Well, Reincarnation no Kaben (let's say RnK for shot) has, as the name suggest, reincarnation theme. Indeed, reincarnation stuff may strike you as cliche at first, but this one is interesting in that characters get a 'talent' from their past reincarnation (i.e. legendary sword skills, Mathematician's stats-calculation ability...etc) of famous personalities, not the memories and all that jazz. So, it turns out to be something like an ESP, superpower manga, but at the same time quite different.
In my opinion, though it's better to be original, being cliche doesn't make a manga bad. To me, how it is executed is more important, and the way RnK is executed is so unusual. And, let me emphasise, it is full of marvellous plot twists.
The story is quite on the violent and cruel side, but not all as gory as Another and Kami-sama no Iutoori-esque survival manga. At least, it is not filled with friendship, hard wprk and victory idealism.
but Hyun Soo stoped publishing RnK, probably didn't have much support at moment, but who ever reads this, can't stop thinking about it, but only 37 chapters are you kidding me, that is wack man. i'm kind of curries maybe something happened to Hyu Soo.

Classic reincarnation deal. The 10 first chapters are fun, I can't wait to see where it's going !

Ah, this one is so easy to sell. What could have been a really depressing story ends up putting a smile on your face.
Our story starts with a martial artist, claiming himself to be a "murderer" being defeated in a battle and being reborn as a first born child to a very powerful lord. And what's even more exciting is he remembers his first life!!
This is a really epic story about a man who probably was misunderstood (I am team protagonist, sue me) having a fresh start with a warm family and a little but very cute sister who adorns him. Mankeum decides to use this second chance to become a better person and changes his old ways. While continuing to his martial artist training, he also tries to be a better son, brother and leader to his people.
The story effectively jumps from one period of time to another to show us Mankeum's childhood and teen years. From the very first page you can tell he was really feared and hated in his previous love but at the new one he is kind, warm-hearted, funny and clever. He is also a really capable and sly person which makes sense because he remembers his old life, duh. However, his past life doesnt effect his new one because this new life is truly a second chance and he intends to use it the best way he can. There are moments the story can be cliche but since I adored the characters I didn't mind it a bit.
I love his relationship with his father, caretaker and sister. And there's even romance in the air so cant wait to see how it develops in season 2.
Did I mention this one has martial arts scenes? It has martial arts scenes!! ^^

I love this so much! Currently I don’t have time to finish reading it and it is still ongoing, but I did get pretty far into the released episodes. The art is stunning! The story is brilliant! The characters are so lovable! The idea is unique! I love the spin it took on the common reincarnation trope, and it really was a captivating and enjoyable read! No lie, I would procrastinate so hard by just binging episodes! But it’s not my fault, I couldn’t put it down!! There was action, there was drama, there was heart warming family moments. And I really like the strong family dynamic going on with the main cast. It warms my stone heart every time I read it! 🤧🤧
Anyways, 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves action, family, martial arts, magic, and just great, well put together webnovels/webtoons in general!

Very interesting read. Tells about a man that died from a clash with an monk and reincarnated into a new family and era. Main Character tries to improve and change his lifestyle in this new world. Very nice work from Hyun Soo Yu, check this Webtoon out if you like this kind of read.
