NO - If you’re looking for a nice comfortable ebook about Project Boards that give you enough project jargon - such as ‘Charter’, ‘PID’ and ‘Sprint’ - that you appear to be knowledgeable, then this isn’t it.
NO – If you’re looking for an ebook that will cover Project Boards in two pages of generalised information so you can believe that you don’t need to put in any real effort to understand your role properly, then this isn’t it either.
NO - If you’re looking for an ebook that says you can sit back and let the Project Manager run the project until the end, when you step in to cut the red ribbon and take all the credit then sorry, this still isn’t it.
YES - If you want an ebook that will explain your important - actually vital - role on the Project Board and that will help you function both effectively and confidently so you can make a major contribution to project success then welcome, because this is it.
You’ll find a lot to help here by way of clear information, helpful explanation and really practical guidance. But be warned too because, like Nick’s training events for Project Board members, he doesn’t pull any punches here. You’ll find some tough messages and hard hitting cartoons included, and there’s no apology for that. But the overall tone is informative, helpful and friendly, and of course even the tough messages are there to help you get things right.
