This is a very short story about a two-bit crook in America who steals something which he thinks will aid him... maybe we all get what we deserve.
This is an adult read due to strong language.

Thief in training.
Taught by one of the best Tony goes out on his own. Trouble is he takes some of the bosses money. Then he finds a ring that allows him to teleport to wherever he can imagine, and things improve. What happens next is unexpected change in direction for Tony. Good read.
