Flotilla #1

Making Waves

Rate this book
Lenore Statham, the runner for the Flotilla Project, had been at her lowest when she was found by Angie Wells and Paya Doshi and brought into the fold. She learned how to be strong again and break the shackles her old life had hobbled her with. While Paya is out making waves in London, Lenore is assigned as the driver for the contractor, McGrath, who is renovating a building for the Flotilla, which will allow people who had fallen upon hard times to have a place to call their own. The problem? Lenore finds McGrath to be the most infuriating, cocky, and egotistical woman on the planet. They mix like oil and water and Lenore wants nothing more than to throw a match on the mixture and be done with the woman. She just can’t figure out what it is that boils her blood around McGrath, though apparently all of her smug and smiling friends have an inkling… The Flotilla series is a spinoff of the bestselling London Harmony series.

Sweet

As usual Erik gives us characters to cheer for and fall in love with. The story of Lenore and McGrath is fun and sweet, the girls have a sarcastic sense of humor and a great sense of love and honor for their friends and family. Another beautifully written story.

Great stuff

I enjoyed this story and characters. I liked that we got to see a bit more of what the flotilla is doing. These stories are always like a trip to visit old friends.

I'm getting confused by the order, what should be read when, but actually it doesn't matter: Erik's books equally annoy me & I love - a bit like the relationship in this book! Keep them coming!

A spin off of a spin-off. Another cute story. I "read" via Audible. I know it will be a long wait but it will be nice when / if all the books of the Music of the Soul will be available on Audible. I really enjoy them all. I just put a flow chat together for my self to chart out the reading order. Each book can be read as stand alone but with the ever expanding world Mr. Schubach has created. I want to be able to know all of the players.

Brilliant.

I thought I had left my review I am on my fourth read .I love these books and everyone in them. i.love the main character but all the support characters are just as important.they are the heart of the stories. There is always a history lesson the work and research that goes into these books is amazing. And of course the love stories that are the heart of the books .Deserved a lot more than five stars.Read and enjoy.

Wonderful story

This was a great addition to the Flotilla series. The characters were strong, the story deep enough to pull the characters out and keep you reading. I love these books and this series. Looking forward to the next episode!
