Jason Burke (born 1970) is a British journalist and the author of several non-fiction books. A correspondent covering Africa for The Guardian, he is currently based in Johannesburg, having previously been based in New Delhi as the same paper's South Asia correspondent.

An indie published horror story that's sure to hit you right in the nostalgia. Akin to popular 80s slasher style, "Behind Empty Eyes" tells the tale of 5 friends fighting for their lives when a serial killer runs free during Halloween. It's fast paced but keeps you guessing the whole time. Local author, Jason Burke, honors his favorite horror creators before him in this tale of murder and mystery.

Good book, quick read. Keeps you wondering who it is and has some great gore! This book is very nostalgic which is always a fun read in my opinion. I really enjoyed the characters and the town dramas too.
