Shebat Legion (Elisha Fraser) is the author of "Vampire Therapy: Chronicles of the Cat's Ass Boutique", a collection of short stories that serve as a prequel to her first novel, "Jackson and Eva." Shebat Legion's works of comedic horror have also appeared in 'Hoblin Goblin' a Vamptisy Anthology, and John Mannings 'Terror by Gaslight.'

Shebat Legion displays a gift for spinning tales, mixing genres, and spoofing sacred cows with poetic flashes of wicked wit, laughingly risqué yet always balanced with moral sensitivity and innovative resolutions.

Shebat/Elisha resides in a small town far from the crush of civilization. She enjoys meditating by the side of her lake and rambling through woods with her beloved canines.

Books are most important and never more so in early childhood. Here is one I recommend - 'The Fork Tree' by Shebat Legion.
Shebat Legion writes this charming tale cleverly in rhyme.

'' The earth is warm,
the seeds are small
and from the child's
hand they fall.''

Erika M Szabo's illustrations are vibrant and dreamlike. If you're looking for a sweet tale to read to your little ones, then this is the perfect bedtime story for them. I adore the art of the protagonist Emily's adorable ginger cat.
The author teaches a vital lesson - reality can be different from our dreams and life can not always go our way, but they have the wonders and reward of imagination, one of life's greatest gifts. A simply lovely story book.

The Fork Tree is perfectly suited for children ages 4-6 or even younger, incorporating a poem about children’s fanciful imaginations. The illustrations by Erika M. Szabo are beautifully done and completely appropriate. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a gift that will be sure to charm a small child.
