Finally hit a 4 star for me and this series! Woot woot.
Anyway, sorry for so many mini- reviews...I've been on a reading binge - as evidenced by the fact that I blew through this entire series overnight. Literally, in one night...

Cal and Andi were super cute together, which surprised me as I didn't feel that drawn to either in the previous three books. Levi and Cherish are still my favorite couple, but Cal and Andi's are my favorite book, odd as that may seem.
Anyway, I'll try to get around to doing fuller reviews for this series...sometime lol...

I'm kinda ambivalent about this one. It was good, but there was a distracting amount of sex.
Also, this is the fourth book in the series and my ebook version had the previous three books at the end.

Stand was the fourth book in the Stone Kings MC series by Daphne Loveling. Loveling was one of my favorite authors and this series didn’t disappoint!
I’ve taken a break from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I loved both Cal and Andi when they were introduced in book one, Rush, and I had hoped they would eventually get together. They were both funny, snarky, strong, and smart. Well Cal had to grow up first, but as we know he did just that through the Stone Kings MC and was the perfect, protective alpha for Andi. I also loved the storyline and it’s progression. All in all, Stand was a great ending to the series and I’m hopeful Loveling will produce a spin off through the Denver MC.

From the whole series this is probably my favorite book, yet it still felt lacking to me.
I like Cal and Andi’s characters and how they danced around each other at first.
Things do feel a little less rushed than in the previous books, but still rushed to some extent.
You work up to this whole bad thing thats supposed to happen, only for the action portion to only last one chapter. Like boom something bad happens, oh this is how the FMC fixes it, and suddenly everything is fine again.
There is more MC element to it than the previous book had, but it wasn’t much.
The series was enjoyable, but it could’ve been better.
I like Cal and Andi’s characters and how they danced around each other at first.

Great read. Andi and Cal have known each other for years. They flirted but no expectations. But this book shows how friendship. trust, and chemistry turn out a nice love story.

Stand è un romanzo esplosivo, così come è esplosiva la profonda connessione tra Cal e Andi. Ogni volume di questa serie è stato una continua sorpresa e quest’ultimo non ha fatto altro che confermare quanto le storie di Daphne Loveling siano in grado di rapirmi e affascinarmi.
Nel corso dei volumi precedenti ho imparato a conoscere sempre più a fondo i Stone Kings e il loro modo di tenere al sicuro la città di Lupin. Non sono dei santi, ma non sono nemmeno dei criminali spietati, anzi proteggono chiunque si trovi in difficoltà, soprattutto se si tratta di qualcuno così tanto vicino al loro club.
Anche in questo romanzo gli Stone Kings hanno un ruolo determinante e l’autrice ha saputo porre l’accento sul profondo legame che lega i membri del club. È stato davvero molto bello ritrovarli tutti, scoprire il futuro tra Grayson e Seton, vederli più innamorati che mai, ritrovare anche Levi e Cherish e il modo in cui sono stati pronti ad accogliere Eva, la compagna di Trig.
Adoro lo stile di scrittura di Daphne Loveling, la sua capacità di fondere insieme momenti romantici ad altri più adrenalinici con la giusta suspense.
La trama corre velocissima e una volta iniziato a leggerlo mi sono fermata solo quando sono arrivata all’epilogo che, tra le altre cose, è davvero bello.
Penso che sia impossibile non affezionarsi a questi due protagonisti non solo perché sono splendidi, ma anche perché insieme funzionano alla grande. Tra di loro c’è una chimica pazzesca, ma è qualcosa che va oltre l’attrazione reciproca, è qualcosa che comprende anche i sentimenti e qualcosa che aspetta solo il momento giusto per sbocciare.
Inoltre l’autrice, anche questa volta, ha saputo mettere al centro i sentimenti che entrambi provano, con i rispettivi dubbi, le paure e le speranze. L’amore tra Andi e Cal nasce in modo quasi inaspettato e quando entrambi si accorgono dei rispettivi sentimenti ormai è impossibile tornare indietro. Ho adorato tantissimo il modo in cui Cal di prende cura di Andi, ascoltandola e proteggendola. Anche questa volta la Loveling ci mostra un lato molto romantico e protettivo del suo protagonista maschile, che viene affiancato da una donna straordinaria, un misto di forza e vulnerabilità. L’amore tra Cal e Andi cresce con il tempo diventando sempre più intenso e profondo.

I am sad that this series has ended and we finish with Cal..
Seton's brother and who we have met before in previous books as a prospect to the Stone Kings MC and now he is a fully patched member of the MC.
Cal is young and cocky and has a crush on his sisters best friend Andi...they always share banter and flirt a little but it is all just in jest and nothing is taken any further.
Andi is in a band and she has noticed Cal as more than just her friends brother but as the man he has becoming under The Stone Kings influence.
He is Gorgeous,tattooed,strong,protective and unfortunately a player ,woman just seem to fall at his feet..So she ignores her attraction to him.
But Andi has secrets and is dealing with a stalker who keeps leaving subtle messages to let her know that she is being watched.
Cal knows there is something wrong with Andi and she eventually reveals her secrets...and they cross the line and the sexy times are HOT !!!
Cal vows to protect Andi no matter what the cost against the threat towards her..and their secret relationship continues.
What will happen when Seton finds out?

This Audiobook was Amazing narrated by Troy Duran and Anastasia Watley who are just wonderful reading this book..Listening to them is such a delight and they do an excellent performance with these characters.Loved them.
There is more to this book with Andi's past and I loved Cal and his taking charge of the situation,he has really grown as these books have progressed..from a 19 year old prospect who was reckless and selfish..to a 22 year old man who was loyal and cared about the ones he loved,he is fearless and tough and tender when it came to Andi.
I really enjoyed this story and it was bittersweet to say goodbye to The Stone Kings MC.
I am now a huge Fan of Daphne Loveling and the way she creates her stories.
Brilliant Book.

Mi è piaciuto tanto questo libro.
Non è un enemies to lovers, lui è il fratello della sua miglio amica. Non sono davvero amici, si scambiano solo poche battute quando si vedono. Lui fa parte degli Stone Kings, un gruppo di motociclisti coinvolto nella protezione della città e affari illeciti. Un bel gruppo di motociclisti belli, tenebrosi e che mettono paura ma che in realtà sono buoni, leali.
I due si avvicinano a seguito di una “minaccia” alla ragazza e lei si ritrova a chiedere aiuto all’ultima persona a cui si sarebbe mai voluta rivolgere: un donnaiolo, inaffidabile e ribelle eppure Cal si è mostrato da subito disponibile ad aiutarla. A esserci per lei. Che forse non sia così superficiale e stronz* come appare?
Qualcuno la sta minacciando, forse un passato da cui sta scappando. Ma cosa fare ora? Non vuole far preoccupare la sua migliore amica, in città è da sola, non può chiedere aiuto a nessuno. Eppure non si vuole mostrare debole.
Eppure Cal è li, pronto ad aiutarla. Pronto a farle cambiare idea, che forse non è più il fratello irresponsabile e sui non si può fare affidamento È cresciuto. È maturato. Adesso è un uomo. E vuole lei. Vuole proteggerla. E farà di tutto.

Seton was Andi’s best friend. When Andi went to Seton’s brother, Cal, for help, Andi didn’t want her to know. That would be too awkward. Especially when everything seemed to escalate between Andi and Cal pretty quickly. When Cal got involved with Andi, he only knew he wanted to protect her. He never imagined it would quickly become so much more. Can he protect her, or will her past get in the way?
Stand was the most seductive, smoking hot romance I’ve read in a while. It made me HOT from beginning to end and I’m pretty sure I was melting by the time it was over. I surely didn’t want it to end and you can bet I’ll be back for anything else I can get from this new-to-me author! I couldn’t get enough and damn, the sex scenes were explicit and intense! Ms. Loveling knows her way around the written erotic word! I’m impressed and addicted all at the same time. You can bet your sweet bippy, I won’t pass by anything this author writes! 5 Stars! (and many more if I could!) Yehaw!!!

I enjoyed this more than I expected! The story had some engaging moments, although there were a few discrepancies that caught my attention.
I really liked how Andi and Cal’s relationship developed, especially their banter. I didn’t mind that Andi held back on sharing her heavy burden right away; it felt authentic. However, I was quite irritated by her lack of self-preservation, I was like 🙄 what’s new right? Stepping outside alone when danger was looming felt like a decision that was dumber than a bag of rocks! Seems like whenever FMC is “tiny��� they do dumb shit… I mean Andi was supposedly about 5’9? In the first book but became tiny by the end of this book… meh
On the flip side, I loved seeing Cal grow up throughout the story. It was impressive, but I would have appreciated seeing more of that transformation; it felt a bit sudden in some spots.
Lastly, the epilogue was a delightful touch! It tied everything together beautifully and left me with a satisfying conclusion. Overall, it was a fun listen!
I mean you can never go wrong with Troy Duran’s narration…. Anastasia Watley held her own too… she was better than most…

The Stone King MC is a series about a motorcycle club in a small town. The members seem to provide security for many of the businesses and try to stay in the good graces of the town. There are rival gangs nearby and many people who surround them. The books are a fun, hot read. I think this one might have been my favorite so far. I didn’t stop reading until I had completed the set of novels. Love the bad boys……

Il quarto volume parla di una coppia di cui non vedevo l'ora di conoscere. Entrambi sono presenti nel primo volume, infatti uno è il fratello di Seton e l'altra è la migliore amica.
La storia tra Cal e Andi è diversa rispetto alle altre. Tra i due sappiamo fin da subito che c'è attrazione ma sappiamo anche che l'altro non lo sa e che nessuno dei due vuole fare la prima mossa. Nessuno dei due vuole rovinare l'amicizia e nessuno dei due vuole creare problemi con Seton.
La loro è una storia dolcissima e devo dire che sono molto felice che loro siano stati la coppia conclusiva.Anche qui l'autrice affronta un argomento importante, di cui non dico nulla se no svelerei il segreto di Andi, e anche stavolta non lo approfondisce essendo una storia breve ma non mi è sembrato qualcosa di buttato lì tanto per fare.

La loro è una storia dolcissima e devo dire che sono molto felice che loro siano stati la coppia conclusiva.Anche qui l'autrice affronta un argomento importante, di cui non dico nulla se no svelerei il segreto di Andi, e anche stavolta non lo approfondisce essendo una storia breve ma non mi è sembrato qualcosa di buttato lì tanto per fare.

October 19, 2016Yes! One more awesome addition to the Stone Kings MC Romance Series!!! This book centered around one of my favorite characters that appeared in the previous books in this series. His name is Cal, who without a doubt deserves his own wonderful story!! He is the infamous brother to Seton, who is married to the MC’s president and a member himself.
This story demonstrates how mature and protective Cal can be when someone a sexy woman of interest is in trouble. I loved how each book has shown Cal getting his life and straight and this book just puts it over the top. I imagine Cal being extremely sexy and sweet and perfect match another awesome character who appeared in some of the previous stories.
I loved this story because it was not only part of an amazing series that I have been following but it includes some mystery!!!! So, what could be better bikers, romance, and mystery! Everyone should read this book. It can be DEFINITELY be read as a standalone but it is even better as part of the series!!!!!

Now this was a good book.
The sparks, banter and 'dirty' flirting has been flying between Cal and Andi for a few years - ever since Andi met Cal, who was her best friend Seton's brother. Cal was a bad boy biker, or so Andi thought, she couldn't have been more wrong - he was kind and gentle, really protective of her. When quite unexpectedly, her past reared its ugly head, it was something she didn't want to face, but the blatant clues being left for her to find, left her no doubt, she had been located. She was totally unnerved, even if Cal didn't know her deepest darkest secrets - he could tell something was off, she confided in him, and he swore he would take care of it. The MC club got involved, and Cal immersed himself in her business, and never let go.

(Cal & Andi): TRIGGERS: stalking, domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, child molestation. I really liked this book. There's so much to unravel with this one. Cal and Andi are friendly and tend to flirt with each other when they see each other but have never gone beyond that. He's her best friend's brother. They have a strong attraction and chemistry for each other but are hesitant. When Andi begins getting stalked and Cal helps her out to make her feel safe, they get closer and finally they break and take a chance. They are unbelievably hot together but they're keeping a secret from everyone. Not only that, Andi's stalker is hot on her trails and she's keeping the full truth from Cal. The story is so good, it'll have you hooked.

First he was helping her out of a scary situation then they fell in love.
**trigger warning ⚠️ *** this book does mention the drugging and sexual abuse of a child/teen by a family member & the denial by her mother***
It’s a story that’s been told many times & unfortunately is relatable to some because of the amount of SA victims that were abused by family members.
Her trying to keep her relationship with the brother from her best friend didn’t feel genuine it was fake drama to fill the book.
The book ends okay enough besides for her relationship with her mother, after all the years of abuse I would not be able to say I forgive you to her that fast!

well im glad i got to read this series and I thought all were good except for ride. troy is awesome and full of biker grit vocals, and Anastasia did well.
the steamy scenes were just that but it would be nice to have a little variety in theses scenes, Ms Loveling writes the same methodology every scene, every book. I'm kinda getting over it. not to mention it be nice if the guys liked a bit more from their women than just sex. there doesn't seem to be any other qualities about them described in the books.

A fantastic, emotional and steamy read. Beautifully presented by the narrators
I have always found it difficult to comprehend how a mother could be blind to the concerns of her child for the sake of a comfortable lifestyle. Stories like these really grab me in the gut. Cal is a gem. He never gave up until he got to the bottom of what made Andi so fearful. No matter what, he was there for her. The story has some emotional issues that touched my heart. Andi's mother should be honoured that she forgives her. The act she committed against her daughter was not easily forgiven. The experience will certainly never be forgotten by Andi. Fantastic story. Brilliantly narrated

Well damn! I am sorry to see the end of this series but what a finish!!

Suddenly it seems more and when Andi appears to be in danger, Cal will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

I voluntarily received an advance reader copy of this book. Absolutely loved it. This is a bit tamer from the other books in the series but just as good. Cal is the brother of Seton and she is the old lady of the MC president. He falls for Setons best friend, Andi, who is a singer for one of their clubs. She flees home and her past to only have her past catch up with her. Very entertaining and fast pace. This book has drama, betrayal and romance.

I enjoyed Cal and Andi's story. But I have to say; I'm glad this series is over. Overall, Stone Kings was just an okay series for me. The books needed editing and proofreading. It's frustrating to read a book with so many errors. It's as if the author didn't care to put out a quality book. So, I won't be reading anything else from Loveling as I expect more of the same in her other books.

Amazing!!
Cal and Addi's story is a fantastic addition to this awesome series. This set consists of all the different novel's in this series, and each one is written about 4 different couples who are engaging, entertaining, and leads to a riveting and all consuming, emotional and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.

An intensely invigorating, passionate, witty and charming ride to do on with Cal and Andi. Their banter is playful and cute, their chemistry is undeniable and their connection is simply beautiful. I loved how Cal just stepped right in and chose to be her protector. He knew what he wanted and went for it. I enjoyed every single second of this story.
Audiobook is just as great. Anastasia Watley and Troy Duran did an outstanding job bringing this amazing characters to life.

Plot wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. I enjoyed Cal & Andi as a couple.
What had my eyes rolling was one of the conflicts. Author made a big deal of hiding their relationship from Cal’s sister and Andi’s best friend thinking Seaton would be angry and they’d lose their relationship with her….Lame 🙄. That was such a dumb conflict that was dragged out, ugh 🤦🏻♀️.
I also thought Andi’s step father should’ve suffered more. It was wrapped up too quickly after the mystery was solved.

Protecting what is yours
This was a great book about friends who can go from flirting all the time, into lovers without even realizing it. Cal is part of MC club that is ran by his sister's husband. Now Cal is feeling some type of way about Andi, his sister's bestfriend. I loved this book. Great job Daphne Loveling.

Another fantastic story by the author, filled with fully enjoyable characters. Can a friend grow to be something more, can a woman running from an impossible situation find love and safety in the arms of a biker. This book is a guaranteed five star read you won't want to miss.
