Wow! Kane is a playboy and known for him being a jerk plus a womanizer. When he meets Julie she is a waitress and Kane wants her so he does what he always does flirts with her and things get hot and heavy in the backroom. When they get out Julie is stuck with a handsy biker and Kane defends her honor which leads him jail, now being ordered to do some community service at a local school with the afterschool football. Then like fate Julie is there, she is actually a teacher but was trying to get extra money as a waitress, Kane is happy to see her again but Julie has a backbone now and is very in control of him being there. Julie is protective of Hunter, a foster kid who she has been trying to adopt but hasn't had luck. When Kane sees this he wants to get to know both of them better soon after he is in love with hunter and promises to do whatever he can for him. I thought this was going to be a book about a guy who is a player meets girl and bam be done, but it wasn't Kane was a playboy until he met Julie and hunter now they have the cutest insta-family.

I got to read this book as a bonus book in another book and I'm glad I did it is fantastic I don't understand how this book only has a 3 1/2 stars it's shocking to me cause this book was perfect to me it made me cry, get hot, and laugh what more do you need. The way they care for this one kid that need them most was so heartwarming. It's a must Read for me.

I love when a story's synopsis makes me think one thing is going to happen and it intrigues me but what really happens is so much better! Kane and Julie's story or should I say Kane, Julie and Hunters story is perfect and so wonderful! So glad I got to read it.

Wow this story gives you everything you want bad boy, sweet girl and plenty in between. Kane is known for being a jerk plus a total womanizer but he meets Julie a waitress with more to her story, Kane wants her and they end up in a back room where things get heated. Julie carries on her work but a handsy biker gets Kane to defend her honor which lands him jail and ends up doing some community service at a local school with the afterschool football. Julie is actually a teacher there but was trying to get extra money as a waitress, Julie is protective of a little foster boy Hunter who she has been trying to adopt but hasn't had luck. If you thought this was going to be your usual player gets the girl story you are in for a great surprise, loved this...... I received this from the author and here is my honest unbiased review.

Not only is this a sexy, hot as hell romance, but what filters through is the touching story about how one man makes a difference in a lost little boys life. Kane is the sexy, playboy QB for a professional football team, a sworn bachelor for life, but all it took was a school teacher and a little boy to completely change his life plan. There are some tender moments between Kane and Hunter that pull at the heartstrings...and then the transformation of Kane from playboy to family man perpetuated by his feelings for Julie are what really make the story captivating.
If there is any author who can write sensually charged scenes, Ms Paige is that author. There are layers to Julie that only Kane has been able to peel away, what lays beneath those layers, when the two of them are together will leave you breathless.

So.so.
So at the beginning I hated Kane. He was an extremely gross man whore. I hate the type. But after he met Julie he started to grow on me. I didn't understand how he went from the grossest man to loving and devoted so quickly but I'm glad he did. By the end he was a completely different person and it was definitely for the better. However I didn't really feel too much of a connection between the characters. It felt more sexual then anything else. That was all that seemed matter. And the lack of protection and lack of details left me a little confused. Did Kane have a habit of just sleeping with women without protection? Was Julie even on birth control? Nothing was discussed or talked about between the two and it just kind of left me wonder. In the end I love when a book has an epilogue and this one was super sweet but we never got to find out the final outcome with Hunter!! Ugh. Overall though I did enjoy the story as a whole and it had a nice ending.

This book was great and I loved it so so much, it wasn't all sex and steam, although that played a Sexy as hell part in it too. This was a story of broken people helping others heal and heal themselves.
Kane was your typical playboy jerk that uses women and throws them away. Until Julie a teacher vowing to keep a little boy safe. But once Kane makes his intentions known her resolve starts to crumble.
I broke at the touching moments in this book, the way they peeled away each other's defenses and the beautiful moments between Kane and Hunter made me hold my breath and smile loads.
A definite must read for sports romance lovers and everyone that loves a bad boy. I so recommend this book.

Wow! What can I say about this book you have Kane Hawkins who is a bad boy football player who isn't looking for love at all and you have Julie Bristow who is a school teacher by day and a waitress by night and took the waitressing job to help pay the rest of her bills. One her first and last night of waitressing she meets Kane, ends in a storage room with him. Kane notices Julie being harassed by another man he jumps to her defense and gets himself in trouble with the law. And that is just the beginning of their story. This was a really great book no exes coming back making everyone's life hell. Just an overall great book

I read this book in one sitting which means it is 5 stars for me, I could not put it down. It was a football romance story that i thought was written well, a couple of spelling mistakes, but no one is perfect and that does not bother me. It was a quick and steamy read. If you are looking for some steam this one is for you! lol I believe this is the second book I have read by this author and I really like her. If you need a break from the hum drums of everyday life give this book a try.

What a great story! Kane the football star wants the girl, but Julia knows all about him. Kane loses his cool and has to do community service and Julia is there to supervise. Can this duo work it out? When Hunter comes into the picture it's just what they need to straighten up their curvy road to love. Lovely story.

Epilogue Left Me Wanting
Normally I would like an epilogue to be longer than 2 weeks. I wanted to be more into their happily ever after instead of two weeks it should have been 2 months or 2 years. Something. Anything longer than 2 weeks. And maybe even a two-part epilogue from both of their points of view. That is the only reason I didn't give this book five stars.

Cute quick read
Really cute insta romance. There was so much that could have lengthened this book to make it great, but it's not bad. I needed a book to get me between some longer ones that left me in a book daze and this one did it. I'm not saying it's the best I've ever read, but it did its job. :)

This was a good read. there are some minor editing issues. but the book was still enjoyable.
