It wasn’t just a knock on my door that altered it forever. No, it all started with him. Nic.
One innocent glance across a crowded bar set off a series of events that neither of us could control. Words like forever and for always became promises. It was intense, blinding even.
And then, he disappeared.
I tried to start over. I moved across the country for a new job, but some things are unavoidable. At least, that's what I told myself when the man I thought I'd left behind suddenly reappears.
Every twist, turn, and trauma that follows forces me to question everything I thought was true. About him. About us.
But it’s too late to walk away. Because Nic isn't the only one with something to hide—I've been keeping a secret, too.
Author’s Note: SAVAGE is the first book in a trilogy. It should not be read as a stand alone.
The storyline is intriguing and kept me glued to my kindle, til 3am. First, I must admit, if a book doesn't capture my attention in the first few pages, I move on. But, I read this entire book.
Monster's son falls in love with law school grad/Congressional staffer, but it's not that cheesy love story. There are twists and turns in this story.
What really caught my attention is that, I realized there are no erotic scenes in this story, and yet, the author manages to keep your attention on the plot.
Reagan and Nic. Jesus where do I even begin? The story is crazy wild. Just when you want Nic to be that special guy, bam. Man, I was hooked. Read it everywhere hoping something radical was going to happen. Never once did I think that what did happen, was gonna. Can't wait for book 2.
Wow if I could give this book more than five stars ⭐ then I definitely would what a story there is so much going out if you blink you miss it I won't leave any spoilers but just believe when I say this is a must read I couldn't put it down ,now its on to book two I need to know how this ends This is the first book I've read by Krista Holt and now she's got to be a favourite
Very exciting all the way through, Just when I thought it was all cut and dried, another twist. Couldn't believe it when it ended. Ordered the follow up right then. I can't imagine Nic ever getting her back after how she feels and afraid he will be killed off Here's hoping not.
