I will give you time, Jasmine, but I'm not a patient man, believe me when I say I will make you mine in every way, it’s only just a matter of time...”
Quill Owen wasn’t looking for love, but when innocent and beautiful Jasmine Marques turns up to his father’s hotel, he finds that he cannot ignore the unfamiliar feeling that’s burning within. He wanted her and he wasn’t going to take no for an answer.
Jasmine Marques doesn’t understand the pull she feels towards the bad boy biker, Quill Owen. But she knows it’s unlike anything she has ever felt before and it doesn’t help that he’s hot as hell! ***WARNING*** This novel contains explicit language, sex, drugs, violence, and sexual situations that some might find offensive. This book is intended for adults 18+ years of age. This book contains a cliff-hanger and will continue in the second book in the Blood Brothers MC Series, titled Tamed.
After the first chapter I "read" this book by sliding each page, meaning I caught about 10 words per page.
*The writing style isn't for me. As much as I love mc books those with the sterotypical mc members don't work for me. The constant "brother" and cursing didn't endear me to this book either. I love mc romances, just not done this way.
*H meets h as he goes to a meeting with his father, he's captivated by her and is glad his father called her by name so he can track her down. He instantly wants her. After the meeting he goes back to the compound and has sex with his most frequented club whore. Of course he thinks of the h and has a massive orgasm. As he finishes he gets a call that there's trouble at his club, he jumps out of bed and heads out and......who does he run into??? Our h. She's there with friends and when he sees her talking to a guy he goes caveman. He wants her and nobody else is allowed to have her and he knows there's something between them. I think he goes down on her. I was rage skimming at that point since I don't think he even showered off the scent of eau de whore but 🤷
* Our h has now come off a divorce where her once well off stable husband turns into a gambler and lost all his money and assets. She thankfully managed to keep her business and is attempting to move on with her life. She seemed strong at first but pretty soon she turns into a giggling, "he's so hot I can't resist him" mess
,*Rival club drama to prove they really are badasses
*OW causes some drama and is warned off. Our h turns into a badass and calls her names and such and they have a little tussel
*OM drama as her ex returns but he's only looking for money. Our H is jealous though so he's pissed that she went to meet the ex and he follows her. He sees the ex touching her and gets angry, blows up at her and calls her a whore
*Skanky OW from before sees the H drinking away his sorrows and when he rejects her she drugs him. They have unprotected sex with him thinking she's the h. The h walks in on them and she's off course hurt and angry and in tears
I took a road trip with the family today and read this baby in one sitting. Quill was a smoking hot alpha, and he and Jasmine were combustible together. I loved the entire story even though it ended in a cliffy. So happy book 2 is already out and I can dive right into it next.
Not memorable except for the fact that the hero cheats by sleeping with his ex hook up and heroine walks in on them. I really dont care that he was too drunk to recognize it wasnt the heroine, lock your damn door!! Gory details with OW too. Not the greatest read.

I was given the honour of sampling this while it was still in its early stages and I loved it. Bad ass bikers, alpha males, sassy heroines, instalove and a whole lot of f*cking!
Though the characters and the storyline was amazing and how it was set out, the book felt forced. As in forced emotion. There were a lot of moments where I could not get into the right head space for which the situation demanded. All the right words were there but there was no emotion behind it. But then there were parts that simply overwhelmed me. Consumed me to the point I was sitting on the edge of my seat itching to figure out what was gonna happen next.
I was also expecting more of a build up, more of a conflict in the story besides extreme jealousy and that b*tch Jess. I felt like there were parts missing. Like Quill's dad. There was all that discussion and detail about him but he disappears halfway through the book. Will he come back and be the cause of more trouble in the next book?
Quill: an idiot. A possessive-over-the-top-sexy-jealous-ovary-exploding idiot. He's rash. Never stopping to think about the consequences to his actions. More of an, act now beg later kind of guy. He came onto Jasmine so hard. It was rushed, their relationship. And despite the fact, that I am 100% for insta-loves and alpha males, there's only so much. But he's loyal and so damn hot, he makes my vag cry!
Jasmine: Okay, she was kind of an idiot too. Annoying. There were moments I just wanted to slap her for not seeing sense. Always running away. But she's been hurt before and she's insecure so I understand. She's sassy and won't take orders from nobody. Not even Quill. So you could imagine just how much they clashed. And I absolutely loved it. Though they did have their sweet and soft moments, which were amazing as well, theres something to be said for passion and a good hard f*cking.
Hawke and Luisa. I mean come on! Why are these two so hot together? Please please please tell me they get a book. And I loved how supportive they were of Quill and Jasmine. Even protecting them from each other. Hawke will always have a place in my heart after reading this book.
Just as things were getting interesting, and hearts were being broken it ended. And though I have my theories on what might happen next and explanations for certain situations, I shall keep them to myself and patiently (impatiently) await the next book!
New series alert! It's so intriguing and different and I guess that's what I love about it. Amazing work JA Collard for a debut novel! I can't wait to read the next book and any other book you write in the future!
DNF for me Leading Lady is very afraid of motorcycles and bikers? She said maybe one too many episodes of SOA? How can you watch SOA and not want to jump a few of them lol what?? She stands there not talking just staring at them 🙄 one says she’s dumb which hell she sounds like she appears dumb right then just standing there checking them out not responding to their questions. We learn her sad is me story then her BFFs sad is me story. Nope not interested in someone who hides when they see bikers. So I will cut out early ... on to the next.
Really loving the storyline on this....the fast paced storyline, hot AF sex scenes, hot alpha male, just dangit everything I want in a good read. This was my first book by this author and definitely won't be the last considering I already downloaded book 2. Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis
When they were both at a bar, Quill told Jasmine that she belonged to him and was not allowed to wear sexy clothes anymore or dance with other men. This despite the fact that 1. They had just met that morning and hadn't even had a conversation and 2. He LITERALLY just jumped out of bed with a club wh0re that he f#%ked while pretending she was Jasmine.
This book lost me at 21% when Quill said, "I know what I want, and I want you. So either make things easy and go with it, or if you don't, I'll force you by using your body against you." I will not read a book that romanticizes an H that threatens the h with r@pe. DNF

The writing was VERY childish, like it was written as a junior high school English project or something. Very lame & I will not be wasting my time with the second book. If the scenarios & conflicts were solid along with the lame ass writing then I would have given the second book a chance but it’s totally not worth it.
The book was okay but it could have been much better. Jasmine acted like a hormonal 14 year old most of the time and not like a grown woman in her twenties who owns a business.
This poor girl. Bullied into a relationship. A best friend that gaslights her and forces her into uncomfortable situations. This is not a romance, it's a Stockholm situation.
I didn't love this story, as you can probably guess from my 2 stars. It was really intense, and I'm not talking suspense intense. I'm talking the H saw the H, they said a couple of words to each other and then with NO MORE WORDS he's all 'she's mine, you don't dress like that, you don't touch another guy'. :/
I loooove alpha males, freaking adore them but I need substance to a relationship and the characters, a past about them or something to say they know more about each other, or scenes where they learn more about each other either by talking or family or running into each other where they're forced to hang out together, just anything other than what it was. I want a guy to go alpha over someone he cares about not just someone he thinks is sexy and wants to fuck, I want real care factor for them both.
I know some people love the instant love and attraction and honestly I do too, it's why I love mated shifter stories cos I'm all about the love and relationships in stories I really just want that and the angst and then I'm in heaven, but Quill was just borderline alpha crazy for me, probably because there was no work up to their relationship for me.
There's a huge cliffy at the end but I'm not at all intrigued to read on because both H and H reactions are over the top and it was really starting to annoy me.
If you love insta love with great sex and lots of jealousy and over the top reactions then you'll enjoy this one. :)
I really wanted to read Hawke’s book because the blurb teases OW drama, but noticed it recommended to read Quill’s (1 & 2) first. They’re all fairly short and on KU so I cruised through this one. It was ok, but ended in a potential cheater cheater pumpkin eater cliffy.
Quill is the prez of the Blood Brothers MC. Jasmine is divorced and not looking for a man. Sparks fly when they meet, but they stumble a bit to get going. There’s a ton of OW drama from his ex-club whore favorite, Jess.
I really liked this, I couldn't put it down and read the whole book in on go, The author made me feel the connection Quill and Jasmine have, I'm jumping straight into book 2 cause i need more.
Great book for a debut author. If you love Alpha/ Girl Next Door, then this is for you. If you love MC/Sons Of Anarchy, then this is for you. If you love a steamy read, this is definitely for you. I cannot wait to see what happens next with Hawke *fans self*
I picked this book on a whim and I loved it! Drama, Alphaness, Angst and HOT sexy scenes! Loved it. I couldn't put it down and i'm already onto the next book.
This is one that goes against the expectations set by ratings. IMO this was pretty dire. There's a list of things that rubbed me up the wrong way, from the writing to the characters. I took to skimming most of it. It ends in a cliffhanger. Am I going to read the next book in the series? No.
J.A. Collard's "Tame Me" takes readers on a wild journey through the gritty world of the Blood Brothers MC, where passion, danger, and desire collide in a combustible mix.
Set against the backdrop of a motorcycle club, this novel introduces us to the enigmatic Quill Owen, a former marine and the current president of the Blood Brothers MC. When the alluring Jasmine Marques walks into his life, Quill finds himself drawn to her in ways he never expected. Despite his rough exterior and the responsibilities weighing on his shoulders, Quill is determined to make Jasmine his own.
Jasmine, on the other hand, is captivated by Quill's rugged charm but struggles to reconcile her attraction to him with her own reservations. As their worlds collide, both Quill and Jasmine must confront their pasts and navigate the turbulent waters of their budding relationship.
Collard's writing is raw and unapologetic, plunging readers into a world where danger lurks around every corner and passion simmers just beneath the surface. From the steamy encounters between Quill and Jasmine to the adrenaline-fueled moments within the MC, "Tame Me" delivers a pulse-pounding reading experience from start to finish.
However, readers should be forewarned that this novel contains explicit language, sexual situations, and themes of violence and drug use, which may not be suitable for all audiences. Additionally, the story ends with a cliffhanger, setting the stage for the next installment in the Blood Brothers MC series.
In conclusion, "Tame Me" is a sizzling debut that will leave readers eager for more. With its compelling characters, intense romance, and gripping plot, this book is sure to satisfy fans of motorcycle club romances and steamy contemporary fiction alike. Just be prepared to hold on tight for the wild ride ahead.
Overall, "Tame Me" earns a solid four-star rating for its electrifying storytelling and magnetic characters. Readers craving a dose of heat and excitement won't be disappointed with this thrilling read.
The book started quite well, it had a few moments which I didn’t like but not much to stop me continuing. However, after maybe 50% it’s starting downhill. I find Jazz quite immature and irritating. She has no backbone, she says she’ll do something and in the end do the opposite. She leaves Quill a few times and forgets all about it because he is that sexy. Culmination was when she compared the love for her ex husband with the love for Quill only by physical description. Quill didn’t show her love. Their relationship was only fighting, demanding from his side and then sex. Little or no dialogue between them, everything was dealt by sex. I don’t mind hot books, I mind books where relationships is only that but described like love. I found Quill not so much as alpha as just demanding but I still could go on board if it wasn’t for the rest. They didn’t know each other or their history but were apparently in love. I still have around 30 pages of the book but I will not waste my time on them or the rest of the series.
Meet Quill, President of the Blood Brothers MC and the ultimate alpha. When he sees Jasmine for the first time he is determined to make her his. Jasmine however is not so convinced, even though her body reacts different. His blue eyes and the way he looks at her captivate her. After finally agreeing to coming to a party at the club with her best friend Luisa, Quill finally gets his chance to make his move and Jasmine can no longer resist. He instantly feels extremely protective over her and is doing his best to make her commit fully to him. With the club whore Jess constantly around him Jasmine has her doubts but in the end their love for each other wins. "Tame me" is book 1 in the Blood Brothers MC Series and kicks it if with Quills story. J.A. Collard is a new author to me and I am floored by her writing. So good. I can only recommend her as an author.
