The heroine Blaire is scared of Alphas, due to a traumatic event in her childhood. She meets her mate Darren. He's an Alpha. She just stays scared of him. She's constantly cowering in fear of him. Not just because of PTSD, but because he actually is constantly annoyed and angry with her. So it's chapter after chapter of Blaire ready to piss herself every time Darren talks. He doesn't do anything to try and put her at ease. He THINKS she should be at ease with her mate. But he growls and yells and gets angry with her constantly. He doesn't DO anything to help the situation. (Wattpad)

Ack so embarrassing that I read this stuff. My younger self would just die, but man do I love werewolf fanfiction.... it's cheesy, and the relationships are usually really disfunctional, but oh well I DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO MUCH FUN. And I wasn't going to even put this on goodreads, but I am behind on my reading challenge, and my reading goal pride is bigger than my embarrassment of cheesy werewolf fanfics (aka my guilty pleasure)
