Neck-deep in the hunt for members of Americans for a Were-Free America, FBI Special Agent Samantha Reece discovers she's not the only one on the prowl. The horrific crime scenes the FBI stumble across tell Sam that whoever is pursuing her enemy is more vicious and cold than even this most extreme of hate groups.Forced to protect the very people responsible for training murderers like the infamous Grisly, Sam uncovers a nefarious plot wherein AWFA has been trafficking shifters and vamps into the sex-slave trade.
Unfortunately, someone else discovered the truth first and took it into their own hands to become judge, jury, and executioner. The AWFA Killer is terrifyingly methodical in his cold bloodedness. So many of the murder scenes were far more horrifying than any movie. Can Sam find the AWFA Killer and stop them before it's too late? Can she save the very people crying out for her blood?Either way, it's a risk she's willing to take.

Book two and Sam is looking fine the moles in the FBI. With Grizzly gone Sam now has another killer but this time instead of shifters being torn apart it's AWFA members being hunted (the same people who set Grizzly off on his spree). Not too mention that Alex is finding life being Sam's boyfriend hard with Ben around trying to steal Sam away and then the main vampire decides to come out from under the bed without consulting anyone.
This book flowed easier and faster but that was a nasty cliff hanger to leave us on.
I like this better than the first book. Well thought out, planned and written. I read a lot of reviews about the first book and the author has really taken on board what was said making this book better. I liked it. I will definitely read the next one too!
I really loved this book and was into the story way too much. I loved the characters especially Sam and not too sure of Jix. This is the second book which I didn't realize until too late so I am going to have to read the first one now. But I will leave you with a warning .....This book will leave you hanging at the end.
