While book1 was just an ok read for me, this one was a hit! It was gripping, I couldn’t put it down and left me wanting more. Needless to say, for me it was much better than the previous book.

In first book in the series Lana meets Jack, they start a tumultuous relationship, she falls hard and fast for him and in the end she’s tossed aside by him. Jack had left her one month ago, but Lana is still devastated, trying every day not to think about him and their time together. Even if she’s hurting, she doesn’t hate him, because he helped her in more ways than one. Lana never expected to meet again the enigmatic, sexy firefighter Callum Malone, Jack’s best friend. She never forgot the kiss they shared or how he made her feel. Cal makes clear he’s interested in her, that he wants something more with her than a simple friendship.

“I know Jack hurt you, and yes, he’s my best friend. I know what’s ahead of me when it comes to you, and it’s not going to be easy. We may have some common ground, but we’re different people. If you want to hide, I can’t help with that or allow it .But if you want to run? Fight? Feel something? That’s my department all day long.”

description

I loved Jack and I really liked how his character is portrayed in this installment. One thing that I liked about him is he understands and accepts Lana’s feelings for Jack. He’s not pushy and he doesn’t try to take Jack’s place. He wants his own place in her heart. His character is well developed and it’s not only two-dimensional. He’s sweet and caring, attentive and protective, sensitive and playful. He’s an alpha, but a different kind of alpha than Jack. He doesn’t play mind games like the other man. I really liked this aspect, that they are so different for each other. Cal makes Lana feel alive and I liked that about him - how he tries and how eventually succeeds.

“Tell me what you need and I’ll do my best to give it to you,” he rasped and took a step closer. “You just have to let me know.”

description

Jack forced Lana to grow as a woman, as a person, but Cal gives her strength, love and what she desperately needs, control. I liked how their relationship progressed from some kind of friends to lovers – naturally. I really liked them together. They felt right and I totally get it why Lana fell in love with him.

“I was desperate for more. Desperate to know what it meant to be seen, touched, by this man.“

description

The sex scenes were hot as hell and the chemistry between them off the charts. I also loved all the sweet and tender moments between them. Cal is a sweet man, but he can also be intense.

The suspense element is not very intense here, but is well done and like I mentioned above left me wanting more. Can’t wait to find out who wants to hurt Lana. This installment like the previous one ends with a cliffhanger.

Overall, a great read!

What do you see when you look at me?"
"I see my next mistake."

Wow. I'm honestly shocked at how incredibly much I enjoyed this book. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the previous book too. But something about this one managed to suck me in so completely, I read the entire thing in one sitting. Let me address one major key point here first: I am NOT a reader that likes love triangles. They send me into a stabby and ragey mess that takes me weeks to wade through. I don't touch them with a ten foot pole. If love triangles were a vagina, I wouldn't fuck it with someone else's dick. Are you seeing what I'm getting at here? I don't do them. Period. Unless they're written like they are here. Would I categorize this as a love triangle? Yes and no. Are there two love interests for the heroine? Yes. Are they both present in her life at the same time? No. And you know what, I think that's what I loved. Miss Ryan allowed the reader to truly get to know each man, Jack and Callum, individually in their own books without relationship crossover and angst. She made you feel exactly what Lana is feeling for each man and understand the depths of it, without making it feel one is getting the short end of the stick. These two men were two halves of a whole and such complex characters, that you can't help but be drawn to both of them in their own right.

In the previous book Lana Case fell fast and hard for the mysterious and enigmatic Jack. When Jack leaves her after finding out the full depth of her history with her father and stepbrother, she's devastated. He leaves her picking up the pieces of her hear, unsure whether she'll ever be able to piece herself together. The last man that she expects to come back into her life is the sexy firefighter and Jack's best friend, Callum, who she shared one intense kiss with in the previous book.
I know Jack hurt you, and yes, he's my best friend. I know what's ahead of me when it comes to you, and it's not going to be easy. If you want to hide, I can't help with that or allow it. But if you want to run? Fight? Feel something? That's my department all day long."

While the book is told entirely in Lana's POV, you can see through her eyes exactly what Cal wants and feels.
You want a place to hide? That was Jack. And you're right. He's gone. But I'm the place you can run to. I'm also the one you run from...So go ahead and run, Kitten. But don't think I won't catch you."

Cal is so different from Jack and yet the same. He may not have that all encompassing intensity to him, he definitely has a few demons of his own. He's a man that has no desire for anything longer than a night with a woman, and yet he's enraptured by Lana. He doesn't try to take Jack's place and he doesn't want her to move on; he knows she never will. Jack had too much of her heart. But he does want her to move. He wants her to move to him, he'll help her pick up the pieces. All he wants in return is the place Lana still has in her heart.

I loved how natural the progression of their relationship and feelings for each other went. You never feel like Lana is trying to replace Jack with Cal. Nor do you get the feeling that Cal is some sort of substitute. They may be best friends, but they're also very different men. Cal is by no means anything less than alpha, but his corners are slightly smoother than Jack. He's calmer. But that certainly doesn't mean the man is any less intense in the bedroom.
I kissed him, soft and slow, so contradictory to the way he was taking me. Fast and hard and completely.

I spent the entire book waiting for that other shoe to drop, because you just know that Callum is keeping something from Lana. There's also the continued threat from Lana's psychotic step-brother. As much as I hated her father in the first book, I loathed him in this one. The added element of suspense with whoever is trying to hurt Lana only made for a more interesting read. The romance between Cal and Lana was center stage at all times though...
...I was falling hard for the man that seemed to have a way with picking me up and carrying me when I needed him the most."

Then came that damn cliffhanger. Holy mother of GAH but does this author know how to leave you begging for more. Holy shit!

I am absolutely dying to see how everything resolves in the 3rd book. If you haven't read this amazing author yet, you need to give this a try. I'm completely sucked in!

“I loved him. Had loved him. Maybe a part of me always would.”

This was an adult contemporary romance that picked a month after the end of the previous book.

Lana was strong in this book, even in the wake of Jack leaving her. She did need that strength with Brock’s continued unwanted attention though.

The storyline in this was about Lana starting a relationship with Cal, which I have to say took me a long time to get used to. I just didn’t think it a good idea to start sleeping with the best friend of the man you’re in love with. No matter which way things worked out, there would always be the fact that you know what the best friend looks like naked to make things awkward! We did get lots of steamy sex scenes in this one again though.

The ending to this was a big cliff-hanger, and Lana was definitely in a predicament.

LOVE!!! LOVE!!! After I devoured reading this book, I was hooked and had to message Joya right away and ask when is book 3 ready because I need it STAT!!! Seriously, I was addicted. First, let me start off saying that I am 100% #Team Cal.. **Hint Hint..Joya**

Yours Completely was an amazing scorching hot read and installment. This installment had it all from steam, sexiness, drama, mystery, love and of course tons of emotions. In order to fully enjoy this book, you must read the first book because Yours Completely picks off right where it last left off on Yours Tonight. In this second installment, we get a more in depth look of Lana and Cal and discover what really happened that night when Jack met Lana. I really don't want to spoil the story line because this book is a MUST READ. Ms.Ryan will have you wanting to savor this book. And as for her writing and storytelling, prepare yourselves for one emotional roller coaster where it will have you questioning who to root for: #TeamJack or #TeamCal.

P.S. Joya Ryan- Can I have Cal all to myself? haha =)

3.5 - "I'm. Not. Jack." Stars!

There are three things I know for sure after finishing the second book in the Joya Ryan’s Reign trilogy. Firstly, as always her writing style and story-telling prowess are of the high standard that I have come to expect. Secondly, I am still fully on the fence with this one, in relation to my overall feelings for the storyline, characters and the issues that they are dealing with. And third and finally, I need book three, like yesterday, so I can try and make a fully informed decision about point two!

I’d gotten a taste of candy, and now couldn’t get the sugar off my tongue.

Yours Completely pretty much takes off from where Yours Tonight left off, Jack has been gone a month and Lana is trying to deal with the repercussions. School is the main positive in her life and she throws herself into her studies as a way to take her mind and thoughts away from Jack and the pain his leaving her has caused. But there are positives to be taken from him deciding to remove himself from her life as well. Not the shy, introverted and awkwardly-social woman she once was, a certain strength and dominance has now become and integral part of her personality. Cal is gradually ingratiating himself into her life as well, but the pressure and demanding nature that she was used to from Jack, has been replaced with joviality and fluidity with Cal.

”It’s hard letting go of certain things, even the good moments you’re holding on to aren’t worth the pain they cause now.”

There are a lot of threads in the tapestry of this story that still need to be tied off, and because there is so much going on I am interested to see if at the end of the series the finished picture offers clarity for all that has happened so far. We have Lana’s original familial issues very much in the fore, as well as the hints that her BFF may be keeping a few secrets herself, the collapse of her relationship with Jack, the building of her relationship with Cal. All of these factors and a few more are all very up in the air at this point, as well as once again the author finishing the book on one whopping cliffy.

I liked Cal, but then again I liked Jack, they both bring out sides to Lana that she has been sorely missing, confidence, happiness, fun and willingness to be a different person and do things that would have pushed the old Lana firmly back into her shell and behind closed doors.
Lana herself spends a lot of the book comparing Cal and Jack, and it isn’t a difficult thing to do, whereas one is dark the other is light, both are dominant, both want to protect and take care of her, and as

Yours Completely progresses you realize that just like Jack did, Cal is also keeping secrets from her.

He walked a fine line of control and casual. Alpha and sensitive. He gave me credit, yet played the role of protector. He was so… easy.

The last 20% of the book really moves the pace up to breakneck speed, and everything seems to go from a sedate trot too an all-out sprint. A lot has happened, I think there is a lot more to come, and I have absolutely no clue, not one, as to where Joya is going to take Lana’s story next. Tough decisions are expected, emotional upheaval a certainty, but where it will finish for this trio is one prediction I just have no inkling on how to call.

”I’ve got this…”

I received this eARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

5 Magnificent Stars!
Brilliant, Sexy, Fun, Angsty and Intense. Absolute Perfection!

The Review:
My mind is in a complete tail-spin right now. This was an amazing read! From beginning to end, it captivated me, tied me up in knots and had all my lusty bits begging for more. I loved every single moment and now I’m torn!

When I first read the blurb, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get through this read. In book one, we fall in love with Jack and Lana so I knew in this book, having a different love interest for Lana was going to be hard. But the author did such a great job with Cal’s introduction in book one that I already adored him and I was anxious to see how this all played out.

I was NOT disappointed. I completely fell in lust, then in absolute love with Cal. He went from this adorably hot firefighter with a penchant for flirting to this amazing, intriguing and totally yummy hero that had me swooning on every page. He was sweet, kind, considerate and loving. He was dominant but also let Lana take the reigns because he could see her struggle with gaining back her self worth and power. He has a dark past and he’s been hurt in ways that have scarred him for life so when Lana comes to him, broken and hurting, he knows just how to help her. He’s there to comfort her, protect her and love her and it was beautiful to watch him help her shed her depression and regain her trust in herself.

And let’s not forget to mention their love scenes. Their chemistry was off the charts, panty-combusting hot!

But ever present in the background of their romance, was this exciting bit of mystery surrounding certain events happening in Lana’s life. You can literally feel the build up and suspense as a danger you're not quite certain of looms over the whole story. The author did this brilliantly, giving us little pieces to tie us over until something else happened.

Lana is just trying to make peace in her life but she seems to have it coming from all sides. She has the evil step-brother, Brock, in one corner. Cal who wants to love her in another corner. Jack who’s left her. A wicked step-mother giving her evil glares, a dispassionate father who seems to care more for his step-family and their money than his own flesh and blood daughter, and the beautiful Bea who’s ready to help pick up the pieces and become the mother figure Lana has always wanted.

Each piece of this story gets more and more intriguing and complicated.

And then the big whammy! When the climax finally happened, I fist pumped and yelled “I Knew It!” I knew there was something like that in the work but I was pleasantly surprised at how the author handled it because all the build up left me floored.

And that ending? Holy hell! Who saw that coming, because it wasn’t me!

The Wrap Up:
This story encompasses everything I love in a read. It had fun parts, sexy parts, lots of angsty parts which thrilled my little angst-loving heart, it had intrigue and mystery and danger and wayward souls just trying to make it through the stages that is “life”.

And of course it leaves off on a major cliffy so I’m going to be waiting anxiously for the next book. Joya Ryan, you seductress and brilliant wordsmith, you have won my heart once again with your characters and story. I’m in awe!

SCORCHING READ!!! I do believe this book should come with a warning label attached to it...my eyes and fingertips have been permanently scorched by the HOTNESS that is Mr. Callum Malone!!!!!

This book has been lingering with me for well over a week now, and I have been trying to figure out how to write a review that would do it justice! And all I can say is that you NEED to pickup this book and read it. I devoured it in one day and it left me breathless! It completely surpassed any of my hopes or expectations of what I thought would happen in the story!

The first book ("Yours Tonight") in this series was centered more around the relationship between Lana and Jack, and we got small glimpses of Mr Callum Malone. But in this second book you get a more in depth and very personal look at the relationship between Lana & Mr Callum Malone!! And let me forewarn you...it gets REALLY personal and very HOT!!!! I won't share any of the juicy little specifics with you, but I will HIGHLY recommend that you get your hands on this book! Definitely the best series I have read so far this year!!

I'm struggling with my feelings about this book. I loved Lana and Callum but didn't exactly love them together. Well...that's not right. I didn't love HOW they got together. Lana is on the heels of her breakup with Jack and Callum essentially becomes her rebound lover cum boyfriend. Part of her heart still belongs to Jack but then she gives the other half to Callum whom she has always had a strong attraction for. There is still drama in the story and her step brother Brock is still very much a thorn in her life. He has even infiltrated her one sanctuary, her course work, by dating her graduate adviser and friend. Brock uses every opportunity to torment her and even tries to turn her friend against her. Through it all, Callum is in her corner. But Lana finds out something that absolutely wrecks her...and this time completely because now the other half of her heart is broken too. Aaaaaaand, Jack is back...wanting to claim the woman he still loves. But of course it can't be that easy and we are left with another cliffhanger in anticipation for book three *angry sigh*...but I totally want to see how this story ends.

I don't what I actually read. I'm forced to compare it to The Deal because it's the same premise. A girls gets raped and she has to try to deal with it with this new relationship. While The Deal was more awesome, this is the other type of books that deal with this issue through "sex" scenes. The heroine is whiny and so vanilla. Spending so much time inside her head was really boring. That is without mentioning the part where she sleeps with the best friend after she broke up with his best friend. "We both wanted you" then "we had to share you" *gag*

I mean the whole book wasn't that great with the character development especially with Lana. She was as whiny in the beginning as she is the end. I feel like this was a huge waste of time.

Too much drama that relied heavily on erotic scenes. if it's your thing go for it.

This book was better than book 1 but only marginally. Cal was definitely sexy and got me through this book. My opinion on Lana is, sadly, still the same as with book 1. Weak, weak, weak. She talks a good talk but doesn't seem to follow through on trying to be strong. Apparently, I have low tolerance for weak heroines these days.

I don't think I can handle Lana for another book, even if it's to find out which guy gets her. I just can't.

Oh wow....did not see that coming. I love that this book is full of love, lust, heartache and suspense. I really don't like either Cal or Jack right now after what the did to Lana and hope they make it up in the last book. I was really rooting for Cal. Now Jack is back...ARGH!!!!
On a different note...Lana has changed so much from the first book. Finally taking her life in her hands and doing what she feels is right. Her damn step brother needs to die!!!!
On to the next one

Originally posted on my blog: Tangled Up In Books

I received a copy of this book, from the author, in exchange for an honest review. In no way did this sway either my review or my rating!

It really starts to become a challenge to write a review for a book when it falls in the middle or towards the end of a series. Especially a series like this where both my heart and mind are all caught up in them and all I want to do is talk to people about all the things and all the feelings . Feelings for this book are something have an abundance of. Both books in this series really.

After finishing Yours Completely, my heart is very conflicted. I have these three brilliant characters, yes there is a love triangle here, but the thing is I'm attached to all three of them. I've touched on this before in my review of the last book but each one has their own tragic and emotional backstory that have more than once brought me to tears. Lana has grown so much since the fist book. She's gone from this scared, sort of introverted character with zero self esteem and very understandable intimacy issues, to someone who, though not perfect at it, is learning to speak her mind and embrace her feelings. She's more confident and secure within herself and in her own skin and she's become a real fighter. Very empowered.

What's a good love triangle without two amazing guys right? Guys who are complete opposites. One is night the other is day, one is dark, but a good kind of dark and the other is light. In Yours Tonight the focus was on Jack. Jack owns a chain of resorts and is more of a suit and tie kind of guy. He's very alpha and serious, powerful, controlling or maybe commanding would be a better word because controlling sounds so negative and that's not how I mean it at all. He's protective and charming. He has this ability to take over a scene when he's on the pages, his presence is just larger than life like that. I do love a good alpha male but really it was Jack's backstory and childhood and the effects that are still very much part of his day to day that really got to me and helped work his way into my heart.

Then there's Callum, who we get to meet on a couple different occasions in the first book, but really get to know in Yours Completely. If Jack is night, then Cal is day. Cal is an adrenaline junkie firefighter, I'll just let you embrace that little nugget for a moment. All kinds of sexy, am I right? Have you recovered from that thought yet? Ha! Anyway, Cal also has alpha male tendencies, but it's not overwhelming and doesn't define him. He's so sweet that it makes my heart ache and he's got this funny and playful side that I cannot get enough of. Patient, protective and reliable. It's not just Cal's past that's had me falling hard for him it's in his actions, his presence and his personality. He's kind of the whole package.

The intensity really built up in this one! And I'm not just talking intimacy wise, though not gonna lie...wow on that front as well. But I was on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding. There were so many elements of danger with psychotic stalkers and break ins and other spoilery type things that I can't name. I was truly fearing for Lana's safety through a lot of this story. And the crazy isn't even finished yet! If anything the what-the-eff cliffhanger at the end of Yours Completely just goes to show that we're going to be in for another wild and exciting ride in Yours Forever. I cannot wait!!

I'm not sure what's going to happen next. Which guy Lana is going to end up with? Either way it goes will be equally good and bad in my opinion, though if I'm going to be completely honest I am quite smitten with Callum Malone. Maybe if Lana ends up with Jack though I'll just keep Cal for myself ;) The only thing I know for sure is it's going to be intense and feelings will be involved and more than likely thoroughly smooshed. And I have a feeling I'm going to love every minute of it.

Thank you so much Joya Ryan for this ARC! I adore you lady and I can't wait to see how you bring this series to a close!!

Arghhhh, cliffie!!!! That was huge, painful and hopefully will be resolved very soon with the release of Yours Forever.

Lana is loved by two men who are best friends and as close as brothers. One has broken her heart and has left her reeling from his departure and the other is now picking up the pieces. Can Lana move on from Jack into Cal's arms to ease the heartbreak from Jack's departure? Can Lana trust again and more specifically, can she trust Cal?

I was hesitant to read this next instalment. I loved Yours Tonight and Jack but knowing that the gorgeous Cal, firefighter extraordinaire, was waiting in the wings, had me torn and I really couldn't get my head around Lana simply moving on from Jack to Cal. But that is exactly what she does, not exactly easily but with Cal determined to help and support Lana with the aftermath of Jack and knowing she was attracted to Cal from their first meeting at the fire station, Lana slowly starts to let go of her resentment towards Jack and falls gracefully into Cal's arms. Cal is the opposite to Jack, he gives Lana strength to fight, strength of live and most of all a determination to deal with her step-brother, Brock.

There is an underlying theme throughout this story though that Lana has simply been passed from one friend to the other so it came as no surprise to see that Jack still cares for Lana but who will she choose? Can she love two men? Can she trust either man ever again? Oh, so many questions but first, I need that cliffie resolving. If Lana's danger is not coming from Brock then who could be the new face of her nightmares?

A well written and thought out story that is captivating and enthralling but too short! I loved Jack's character and now I love Cal. Who would you choose? Would you choose? Could you choose?

"Jack had left a month ago. Actually, it was four weeks and three endless days ago, and no matter how many times I was told it would get easier, it still hurt to breathe past the pain."

Anxiety . . . Love triangles give me so much anxiety! I was so nervous the whole time reading it! But I have to say it was fabulous! As much as I loved Jack in Yours Tonight he broke my heart, and much like Lana Cal helped put it back together.

"Cal was the epitome of fun, but he was also hard to be around. Because every time I looked at him, my mind wondered about things it shouldn't."

Lena's world is crashing around her. The man she was in love didn't fight for her and left and the step-brother who has made her life hell is tormenting her. Only one man can make her forget her problems and get lost in the moment. But while Cal makes everything better he also makes it so much more complicated too! When you fall in love with the best friend of the man you thought you could love forever life will never be simple or easy.

"What do you see when you look at me?" "I see my next mistake."

As I stated in the beginning of this review I have a hard time with love triangles and while this series is one it also isn't. There is no cheating and no crossover in the stories really. Each man has their own book and their own time to prove their worth but that being said until I finish the series and know how it all ends my nerves for these fictional characters will be out of control. I love them and this explosive situation they have found themselves in.

"Kitten,"

Kitten. That word alone would make any woman's panties drop. Cal was all man and oozed sex. He got me excited and all kinds of hot and bothered. The sex scenes were both intense and at times fun. Cal for all his jovial tendencies really turns into a lust inducing alpha in the bedroom and I for one am all for it!

"I want to not want you the way I do."

Joya Ryan has writing a captivating and dynamic story that leaves you wanting more and desperate to the end. While this has been my first series from this author I can guarantee it will not be my last!

Yours Completely was the second book in the Reign Series and if you thought the first book Yours Tonight ended with a mind aching cliffy oh you just wait because this one about killed me! I would give this book a 4.5 stars and would recommend to others. When I started book 1 I never imagined the road this book was going to take.. it has turned into a massively messed up love triangle that will have your head spinning on who Lana should choose.. although this book was more about the relationship that gets built with Cal you will still feel the loss of Jack. To be completely honest I am having a mind blow of a time trying to figure out who is the better guy here... And believe me your gonna be team Jack.. then Team Cal.. and you will not know what to do. So lets hope in the third book Yours Forever that I can finally decide because damn this ending set me off big time!

This book will pick up right where Yours Tonight left us.. Jack left without a trace and who is there to pick up the pieces.. Cal the sexy fireman and Jack's best friend. What started out as a friendship for Lana turned into more than she ever bargained for... but when danger lurks and secrets come out and pasts come back... pieces of a a puzzle that Lana didn't realize was happening will start to fall in place and again she won't know where to turn or who to turn too.....and all puzzles pieces haven't even been revealed yet. What will happen when she finds out that things she thought were true were just a lie and more than one person had been deceiving her?

Twist and turns will leave you swaying and yelling at this poor author because your going to have another WTF moment... I know I did... but im intrigued I have to know how this ends.. I have to know comes next and dammit If I don't make up mind soon on who I love more out these men.. There has to be some grand gesture to come right??!! Joya Ryan you are a new author to me and when I say I love to hate you please understand this is a good thing... my brain can't take the turmoil anymore I have to get the third book ASAP!

After Jack left Lana threw herself back into her thesis and that is what she needed to do to make the pain of her broken heart to heal but of course you know from the emotional roller coaster from Yours Tonight that was not going to be possible. Harper tries to get Lana to move on from Jack by going to a Halloween Party but little did she know that Cal was back from the wildfires.

Can Call be the one to heal Lana's broken heart or would he be the one to take the last piece of her heart she has left and shatter it completely !! When she gets to see the real Cal, the family Cal with his Aunt Bea and being around his Fire Fighter Family, Lana knows he is the man that will always have her heart, chase after her when she runs and will protector from her horrible family. She feels like she finally belongs to a loving family. But little does she know that after a incident with her step brother Brock and her advisor Erica that her world would start to crumble all over again. But can Cal save her this time or will one simple text ruin her happiness with Cal and her future with him or Jack....yes Jack.....

The emotional roller coaster from brook 1 continues and this time I am not sure we will survive till book 3 ?? Joya your writing again with the ups....downs....highs....(ladder)....lows....love....hearts....tears I felt every emotion reading this installment and I hope my heart can hold out till Yours Forever.... Loved It Completely !!

Yours Completely is book #2 in The Reign Series by Joya Ryan. Yours Completely starts off where Yours Tonight left off.
Lana is left broken hearted when Jack leaves her. Lana has been tossed to the side one to many times. Her own Father wants nothing to do with her and the love of her life walks away from her. Can Jack's best friend, Cal, swoop in and be the person missing from Lana's heart? Will Jack return and try to win Lana back? Will Lana's Father finally believe her? Will Brock try and seek revenge on Lana? These are some of the questions I was wondering before reading Yours Completely. Some of my questions were answered and some will be answered in book #3. I can not wait for the third book in this amazing series!!! This book was a page turner that's for sure. It was a fantastic book and I can not wait for more!! Joya Ryan is a very talented author and I will be recommending her and her books to everyone!!

This story just keeps getting better! There is so much going on and Joya continues to keep up with everyone and everything. I am loving the relationship between Cal and Lana. Much better than I liked Jack and Lana. Cal and Lana have such a deeper connection because of all the time they spend together outside of a sexual relationship. Lana is welcomed in to the family by Aunt Bea. Lana is overcome because she has not had that sense of family in a very long time. She has almost forgotten how it felt to just belong somewhere. Her world is rocked yet again by Brock, the evil stepbrother. I really just wish someone would take him out. I am not liking him at all. Of course with all good series, there is a big plot twist and cliffhanger! It was a doozy! I am very excited to see where these characters will go from here.

Joya Ryan has done it again with Yours Completely, part 2 in the Reign Series. The addictive story of Lana, Jack and Cal continue. Be prepared to be captivated by this emotionally intense roller coaster. When the ride ends it keeps you begging for more.

This series has become one of my favorites! I couldn't get enough. Joya Ryan has outdone herself this time. I was totally completely captivated by these characters. When I was done reading I woke up with a book hangover. Nothing will compare to what you just read. This is a must read! Bravo!!!!

ARC provided by author for an honest review.

A truly amazing read. I felt as though I was grabbed in the gut and not let go for this entire book. The intensity and range of emotions is unbelievable. The psychological twists alone are wrenching.

When an author paints a word picture so vividly that you can hear the sound and smell the scent of the scene, you know you have a winner.

No spoilers here but a definite MUST READ!!

This was a great continuation of Lana's story and I was so happy to get to know Cal more. He was one character that I really liked in the first book, don't get me wrong I liked Jack too but I have a weak spot for a firefighter. The twist and turns were great, nothing like I thought, and the end....OMG.... I need the next book!!!

"What do you see when you look at me?"

"I see my next mistake."

Surprisingly I very much enjoyed the story. I enjoyed the previous one as well, but knowing the second focused on a different man made me wonder if the idea of two very different love interests would sit well with me. I'm not one for love triangles, or ménage à trois. I do not find love triangles cute, I do not find them enticing; I find them irritating. Unless they are written in the way Joya Ryan did with Yours Tonight and Yours Completely. But would I really classify it as a love triangle?

Not really. Why? Because Jack isn't in the story for pretty much all of it. But does the heroine have two love interests? Absolutely. And that was the great thing about the series so far. Joya Ryan allows you to learn about each man, Jack and Callum, equally and separately without any relationship angst, crossovers or unconventional drama. I can tell you both men are similar, yet uniquely different. Both men are damaged and mysterious. You can't help but be drawn to them equally. You essentially feel what Lana feels for Jack and Callum.

I didn't want to get caught up in feelings again, because it hurt way too much when the curtain fell, the bliss was over, and all that was left was a soul-deep kind of freeze that cracked my bones.

In the previous installment, Lana Case fell fast and hard for the enigmatic and elusive Jack. But when Jack leaves, supposedly for business, after learning the full extent of her history with her father and stepbrother, Lana was left devastated. She was left alone, forced to pick up the shattered pieces of her heart and unsure whether she would find them all to piece herself back together. But someone returns, the last man she expected to reenter her life: Callum, the sexy firefighter and Jack's best friend who she shared one intense kiss with one night.

"Tell me what you need and I'll do my best to give it to you," he rasped and took a step closer. "You just have to let me know."

"You want a place to hide? That was Jack. And you're right. He's gone. But I'm the place you can run to. I'm also the one you run from... So go ahead and run, Kitten. But don't think I won't catch you."

Callum has a distinctly different, yet similar personality to Jack. He might not have the same encompassing intensity or elusiveness, but he definitely has a few demons hiding in the shadows. For a man who's known as a womaniser, Callum appears enraptured by Lana. Callum doesn't try to replace Jack, or encourage Lana to move on from her former love; he knows she never will. Jack owns too much of her heart. But he does want her to move. In return he just wants a small piece of her heart.

I just wanted to feel something good. And Cal was beyond good. He was an escape I couldn't get anywhere else.

I loved how natural the relationship and feelings between Lana and Callum was. You never believed Lana was trying to replace Jack with Callum. Nor do you have the feeling that Callum was a substitute. Despite Jack and Callum being best friends, they are very different men with very different backgrounds. Don't get me wrong, Callum has the whole Alpha male persona going on as well, but he has smoother edges. Definitely calmer, but not less intense, especially within the bedroom.

I begged for more. Couldn't get enough. I wanted to feel all his strength. His anger. His punishment. I wanted to feel the pain I caused him. Pain I'd been caused. All of it melded together into something I didn't understand, and I just wanted that sting of release. The line of pleasure and pain.

I spent the entire story waiting for something bad to happen. You just know Callum has some secret, something deep that he's keeping from Lana. Not only that, there's an even bigger issue: Lana's psychotic step-brother. Since she has an estranged father, the only person Lana can turn to for help is Callum. If you hated Lana's father in the first novel, you'll probably still hate him in the second. Don't worry though, the romance between Callum and Lana doesn't get overshadowed by the suspense and problems arising.

...I was falling hard for the man that seemed to have a way with picking me up and carrying me when I needed him the most.

I will warn you: there's a horrible cliffhanger at the end! I can tell you Joya Ryan does a good job at leaving you on the edge of your seat. I'm eager to find out how the rest of the series unfolds, especially after some revelations and events.

the 1st book in this series got me grabbing for the 2nd book immediately.

I have to admit, I was disappointed at first when I learned that this book is about Lana and Cal..but the more I read this book, I fall a little bit more for Cal too. I never know how it feels like to move on, but I think this book just gave me the most vivid explanation on what it would feel like to love someone again.

Finished this book within the day, I just can't put it down. Can't wait to start on the 3rd and final book in this series.

So glad I stumbled upon this author and series.

Really?

I'm not truly a fan of books where the girl or guy finds someone else so I had to push myself to read this book in spite of that and I'm glad I did. That little bit of suspense in this book kept me held on.

Great story.

A nice twisted romance. Some predictable things in the story line, but it was an easy and enjoyable romance book. We are Leftbwith a great cliffhanger!
