Laura Lynn Tyler Thompson, co-host for The 700 Club Canada shares her inspiring story of how she was called by God miraculously one night in 1999 to be on TV.
She shares of her devastation so severe that she lived for years believing she would never recover and had permanently disqualified herself from her destiny. She teaches us that every one of us has a gift that we were born to give to the world. When the enemy sees that you are beginning to walk in your call, it can be at this critical time that he sets a snare to rob you of what is rightfully yours. If you become ensnared, you may think it is lost forever. Redemption is when you get it back.
Laura Lynn shares the secrets to rising out of the ashes and fulfilling the great work that God has called you to. Through her story of divorce and abuse and another divorce, Laura Lynn shows the reader that Gods mercy never tires and that He is always waiting for you with open arms ready to redeem.

I I often beat myself up it's the mistakes I've made in the past which were many. Never understanding how Jesus could ever use someone who had in so many ways I thought disqualified themself. I heard the Holy Spirit softly say, if I only chose those who were perfect I would have no one to use. Jesus has used the pen of Laura Lynn and her life to explain and expound on this to me! What a wonderful testimony of God's transformation in a yielded vessel! Thank you Laura Lynn for the transparency
I really enjoyed reading this book. I follow Laura Lynn on X & I watch her videos on Rumble. She is fantastic and has great guests also. She is also very funny. She is a very Godly woman which I really enjoy her sharing the word of God at the beginning and end of every video.
I sacrificed my daily Bible reading time to finish this book. I couldn’t put it down. It was as though I was being led to understand how to use the scripture to interact with God in the most intimate and honest conversations in every circumstance, but especially when I feel I am failing.
One thing I loved about this story and how Laura-Lynn has written it is that we often pray and ask God to intervene in our messes and our failures and mistakes. Then when our situation doesn't change we think He won't, can't or simply doesn't want to help us. Reminiscent of awesome stories like Moses wandering the desert, Abraham and Sarah waiting for a promised child or Joseph knowing God had plans greater than slavery and prison for him; this story tells perfectly that in God's timing we will see the outcome of His ever patient and capable hand at work.
The book is well written and well put together. It is an easy read that keeps you on your toes.
If you love testimonies ... read this book. If you love a happily ever after that isn't a fairy tale ... read this book. But especially read this book if you feel any of those things listed above. If you feel like you are stuck and will never get out ... read this book. God has made a way where there seems to be no way. I promise.

I did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. I found the formal unorganized and not everything flowed well, quite choppy. Formatting and content could use major fixing but it is her first book so I'll give her some slack. It was a little inspirational and I don't doubt it inspires others but just wasn't my cup of tea.
It was an interesting read. A reminder that even when we make mistakes,God's love is still stubbornly holding on to us. A few of her choices caused her demise, but we are not perfect ,God is.
