Reading Parfit brings together some of the most distinguished scholars in the field to discuss and critique Derek Parfit's outstanding work, Reasons and Persons.
A compilation of thirteen interesting essays on Parfit's work, particularly his Reasons and Persons. The essays span all four topics of Reasons and Persons and are, for the most part, quite illuminating. Most - but not all - of them are written well, and are about as easily read as this sort of philosophy can possibly be. Overall, a worthwhile read, particularly for anyone interested in moral theories, rationality, personhood, and population ethics.
