“UNSTOPPABLE” part two! In the shocking conclusion to this story, the unstoppable juggernaut carves a new path toward Aquaman’s hometown of Amnesty Bay. So far, Arthur’s attempts to halt the creature have been fruitless, but to save his friends and neighbors, the sea king must do the unthinkable.
So Aquaman gets arrogant enough to risk the lives of all people in his hometown of Amnesty bay , and not ask for help and than beat the Shaggy Man all on his own , but while doing so is hilariously beaten to a pulp and treated like a Rag-doll by the Chewbacca look-alike that can even be beaten by Batman at ease .
Yeah i know the story seems absurd and most of what was on display was fairly average stuff , but somehow it was also kind of entertaining so all-in-all a better offering from Abnett than the last few issues
Aquaman is beaten to a pulp against a villain quite similar to Doomsday, only he is more z grade. I wanted to like this issue but it lacked any real menace and the pacing was all over the place. Mera is benched here and her storyline is a little boring.
Not sure where Abnett is going with all this Justice League drama, but I'm interested to find out. Also interested to see what that ending means for Mera's dumb training or whatever.
