I'm the man who can make your hottest fantasies feel like a G-rated movie. Langston I’m one of the highest-paid linebackers in the NFL. They call me the Monster of the Midwest because I hit hard—and play harder. Women fall at my feet and wise men step aside.
Now I’ve been sentenced to five weeks of community service at a center for troubled youth … and who should I find there but a hot little number named Cassie. I never expected to see her again. Funny thing is, she couldn't care less about my money or my reputation.
She’s all about the kids, but I have other plans for her. She needs to be in my bed where she belongs. Begging for more.
Cassie Langston who? All I know is, the guy they sent to volunteer with me is the same impossibly sexy man I spent one unforgettable night with.
So what if he’s some bad-boy football star. If he thinks he can use working here to redeem his public image—I’ll show him different. My kids deserve better. Mr. Hot Stuff is not my priority, and he’ll be gone soon anyway.
I just have to stop thinking about how good that one sultry night was ... and imagining how much sexier he could make me feel if I’d just give him the chance.
Big Time is a full-length bad-boy romance with a little bit of football and a whole lot of sexy steamy bad boy, No cliffhanger and a very happy ending. Intended for readers 18+ due to Kindle-melting scenes and other mature content.
There wasn't much original about this book! It was full of tropes and stereotypes, and the characters were very shallow! There was very little plot and the book itself only took up 42% of the Kindle edition! There was very little to recommend this book, but it did keep me entertained, so that in itself is worth an extra star. I'll see about giving the author a second chance, but I don't hold out much hope for it.
Thoughtful, sexy and perfect! The story is inspirational...you never known what direction your life will go in based on decisions good and bad. In this book, the romance goes beyond Cassie and Langston. It reaches the precious children of Harvest House to capture your heart. A bad boy sports romance that does good!
Big Time is one of my favorite sports romances of the year. Langston and Cassie are hot together. Hot and sweet! They meet at a club during the first night in a long time that Cassie has gone out with her beautiful friend, Park. Langston only has eyes for Cassie from the first time he sees her and Cassie is feeling more and more sexy, especially as that alcohol courses through her system. They have a really hot one night stand, but Cassie starts feeling that always present self doubt when she wakes up the next morning, and she bails on Langston before he wakes up.
Lo and behold, though, a few days later Langston shows up for his court mandated 5 weeks of community service at Harvest House, where Cassie is directed by her boss to be in charge of Langston. Langston is happy about it but Cassie isn't so happy...that is, until the attraction kicks in again and Langston reveals his really sweet side and that huge heart of his.
But, my favorite part of Big Time, even aside from the sweet girls Langston and Cassie love at the Harvest House, is the ending. It's so sweet and romantic that it had me swooning. Absolutely loved it!
Chance is a football player, and “player” describes his personal life as well! He likes to party and spend time at the clubs, which makes him a prime target for the media. When one of his antics in a bar fight earns him community service time, he heads for a club before he has to “behave” and he meets someone to take home for a one-night-stand. The woman is gone when he wakes the next day.
When Chance shows up for the community service work, he finds that his “boss” is the woman he had been looking for from his one-night-stand. But Lacey is not as receptive as he had hoped. Will he continue to pursue her? Will she give them a chance at a relationship? Can they find a HEA together?
Langston Rose is one of the most high paying linebackers in the NFL who got into some trouble & sentenced to 5 weeks community service at The Center for Troubled Youths Harvest House. Cassie is the hot little number he pickedup at the bar the weekend before who just so happens to work at Harvest House. An eloquently written novel that is flawlessly developed with no plot holes. With compelling character's that are realistic with real emotions and flaws. KB has certainly done it again as she shocked me. I never expected to get so emotional with one of her books. I cried while I read this book. Not only is this novel sexy & steamy but will send you on a roller coaster of emotions. This novel is sweet, romantic, sexy, with a bit of humour. A beautiful ending to a wonderful romantic story. I recommend reading this novel as you will not be disappointed. I voluntarly reviewed an advanced reading copy.
I Iove KB Winters sports romance stories and she definitely delivered another touchdown with Big Time: A Bad Boy Single Dad Sports Romance. Langston is the ultimate alpha male, sexy as sin, bad boy athlete you will fall in love with. Cassie is sweet, kin, caring, hardworking and ordinary (as she would call herself) woman trying to make a difference in young girls lives and help them. Langston and Cassie's story is a real page turner. Oh...you definitely will fall in love Kenzi also.
He is a bad boy sportsman and he knows it. And now feels it, because he needs to do community service for five weeks. But lucky him it is at the house where Cassie works, his one night stand who left his house without a trail.
But next to a hot story it is also a sweet story, how great of Langton to care about the girls at the house he does his community service. A story about a bad boy with a big heart.
I thought this book was okay. I honestly think my expectations were too high based off the reviews I read beforehand. Overall, I thought it was very mediocre and a a story I've heard a thousand ways to Sunday. Bad boy billionaire suddenly changes his whole personality because he finally meets a girl who's magic vagina is worth changing for. Very middle of the road for me.
I am really starting to like these sports romance stories. Especially with little ones. This one with Langston and Cassie, just really hits home. One fun, sexy filled night and both start to look at their lives thru new eyes. Park her friend is just hilarious. Love the story and the characters.
I found this book on kindle unlimited. I took a chance on this author as I never have read any of her books before. I truly enjoyed Big Time. The story kept me wanting to read more as I read in one sitting.
Loved this story. The attraction between the characters is hot. They are both passionate about their careers but find other common interests that become so much more. I couldn’t stop reading once I started.
Big Time (A Bad Boy Sports Romance) by KB Winters * Unexpected I love Winters stories and this one doesn't disappoint. Plus I received a copy with extra books!! Yeah what an amazing bonus. I can't wait to read more! Due to sexual content this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older!
Big Time is a standalone book by K.B. Winters. Love me a good sports romance and this one hit the spot. The storyline and characters were well written and had depth, emotion and a ton of chemistry!!
Good story. Read this before and liked it then and just finished it again and still a good story. Will there be more stories related to this same fictional NFL team. I know there is book 2 but will there be a book 3?
This is the best story I have read in a while. Cassie and Langston are so good together. You can't help but want to keep reading and see what happens. The storyline was so enjoyable and it pulls you in and then you can't help but feel like you are right there. this is a honest review for a copy I received
Hot alpha to the nth degree! But she was no push over! I love when a bad boy is really a good man! He makes you melt when he shows he vulnerable side. Loved this book!
A very light romance. The characters are both quite straightforward and they don't put up much of a struggle before their happy ever after. Fine for a quick read on the beach.
Very endearing, not your typical jock meets shy virgin romance. It truly was more a second chance story with a bonus of shocking and life changing moments. Really respectable story.
This is a somewhat stereotypical story of an arrogant athlete who meets the girl who changes his life for the better. There are some misunderstandings but all ends well.
We meet Langston Rose, sexy hot linebacker, having to cleanup yet another mess! thankfully it goes his way, not without having to do some penance.
We then meet, good girl Cassandra, about to hit the club with her bestie, the friends are total opposites. Cassie who has not had a relationship for a while has attempted to steer clear of boys.
Langston & Cassie meet at the club, once Cassie throws caution to the wind, and lets loose, ending up having a great night with a very sexy guy.
Langston's penance is community service for a centre for under privileged kids.
First day - straight into an oops moment, both Cassie and Langston find their one night stands! Cassie loves her job, even being a btof a work-a-holic and blows hot and cold wanting to keep their private lives away from the centre.
Langston much to his disbelief begins to enjoy volunteering with the kids, and we see the bad boy slowly coming to realise that he wants more out of life, including being the Football clubs resident bad boy.
One of the little girls from the Centre, becomes tangled up in an altercation, and we start to see a softer side of Langston emerge.
Cassie tries to fight the attraction and feeling she has for Langston, but is fighting a loosing battle.
It is fairly a fast paced story with a fantastic happy ending, where both of them learn a whole new side to themselves.
Langston is a really misunderstood man, who kept repeating his mistakes, but needed that ONE thing to make him realise what he could be missing if he stayed on the wrong path.
*** 4 1/2 Stars*** Monster Baller is the first book in the Bitsberg Knights Duet. This is an entertaining, at times funny, and definitely sexy story about Chance Beaumann and Lacey Hart. Chance is the middle linebacker for the Bitsberg Knights football team. The man is a total player both on and off the field. But he tends to be a magnet for getting into trouble and it finally catches up to him when he is sentenced to 100 hours of community service. Lacey is the Activity Director for girls at Harvest House, a not for profit youth center. When her latest community service assignee walks in the door let's just say he is someone she was hoping not to ever see again. That is because he is someone she knows intimately, since they had a one night stand the previous weekend. It all started when her bestie Tien and her went clubbing and well....one thing led to another. Chance is not too sorry about who he is assigned to though as she rocked his world, even if she is not being really nice to him. Chance may not have been happy to his sentence but when he gets to know the kids and the center he starts changing his mind and suddenly his life starts changing also. Things really change when he ends up becoming the foster parent for one of the girls and starts an actual relationship with Lacey.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This review is from: Big Time: A Bad Boy Sports Romance (Kindle Edition)
Wow...Big Time by K.B. Winters is my favorite sports romance I've read this year. Her bad boys are always bad and the heroines are independent women but this book all comes together because she nails the characters. Langston and Cassie will win over your heart. He is misunderstood and has bought into his bad boy image so much that he thinks he is only what the media makes him out to be. When Langston has to do 100 hours of court ordered community service all he can think about is how to get out of it. What he isn't prepared for is how it will change his life for the better.
One Friday night after a long week at Harvest House Cassie decides to go out for a girl night. Drinks lead to more drinks and she has a one night stand. When she goes to work Monday and told that she has to supervise a court appointed volunteer little does she know how much her life will change.
Suffice it to say the chemistry between Langston and Cassie is off the charts hot and heavy. As these two grow to know each other you can't help but cheer for a HEA ending. This book will make you feel good as you read it. Well done K.B. Winters.
