Newly divorced, single mother Kara has a full plate. She’s just inherited her mother’s sweet shop, is trying to learn how to deal with her ex’s new wife, and is being forced to join the PTA to try to get Mary Jane to fit in better at school. The Dame City Attraction Council is hosting the largest opening day parade ever, and even though she managed to mostly avoid them for all of the preparation work that went into being tourist-season-ready, it seems they’ve realized their mistake and they’re coming for her. A kissing booth. A real, pay-to-play kissing booth. Kara finally agrees to do it out of fear of retaliation from the council, even though it means sitting next to a man she’s known for forever but hasn’t actually liked in years. Levi Stone was handed the best hand in life. Born as a good-looking man in a town full of women, he never had to work very hard to get someone’s attention. He’s been called a lot of names because of his love of the opposite sex, most of them by Kara. She’s always been the one woman who couldn’t stand him. Kara Stuart is one of the only women in Dame City he hasn’t at least dated. Even though he’s convinced her he’s not interested in her in the slightest, it still irks him that she’s not the least bit affected by him. He doesn’t need the judgmental, sometimes hot looks she casts his way through her dorky glasses. Try as he might, however, he can’t ignore them. Prying hands get involved and the two are thrust together into a situation they can’t argue their way out of. Coming to an agreement to scratch an itch they both seem to have, they make the best of a bad situation. One and done, they agreed. Unfortunately, now that it’s done, Kara can’t stop thinking about doing it again. They keep finding themselves in compromising positions, despite the fact that they still don’t think they like each other very much. With the town filling up faster than ever, they should both be too busy to entertain the idea of the other. What do they do when they can’t help but gravitate together? Will they be able to ignore the tension and go back to annoying each other from a safe distance, or did they just set something in motion that neither of them are ready for? Tourist season has arrived in Dame City, and there’s nothing like a few thousand strangers and a “ bobbin’ for ball gags” competition to create a little heat.

I absolutely love the Dame City series. They just keep getting better and better. My absolute favorite character is Aunt Mae. She is absolutely hilarious. The thought of a mostly all women town is just brilliant. It is superbly written and the flow of the whole series is awesome. I loved Kara and Levi's characters and the chemistry that they have is explosive. They are hot for each other but we all know how things get in the way. This is one that is certainly worth reading. It is written so if you haven't read the other 3 books it is ok because you won't get lost. I voluntarily review an arc copy of this book.

I enjoy the Dame City series so much. They are light hearted, funny, and kind of goofy. This was another quick read that was over way before I was ready.

I really liked Kara and liked her even more after Miriam brought MJ home. I liked Levi standing up to Kara in order to dispel all of the preconceived notions she had about him. Levi and Kara together was just right. I wish we could have spent more time with them.

To top it all off, crazy Aunt Mae was at it again. There definitely would not be a Dame City without Aunt Mae. I am looking forward to the next book.

These are absolutely the best stories and each one is better than the last..Levi is totally full of sass and sex and Kara once burned twice shy is the mentality Levi has to overcome before claiming her as his! This series makes you laugh out loud and dig through an Atlas to find this remarkable town and it's hilarious citizens!!

I just love these Dame City books. They are funny, exciting, hot and full of surprises. This town is so much fun and all these women make you laugh and see just how good the writing is. I can't wait for the next one every time I finish one. I recommend all of them. “I am voluntarily reviewing a

Changing Your Mind

Dame City gals have kept me entertained and can't wait until the next book.

Lacey had to learn that what happened when she was young and the mistakes made at 18 should not keep you from finding happiness. Tarring all men with the sends of the ones she loved will keep a woman alone.
