Rate this book
If you would love to be back to the size you were in high school , but you feel too self-conscious to waste money on a gym membership….then you want to read this book.

Have you ever felt like you’re “not good enough” or “not strong enough” or “never skinny enough” to sign up for the gym?

Maybe you just don’t have the extra time or energy to spend an hour there every night?

You are not alone.

More than 80% of Americans are out of shape and overweight. And being fat is as deadly as being a smoker.

The future is scary when you’re unhealthy. It’s time to reverse your fate.

You are not the problem. It’s your “inner game” that is sabotaging your results and preventing you from finally getting the body of your dreams.

If you're tired of repeating the same mistakes that destroy your health and self-confidence, this book is the practical guide for you.

Even the bargain basement “gyms” will charge you 20x the value of this book. Don’t do it! “Belonging” to a place where you don’t feel comfortable is the worst investment you can make.

With this guide, you can feel terrific and turn heads any time, any place, anywhere… without starving yourself or ever stepping foot inside a gym!

I’ll show how I dropped two inches off my waist in the first 14 days. And how I gained 8 pounds of lean muscle in 4 weeks, without ever lifting a single weight.

Imagine transforming your body into a fat-burning machine and restoring the sex appeal you enjoyed when you were younger.

Imagine having instant energy, a boost of endurance, and discovering a breakthrough in your self-confidence.

Imagine being in the best shape of your life in just weeks, instead of years.

With the Selfish Workout Guide , it is all possible. Now you can look your best, feel stronger, and build more lean muscle at home in a fraction of the time.

Unless there are two books identical in covers, this was nothing but a free ad for a book you then had to pay for. Bait and Switch. Don't bother. I wish there was a way to add screenshots on Goodreads. I've left a one star review on Amazon and will be alerting them to this scam. Also contacting instafreebie where the free copy was distributed.

Instafreebie has responded to my email and will be settling the matter after the holidays.

Not really a guide

There were a few pics of some exercise moves. Most of the book was spent getting you pumped up to find a workout plan that you like doing. You're time would be better spent getting an app, book, DVD or online subscription and just actually doing it, than reading this.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of The Selfish Workout Guide.

What I like about this book is that the author is highly motivational, it's an easy read, and the guidance that is shared is helpful. Getting healthy and fit isn't just physical, it's an emotional journey and the author Nicholas Caldwell brings that home.

Mr. Caldwell has created a workout book that can be used by anyone. Although the exercises in the the book don't work for me, the philosophy he teaches does. It's a good motivator, and I'm now looking to restart an exercise routine tailored to what I can reasonable do, given my physical limitations. Will I make progress as fast as he did? No, but that's all right. If I follow the philosophy he puts forth, I will still make progress and improve my health as well as my body. The companion book (there is a link in the eBook version of this book) takes it further and helps you prepare goals and an action plan, which can be adjusted as one's fitness level improves. Mr. Caldwell discusses how to constantly make progress and not be stuck on a plateau, which is one thing I've had trouble overcoming in the past. I am looking forward to implementing this method and seeing what I can do to improve my life.I received a free copy of this book. I am voluntarily choosing to review it.

Impressive...

I like Nick because he writes like a friend that's talking to you in person.

This book is great. It includes his before and after pics, personal stories, and his unique, clever writing style. Honestly, it's a great book. Non-threatening for the average guy or girl that wants to get into shape but that's intimidated by the gym.

Good read with good tips

Helpful insight and some helpful exercises. Was hoping to see more exercise routines and it would been helpful to have quick access charts for those exercises versus hunting thru the book. Overall good read though.
