This is an interesting story, but it feels more like a synopsis of a movie than a fully developed tale.

The colorful illustrations are amazing, exactly as I would expect from a Disney tale.

Yes, I have read yet another children book. And again I don't regret it because Sofia's and Elena's stories are amusing and adorable.

The illustrations are cute, fortunately Elena's and Sofia's looks don't clash eventhough their series aren't exactly in the same style. I have high hopes for the television special.

And I'm glad my theory about my favorite character is true: He isn't a villain! Get it into your heads, people!

Finally, I know where on earth this new princess came from!
It's a nice story (I have a feeling I'm supposed to have watched a movie?), and a cool origin story for the new princess.
But why does it explicitly say everything happened forty-one years ago? People in town - young people - clearly recognize Elena. Elena and her family (trapped in an amulet and a portrait) don't seem to worry that everyone they knew is dead or much older. And yet the villain ages when her magic is taken away? I don't get it??
