I have to admit that I didn't pay attention to the description on this one. I had been expecting a book on growing herbs, but I'm glad that I got the book. It's very thorough and informative. However, I wouldn't say the tea preparations would be called recipes.
The author is very forthcoming at the start. She is not a medical doctor and makes it quite clear that this book is for educational purposes only.
Full disclosure I won this book, but I am glad I did. It is easy to follow, and a lot of information on each herb. I am new to using herbs, and it gave a brief history of the herb, how it could help or not help, and how to use it such and is in teas. I learned a great deal from this book. Being newer to herbs, I would have liked better pictures to view some of the more unfamiliar (to me) herbs.
