great sadness we don't get this. He does however become not such a self pitying H once he returns to normal and does seem to make it a point to protect the h from some of the perils they encounter. The sexual relationship between the H and h is less than satisfying and didn't make it even remotely more connecting for the H and h, what kind of H shows so little concern for what we know is a virgin shifter by just ramming himself into her? This is supposed to be love, yikes I think I will pass on that kind of loving.
I would only recommend this book if you are looking for a quick read that you don't have to think to much into, something perhaps to kill some time before another release. If you are looking to get emotionally vested in the characters skip this series I don't think you will find that here, or at least I didn't. There are many more grammatical errors in this installment so be aware, but all in all not horrible I have seen worse. For now this series is just okay for me, no real depth of character and relationship development just doesn't do it for me.

This was quite a bit better than the first one and actually had a story line that made sense for the whole thing. I also liked the main characters a whole lot more.

Thalia is a rabbit shifter. She had such an innocence to her, but also a strong determination when it came to certain things. She has spent her whole life living peacefully in the forest with the rest of her people, but she has always longed to see the rest of the world. She knows that it's just a dream until her entire village is slaughtered by snake shifters and she is left alone. Fortunately for her, while fleeing for her life, she encounters a dragon shifter who saves her. And she refuses to be left behind.

Kal is the first prince of the red dragons. Betrayed by his brother he has lost his memory of all that he is and with that the ability to shift. Lost and wandering the desert, Kal encounters a witch (who prefers to be called a sorceress) who is able to give him a path to follow in order to reclaim himself. First he must find a rare white feather to regain his flight, then swim in a lagoon to get back his memories. It's while on his way to the feather that he finds a terrified rabbit. He doesn't exactly save her on purpose, more like he attacks the snakes because they have no manners. And even though he tells her that he cannot and will not take her with him, he knows she follows anyway.

It doesn't take long for Thalia's sweetness and determination to help him on his journey to win Kal over. It's a good thing too because without Thalia he might not have succeeded. While it may have only been a few days, the relationship forming between these two was so much more believable than the last couple. And these two actually go together rather well. My only issue is what the heck will their children be? Rabbits with wings?

While Kal is on his journey we get quite a bit from Marko's point of view. I knew something was up with him in the last book, but I didn't exactly expect him to do what he does here. Betraying his brother not once, but twice, Marko believes he has won. When he finds out he has not, he runs away like the coward he is. What happens to him at the end was well deserved and something I should have seen coming. And perhaps I did, but certainly not in this way.

The epilogue was actually going back to Miranda. She has had a nightmare which is obviously much more than a dream. But much like in her own book she can't tell the fucking truth when asked about it. Hopefully this time she does so before it's too late though.

I wouldn't exactly say I am looking forward to the next book, but I am curious about Vander. From the little bit we got of him, it seems like he would be a fun dragon to read about.

Wowzer this lady has you in knots in this book. I can not put this book down, I just have to finish it. Ms. Macy has written another nail biting, glue to your seat, phenomenal book. Yes, I definitely recommend this book this series is a must.
As you know in Book 1 with the Blue Dragon and Marko's sister Siccora was to come back from Earth to there realm called Xandakar to marry. That backfired and Siccora went back to Earth to marry her body guard. Miranda married into the Blue Dragon Clan.
Marko is a Dragon Shifter who has a
Demon named Vish’Kazir telling him what to do. Nevra of the Nightshadow Clan woke the demon up. First he told Marko to kill his brother, though Marko wanted to have the throne he couldn’t kill Kal (Kal was kind to him) so he had him drink some water to lose his ability to shift and lose his memory. With his sister banished to Earth, plus Kal disappearance, Marko still had the King his father to take care of.
Nevra Nightshadow of the Nightshadow Clan lived in a fortress made of stone and black cypress on top of a swamp. Her father King Sorian Nightshadow wouldn't let her train to be Queen. Nevra was always bored so she would pick someone or any prisoner at the time, hang them by there wrist, naked and torture them with a whip, when she saw blood, heard their screams their she felt good.
Thalia is a Rabbit Shifter from the warren which was attacked by Snake Shifter. Hopping as the fastest she could she had to get away from the Snake Shifters. She ran and ran till she ran into a brick wall or so she thought. It was a man who would help her. She didn't know where to go, she's never been anywhere before but the warren so she followed the man. What reason did she have to follow him?
Kaladon Wildfire aka Kal has been wandering aimlessly, he doesn't know where he's going he doesn't know who he is what is he supposed to do he doesn't remember anything. As he wonders through the desert
he is told, for price of course to get a feather of the white hawk in the Hartglade Forest. Then travel west to the Emerald Isle and bathe in the Lost Lagoon.
My question is who or what is Moonglow?
A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

In book 2 of series in the of life in Xandakar we meet Prince Kaladon Wildfire of the Red Dragons only he doesn't know who he is are where he came from and he is in the desert not knowing where he is going are where he has come from he hears a crow cawing when he determined where it is coming from he follows the sound he comes to old shack and sees the crow shift into a beautiful woman her name is Cordella she is a Sorceress who wanted something from him he doesn't want to give her anything but it's a trade for information on who he is once she goes into a trace she spouts information out that he is only somewhat paying attention to and she tells him that he has to find the feather of the white hawk and then go to Emerald Isle lagoon and he will get his power to shift and remember who he is so he goes on the quest to recover his identity on the way he goes through the Hartglade Forest when he comes upon Thalia a rabbit shifter who was out picking berries that morning and she was thinking about leaving home and going to see other parts of Xandakar she had never been away from the forest. All of a sudden she hears the bells ring in the village indicating danger and she was frightened because she was so far away but she shifted into her Rabbit form and hopped back toward the village but she was hiding because she saw dead bodies and some men in green scaly armor the Sunscales they were the snake people killing her people even thought she didn't see any of her family they were burning the village Thalia didn't realize she had screamed aloud and they were after her and she hopped through the forest as fast as she could and tripped an fell right at Kal's feet and he ask the Snake shifters what they wanted with the rabbit and they threatened to kill him if he didn't give her to them and he took care of them and sent the running, Thalia was so thankful after he made sure she was alright and learned her name he told her he had to leave she wanted to come with him he told her no but she didn't have anything to go back to there was no village left so she followed him. He found that she came in handy on his quest and she provided help that he didn't realize he needed. There was a lot of evil that was beginning to take place in Xandakar. This a thrilling suspenseful romance. This is a voluntary review of this ARC.

This is the first book i have read by this author and i voluntarily reviewed this book so i really didn’t know what to expect when i started this, i just saw dragon shifters and know that this is a genre i enjoy.

I can honestly say that i adored this book, i couldn’t consume it quick enough, i seriously couldnt stop turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next and i was not disappointed! This book is definitely what you would call action packed, from the first page the action is non stop with a dash of mystery and even a love interest. I loved how this boo was about a journey from beginning to end and in more ways than one.

I really enjoyed not just the storyline but also the way that Macy Babineaux has actually written this book. The way it is written simply makes you want to know more, especially how this ended, it made me just want to read more of this series and i will definitely be following the authors work from now on. It s written in such a way that it does pull you into the tale that is woven and you do crave to know more.

I have to say that i loved Thalia, it would be expected that she would be shy and want to stay hidden away due to what happens and because of what she is but this woman has a serious backbone made of steel and a determination and grit that would rival any dragon. I also loved watching her confidence in herself build throughout the book and by the end , she is still herself but she blossoms and i loved reading that! The majority of the book is about her and Kal, i loved reading about their interaction with each other and how it changes as you read the book. He changes throughout the book for quite a few reason but saying anything more would give the storyline away. I can say that he is stubborn and willful but also has a big heart and determination as well as being protective and always doing what he feels is right!

I enjoyed this so much and i hope it won't be too long before the third book is available as i can't wait to see where this tale will go. I would really highly recommend this book!!!

I loved Dragon Red book even more than the first book! Which is saying something because I really enjoyed book 1. I love the multiple points of view and feel they really drive and enhance the story. I love getting into everyone's head to learn not only their thoughts, but their motives as well. This story (as well as book one) is a wonderful blend of paranormal romance, great writing and a fascinating world. The plot has all kinds of twists and turns and is wonderfully complex. Dragon Red was a quick read because I couldn't pull myself away from the story.

While a lot of the world building is laid out in book one, I was still excited that we got to explore more of the world along with our main female character, Thalia. Seeing brief glimpses of past characters was an enjoyable addition to this story. I hope we are able to see more of them in future books and am excited to see how everything will fall into place. This book brings about new kinds of shifters and it was interesting to see how two creatures so vastly different fell in love. This story is more tame in the sensual department than the first book, but I liked that the two stories were so different. I loved the suspense of Kal journeying to discover himself and watching the romance bloom.

I cannot wait to read the next book in the series! I would highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance lover.

Wow! So much going on in this book! This is the second book in the Dragonlords of Zandakar series, and wow! What a punch it packs! Kal finds himself in the middle of the desert, but he has lost all of his memories, except a fleeting thought "care for a drink brother". He can't even remember his name, who or what he is, and how he came to be where he is. And like a dying man in the desert, when he comes across a hut of sorts, he questions his sanity as well. So when Cordella, a witch/crow shifter, puts forth her request for payment in exchange for answers to his questions, even though he hesitates, he agrees. Thalia, for some reason or another, finds herself, once again, wandering further than she needs to in order to pick berries. For reasons unknown to herself, she finds herself drawn farther and farther each time she leaves the warren. When the warning sirens go off, she finds herself rushing back, only to discover the warren burnt to ashes, and snake shifters killing all of her friends and family. She turns and runs as fast as she can, only to find herself cornered when she stumbles.
You will want to make sure there are no interuptions once you start reading this episode, as it covers so much action, both good and bad, between the dragons, rabbits, snakes, birds and demons. Lots of excitement and of course, the birth of a new love. Looking forward to the next episode.

Danger-filled dragon mystery and romance – loving this series!!!

The story starts with a man trudging through the desert, knowing not who he is or where he travels. Eventually he comes upon a sorceress who extracts a fee and tells him he is Kaladon Wildfire, true heir to the throne of Fire – a dragon. To restore his memory he must travel to the Hartglade Forest and the Lost Lagoon in the Emerald Isle.

Thalia is an exceedingly shy rabbit-shifter, collecting dewberries. She has lived her whole life in the Hartglade Forest but dreams of seeing the wider world. She finds it hard to make friends – they are supposed to travel in pairs – but she prefers to remain alone. Her warren is attacked by snake-shifters and while attempting to escape Thalia is championed by a handsome man in red armor. With gratitude and no other options, she follows him on his quest.

Their journey takes them to Vander Tanglevine king of the green dragons who greets them as a friend. Kal seems to remember something – don’t trust Vander…… As Kal works to regain his memories and himself, evil plots are in progress. And plans are in place to keep him away from his home.

An exciting story of betrayal, politics, danger, greed and romance.

He awakens not knowing where he is or who he is. He is on blinding white sand, just walking along. Then he hears a crow cawing and turns to follow the sound. In a small hut in the huge desert he finds the crow which turns into a witch named Cordella. She tells him that he needs to find an ironwood tree and get a white feather and then head to the Emerald Isle to bathe in the Lost Lagoon and he will regain his memories. She also tells him his name is Kaladon Wildfire, a prince of the Red Dragons. While walking in the forest where the ironwood tree is to be found, he meets Thalia, a girl who is also a rabbit-shifter. Her warren has been attacked by snake-shifters and all her people killed. She stays with Kal and helps him get the white feather. Then Kal is captured by the snake-shifters and Thalia saves him and he destroys all the snake-people and their camp. He flies back to his homeland and finds that his brother Marko has murdered his father at the behest of a vicious demon (who is locked into a magic cage) and a really nasty psycho female dragon named Nevra. Marko escapes and runs back to the demon who kills him by burning him to ash. Nevra inhales the ash and feels that this has made her stronger. She wants to rule all the dragon kingdoms. Kal and Thalia marry. I look forward to reading the next books in the series.

I was given this book to review with my honest thoughts......Hold on to your seats and get ready for another great adventure in the world of Xandakar where anything is possible. Fate has a way of working her way through to the hearts of these Wildfire Dragons and it sets a new blaze of passion throughout the lands. In book 1 you met Marko, Siccora and Karth the Wildfire dragons. They were to be attending the wedding of Siccora to The Everfrost King, however that backfired (pun intended) when Miranda showed up and was now proven to be a true owner of the ruby amulet...Anyway, The wildfire dragons are in for a timely demise when Marko turns his back on his father, king Karth and brother Kaladon, things get really heated. Kal has no memory because of his brother and is sent on a wild goose chase to find his memories and comes in contact with a whily little rabbit who is stubborn as can be...oh I have to stop here and let you read the book for I do not wish to spoil the outcome :-) ENJOY as I have

Kal finds himself walking in the desert with no memories including his own name. He just hears the words repeating in his head, "Have a drink brother" He follows the sound of a crow to a witch who is able to tell him his name, that he is a dragon shifter and where he needs to go to regain all that he lost. Fist he must go to the forest for a white hawk feather.
Thalia is a rabbit shifter who lives in the forest. She is more adventurous than her family so she feels isolated. One day snake shifters kill her village and chase her. She is saved by Kal. She wants to go with him one his quest but Kal is unsure. She finally proves her usefulness and they are off together.
I love this story. Kal is a prince and a dragon but he is not conceited. He is strong and protective. His memory loss is a great burden for him but regaining them causes more problems. He loves Thalia but a dragon and a bunny?? Their pairing is against all tradition. Thalia copes with lots of new experiences and her spirit shines through.

Just WOW!!! Hot steamy Dragon shifters!!!

Betrayal abounds in this story, and I was totally hooked from the first sentence!!!

Kal is betrayed by his own brother, loosing his memory and his ability to shift. Found wandering the desert by a crow shifter who may hold the answers to who he is, but is he willing to pay her price to get the info??

Traveling through his world with only the information give to him by a witch, he sets out to fins himself and get home. On his journey he finds rabbit shifter Thalia, after the snake shifters have decimated her village and her family. He wants to be rid of her convinced she will just slow him down, but her persistence soon has him realizing that she may be of use.

Marko has betrayed his not only his family but his people, and all for a woman he can not have. Doing the bidding of a trapped and powerful demon that could destroy everything.

Truly detailed and deep story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This is book 2 in the series and I very much look forward to reading book 1 and any future books in the series.

I am really enjoying this series! The intrigue of this dark force in Xandakar, along with that b*tch Nevra has got me hooked. Let's not forget the adventure that takes place with Kal and Thalia. Kal and Thalia's relationship was very sweet. I wish that there was more written about what they learned about each other through their travels - conversations they had, jokes shared, etc. Both obviously cared deeply for the other, and I was otherwise pleased to see how their relationship progressed and was left at the end of the story. I am looking forward to seeing what trouble comes next for the dragons in the next book, and how each color plays a part in what I'm sure will eventually be a big battle to come.

I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way

Kal and Thalia pick up the story where Dragon Blue ended, but there is enough information to read this as a stand alone without missing any pertinent information. Kal, a dragon shifter prince has been poisoned into loosing his memory and his ability to shift into dragon form. Thalia is a Bunny shifter ( yes, a bunny) who he rescues from certain death by snake shifters. They go thru several trials and adventures to take them back to the place they need to be , the Dragon castle, before all of the Dragons lives are changed forever. Fast paced, adventure, with family being the ones they need to watch, to keep from being knifed in the back. Some small moments of sexual indiscretions, but not too spicy . 8f you like epic adventures and paranormal romance, you will love this book . 4☆'s !! I recieved a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

This is a wonderful, intriguing book to read and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. What you will find in this book is: a determined woman and rabbit shifter (Thakia), a Prince and dragon shifter (Kal), his brother who is a murderer and betrayer (Marko), drama, suspense, intrigue, demons, dark magic, good magic, various shifter clans, were-snakes, witches, danger, greed, betrayal, manipulations, cruelty, evil, pending war, love, emotional feelings, romance and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and written. The characters are quite well developed with emotional feelings according to the situation they find themselves in. I would recommend this book to people who like to read dragon books.
