Everything you want to know about the type including history, basics, writings, letters, writing styles on many ancient civilizations, typography, typefaces, fonts, letterforms, etc. A recommended must-read for typography enthusiasts.

Now that I've read this, it's more of a long-term read: meant to be read over a bit of time. Not something that you can easily read through in a matter of days or hours. Also, you'll definitely pay more attention to how type appears after reading this. It's...an interesting phenomenon.

É um bom livro, não muito leve não muito denso.
Cuida da parte básica da tipografia com diversos exemplos e explicações bem feitas.
Peca pelo layout do próprio livro, que tem seus altos e baixos. Ainda assim, definitivamente recomendo. Especialmente a iniciantes e intermediários no assunto.
