This book is catchy and has a interesting story. It's not one I've read before. So this taboo is new to me. Wasn't that's bad reading it. Kinda hot if you ask me. Glad I read it. Will read more from this author in the future.

Old Temptations By Savanna May is a true Temptation. It is HOT straight out to the gate. This one is Dirty and had me question my life choices. If Carl is an Old Temptation, he can tempt me any time… Hot… SO that being said I could now wish that my father had a hot friend when I was younger. Blair and Carl’s relationship is Hot from the second they hit the dance floor. Even after a 5-year disappearance, they can’t keep their feeling from each other.

The Book is fast pace and one quick and hot read! This is one of these few that you just can’t put down once you get in to the story. Carl is the supportive older man that helps Blair a young women find herself and work through her insecurities with people in general. I can say that this is one of Savanna May’s hottest books and loved it.

A very sweet romance.

Carl is Blair's first and only true love. He disappeared for 5 years. When he comes back he shows up for a wedding she gets roped into being the photographer for by her dad. Carl is her dads best friend. The sparks fly from that point on. A great sweet little read.

She was ready to move forward with a relationship but he left to protect her. 5years later they meet again and decided to give society the finger. Obviously things don't always go smoothly and they have to believe and trust In each other and to hell with what everyone else thinks.

I really enjoyed this book.. Blair and her dads friend Carl have an electric thing going on when they have a dance at her dads wedding.. So instead of Carl getting into trouble since she is under age, he disappears.

This is a nice second chance, older man, younger women love story. I would diffidently recommend it. I volunteered to review an advanced copy of this book

I wasn't sure how I would enjoy the young woman/older man scenario but was very pleasantly surprised with their romance. Carl's emotions are so heartbreakingly real that he isn't expecting Blair's feelings to be reciprocal and when he finds they are he is man enough to give all or nothing! Blair's emotions are rock solid so from page one I was invested in their happiness and each page turned faster and faster until happily ever after was inevitable! This is a heart melting story!

Carl has been best friends with Blair’s dad since before she was born. Blair grew up with a single dad and not exactly the doting kind either. He’s a bit of a scumbag and has little interest in his daughter’s life. He’s much more concerned with where he will find his next trophy wife than with what is happening in Blair’s life.

Carl however has always cared about Blair. He’s made her feel special and loved since she was a child. He gave her the attention and protection that should have come from her father. However as Blair got older and more in touch with her raging teenage hormones, she started to look at Carl much less like a father and more like a handsome prince.

When Blair is 16, they attend a wedding and they continue their longstanding tradition of dancing together, but this dance changes everything between them. They can no longer hide the attraction between them, but since Blair is still underage; Carl stops himself before they get too carried away.

After this wedding, Carl vanishes from Blair’s life for 5 years. No explanation. No note. No phone calls. He just disappears. Then he turns up again at a mutual acquaintance’s wedding and the now 20 year old Blair is thrilled to see him and they quickly pick up where they left off.

The chemistry between Carl and Blair is unreal. The steamy scenes between them are definitely Kindle-melting moments! Carl also has such a sweet side. He has been planning for the day when Blair would be old enough for him to make his feelings known and he wants a future with her. He’s planned for a future with her.

The end of the book was just perfect. It tied up their story and gave us a glimpse into their happily ever after.

This is a very graphic, sexy standalone novella with no cliffhanger and a very HEA. I went into this book not knowing anything about it and not having read any of the author’s other books and I absolutely loved it. I’m a sucker for a sexy, forbidden romance! And also… I may never look at grapes the same again. <3

I'm all for using a thesaurus because I can't stand when the same words are used repeatedly but "tipple" and "aperitif" really ... pretentious much ? That being said I did enjoy this book because I do love a good older man/younger woman story especially when he's a friend of Daddy. Blair is 21 years old, a college student studying to be a photographer. She's always had it bad for Carl, her Dad's BFF and attorney. While her Dad was chasing girls her age and marrying them (he's been married 4 times) Carl was always there for her. Until 5 years ago when he left the city and moved without a word to Blair. She was devastated but didn't want to question her Dad and have him become suspicious. Her Dad talks her into taking a job for a business associate of his and photographing his daughter's wedding. She's shocked to see Carl at the wedding and he confesses to her why he really left 5 years ago. He started developing strong feelings for her and knew he couldn't do anything about it so he had to leave and let her have her own experiences.

Well then this was a story a bit taboo, Blair, always been highly attracted to her fathers good friend (Carl) growing up, she knew it was wrong he was old enough to be her father, in some ways he was like a father to her, but she knew he had the same feelings towards her, one night she acted out on her feelings towards him, her father interrupted the encounter and she didn't see him again for 5 years, not finding a man that could fill Carl's shoes since, she has the opportunity to see Carl again, now that she is all grown and no longer under her father's control shes going to go after Carl and not taking no for an answer, Will Carl be able to control those urges he had from 5 years ago?
This was a hot fast paced short story that had a storyline to go along with it! It wasn't bad! I am not a big fan if the whole call me daddy thing ( creeps me out ) but that's just me! Otherwise this was a good afternoon read with a good HEA

I'm not normally into much older man/younger woman books, but Savannah May has written one that's done so well I didn't mind their age difference. Carl is such a swoony, sexy, sweet hero that it's no wonder Blair fell in love with him!

Carl is her father's lawyer and friend, Blair's known him most of her life. She starts developing sexy feelings for him early on. In some ways he's the good father that her own father isn't, but in other, more important ways, he's the kind of man she wants: sweet, romantic and sexy. But, he disappears from her life one day and she's heartbroken. 5 years later they're reunited and damn, do the sparks fly!! Carl's just as sexy and sweet as he always was and Blair's determined to keep him in her life (and get him into her bed).

The heat between these two is intense, and the emotions even more so. I love their whole relationship and how they fight for each other. Such a great book!

OMG--Savannah May delivers another supremely hot piece of story telling! Some ma be a bit put off by the age difference between Carl and "Angel Baby", the daughter of Carl's best friend (and for many years his employer), but there's nothing wrong when
two souls come together and their hearts beat as one.

Ms. May continues to amaze us with her books which are always entertaining, playing our emotions like a fiddle, and always leaving us wanting more!

Please read this book...then read some more of her work. Every book you read will be 5-star quality...and each one will hold a little more of your heart.

Savannah May's novel get better with each one and I have to say this is my favorite one yet! I like how Savannah writes into the story how the characters struggle and constantly think/feel for one another. Blair is 16 years old at the start of the story and she's drawn to Carl with all his worldly charm. However, after their dance at her father's most recent wedding, he disappears and it's been five years since Blair has seen him. It doesn't stop her from comparing all men to him nor wanting him to return to her. It's a story of real love, despite the difference in age and it's beautifully written.

Blair and Carl seem to always see each other at weddings. This time, it had been more than 5 years since they last saw each other.

Blair had known Carl her whole life. He was her dad's friend and the same age as him. Blair grew up loving Carl in a more than fatherly way. The feelings were mutual so Carl left town until he felt that Blair was ready for him.

Blair was more than ready for Carl to be in her life. She just had a really hard time with trust and being left again. Carl made sure she understood that she was loved and would never be abandoned again.

This is a steamy, sexy, exciting story between two consenting adults. A must read!!!!

I really loved this book. In love age is just a number. Carl is Blair's Dads best friend. Blair has been in love with Carl for a long time. Carl left for five years after they danced together at a wedding. They saw each other a different wedding and danced together again. Blair knew she wanted him. Carl wanted her too but he was afraid Blair didn't feel the same way about him. It's very well written and has a good story plot. I loved the ending. I volunteered to review a copy of this book.

What a delightful story!

Damon and Blair have loved (and lusted after) each other for years....just one problem...he's her Dad's best friend.

Dad's Best Friend Comes Back

Some of the language was a bit overwrought, both too flowery and dithery, in spite of the character being pretty dithery and flowery. The solo first-person POV was grating after awhile, as a result.
