Richards is a master and this book is a good retrospective of his career to date. The subject matter in some of these photos is not easy, often of poverty, drug abuse, or violence. He has done an amazing job to document these scenes and to somehow gain access.
He is a master of framing, and is very creative with a wide angled lens.
