" Just the right balance of wit, action and back story... A solid story, witty dialog, fist fights, beautiful women, art, stolen beer kegs, a mob connection and a surprise ending. What could be better?" - J. Michael Orenduff, author of the "Pot Thief" series.

For lovers of Robert B. Parker, John D. MacDonald and Sue Grafton, this private eye series offers a steady stream of action and adventure, humor and even some romance.
Q- Why do readers relate to Quinn? He's an ex-con.
A - He's a guy who made a mistake, and no one is harder on Liam than Liam, I think -- at least in the first few books. And he's got a big, troublesome extended family. I was trying to capture that feeling we've all had at some point around the dinner table or at a family event, when you know you really love them but boy, what you wouldn't give to say what you're really thinking!
Q - For a guy who fights so much, he's kind of a big softy! Was that deliberate?
A - He developed as a character based on a backstory and a family history that I had pretty firmly in mind; but by having once been a champion boxer, it gave me a chance to let him handle disputes without using a gun, a definite necessity for an ex-con. I like to think he's his parents' son.
Q - So why should I try them?
A - Because you're looking for a fun read, with lots of action and a mystery to test your sleuthing. If you like books by Gregory McDonald, Janet Evanovich or Stuart Woods, you'll enjoy Quinn.

QUINN CHECKS IN. Question is why would a crook come into an art gallery take down a painting and remount it. Doesn’t seem like an ordinary job, a small gallery that had a expensive painting. Checking, the owner of the painting is in financial trouble, and there are also other things and people that he questions. Good flowing plot, setting up for the series so we know about him, and how to do investigation.
QUINN. GETS HIS KICKS
Quinn knew Junior and his brother that doesn’t speak to him, called him to come ID the body. The kid had a lot going for him in the ring, at home he was a punching bag for his dad. Got hooked on drugs even got married, and they straightened there lives out. Who is setting the kid up, with dope in his pocket. His parents are happy he is working with his cop brother . Enters a lot of interesting people and mobsters in this story. Good second book, full of action.
QUINN GOES WEST
Quinn taking any job he can, needing rent money. Guy died in Phoenix and had a lot of art. His wife is wanting someone to appraise them. 163 paintings of which the 164 th one is missing., three hours later, he figured 17.3 million worth or more. The wife questions him dying in a tanning bed, and then a painting at the spa goes missing. She read the policy if foul play, it goes up three times. Finding the husband was in a fraudulent deal. Quinn had a car chase, shits fired at him, dragged to the desert. All in doing another case, that was interesting.
This was three of the stories, and all have been worth reading. They keep you interested, and wondering how much trouble Quinnwill get into to solve the cases.

Great,selection of stories

I enjoyed all of the stories in this selection. The author has a good feel for the harc-boiled detective style of novel, and the protagonist is an engaging character. My only complaint would be the excessive number of typos, incorrect spelling and word usage, and a couple of inaccuracies relating to the meanings of certain Asian words or phrases. But if that sort of thing doesn't bother you too much, I am sure you will enjoy the stories within.
