Finding the one doesn’t always mean keeping them.

Kate Elliott and Nicholas Bryant’s relationship has been anything but easy. The best things in life never are. And finding each other, finding a soulmate, qualifies as extravagant, borderline absurd.

But holding on isn’t always about holding tight. Sometimes things, or people, slip through even the strongest grip…

The ghosts of both Nicholas’ and Kate’s pasts are haunting every facet of their lives. Enemies, both old and new, are weaving their tendrils around a couple usually trademarked by ecstasy. Sometimes the demons are a whisper; sometimes they have a vicious strangle hold. Nicholas and Kate finding their other half, against all odds, and despite explosive and electric tempers, won’t be the hard part. Staying alive may be all this family can ask for.

Family Business is a steam romance with content intended for a mature audience.

Ace Gray is a best selling author, self-proclaimed troublemaker and connoisseur of both the good life and fairy tales. After a life-long love affair with both books, she undertook writing the novel she wanted to read. Ten books later, she's gotten to live in the world of billionaires, twisted murders, and sweet small towns. She's made her heart race both with suspense and serious swoon and wouldn't trade one minute, one word of it.

When she's not writing, she owns a taco truck in a ski town in Colorado even though she can't cook a lick (that's all her husband). She loves paddle boarding, snowboarding, camping, basically anything outside... and hosting dinner parties (though she's only in it for the drinks). Oh, and of course, writing more words.

Ace is the author of Strictly Business, Bad For Business, Family Business, Twisted Fate, Twisted Death, A Twisted Love Story, Twisted Secrets, Of Smoke & Cinnamon: A Christmas Story, Pretty Young Things, All The Letters I'll Never Send You and All The Letters I've Ever Read. These titles are available on Amazon.

Despite starting a book in the middle of the story, it was easy to find myself enthralled with this author's writing. It kept me engaged and turning the pages to find out what would happen next. Her characters and the plot were entertaining and without knowing the history, I was still able to enjoy the way the events unfolded. I could feel the evil coming from Nick and Kate's enemies and wanted to know more about the why, but the love between the characters was most definitely this book's focus.

I feel like I would have given my left imaginary nut to get Nick's perspective. He was necessary to break up the monotony that was Kate and her bull. Dang, but that girl could go from 0 to 100 real quick. She had absolutely no chill button. Girl needed to calm herself down.

Although the characters got their happy ending, there's still a maniac on the loose, bent on destroying them. He intrigues me and I wonder what madness he's going to set loose.

So I made the silly little mistake of thinking I had a clue what Ace was going to hand me with this book. I tricked myself into feeling safe and was... once again completely blindsided.

This is the THIRD book in Ace Gray's Mixing Business With Pleasure series, and every single one of them has had such a different feel, a different tone and has rocked my world for a completely different reason.

In STRICTLY BUSINESS, we meet Kate and Nicholas, we fall HARD & FAST for each of them, and then for them as a couple.

In BAD FOR BUSINESS we continue to fall, its a slower, steady decent into pure Bryant Bliss.

In FAMILY BUSINESS, it picks up right where Bad For Business left off... which right smack dab in the middle of a HOLY SHIT / WHAT THE FUCK moment, and it only progresses from there. So part of me wonders... was Ace coddling us during Bad For Business, holding us close making us feel cozy and warm only to rip the blanket off us and feed us to the wolves in Family Business?

This whole book I was so far out of my comfort zone. I couldn't even see my "happy place" from where I was standing. The only part of this book that trumped the insane amount of suspense was the off the charts sexy times! Seriously this book had some of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read! Like holy shit you guys! I don't know who loves Ace more, me or my husband. Hahaha! ...just kidding its me. No one loves Ace more then I do! ;)

One of Nicholas' many... MANY lovable (and by lovable I mean fuckable ;) qualities is his never-wavering sense of control. And one of the things that is so badass about Kate is her never-wavering sense of control... and what is so absolutely fascinating about these two fabulous characters is the give and take of that control. While neither of them are willing to completely relinquish it to the other, there is a constant eb and flow of trust and compromise between the two of them. They both show vulnerability at times, their love is so undeniable at this point, that they live with their hearts wide open raw and just fucking begging the other one not to completely swallow them whole. Its an absolutely amazing thing to watch.

That being said... the way Ace writes, you feel like so much more then a bystander. You're in it with them, every bit as vulnerable desperate as the characters she's written. While no one is 100% safe with my girl Ace at the wheel, if you know what's good for you you will put your trust in her completely. There's no safety in love not the good kind anyway. Our hearts were only given to us on loan, they were meant to be given away or at very least shared with others.

It is with great confidence and absolute PLEASURE that I give my heart to this Author, Ace Gray, and her amazing characters time and time again.

Did I go off on a little rant there? I can't tell, I get a little lost when I'm talking about Nicholas Bryant.....SWOON. Long-Story short... I fucking loved this book. One-Click the shit out of it first chance you get! XO

Once again, Ace Gray KILLED IT with this epic conclusion to her Mixing Business with pleasure series, Family Business, and I couldn't have asked for a better ending to Nick and Kate's whirl wind of a relationship!! Of course, there are some INTENSE moments between these two, as Nick continues to try to protect Kate in his own alpha man way, and Kate, while she appreciates it, also wants to remain independant and work on their problems together. Honestly, The way their relationship grows throughout these three books is so wonderful to see and is probably my favourite thing about this whole enitre series!! And while they obviously have their ups and downs, Nick and Kate are so in love and their chemistry is so extremely H.O.T that it drips off the pages at every turn.
There are so many things that happen throughout this book, and Christopher (that insane creepy man) is still one of them!! And when you add him plus some other things that happen throughout this story, i was freaking the F OUT and i found myself yelling at my ipad for answers just because my heart couldnt take it anymore!! Reading this book was nail biting to say the least and I swear I had no nails left when I was finished!! Overall, I am so incredibly happy with the way Mrs Gray finishes off Kate and Nicholas's story, and to say that maybe these two deserve a happily ever after is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!! there are twists and turns and things that threaten to tear these two apart, and even though both are very strong willed, they are meant for each in every way!!! I love this series with my whole heart and Nick and Kate are one of my favourite couples of all time!!!!!! Ace Gray is a writing QUEEN and I am praying and hoping she has Nick and Kate doing pop up appearances in her future books!!!!!! Love love love loveeeeeeeeeeee THIS BOOK!!!! 5 beautiful stars

Another fabulous read by Ace Gray! If you love steamy, hot sex scenes, then this is the book for you! The storyline was great too, with everything tying off nicely for Kate and Nick ... but I feel there will be more ...

*ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review

I was really excited to pick back up where we left off in book 2 - was looking for resolution in a variety of ways as the trilogy concluded. As was found in books 1 and 2, great seamless easy to devour writing, great sex appeal and chemistry, love the independence and intelligence of both main characters, etc.

But unlike the other books (to my recollection), this one several times left loose ends to events and circumstances, As you can see - lack of resolution, me scratching my head and re-reading scenes to catch missing details was quite common this time around.

Sadly, ending left me upset -

Still a new fan of this author, but think this last book could have been thought out a bit more. Hope feedback is seen as constructive!

This book was like sending a kid out into the world. I've read all 3 books and have rode the rollercoaster of emotions between Kate and Nicholas. I wasn't ready!!

Kate and Nicholas are moving on with life despite the threat hanging over their head. Settling into domestic life the typical questions pop up such as will we still have a spark and will he still think I'm pretty down the road when bodies and age change us. In the midst of it all Christopher still looms over them. Nicholas in all his alpha male glory thinks he can protect Kate and not say a thing. Kate being the temperamental woman she is won't stand for it. They decide maybe its best to tackle it as a team.

I don't want to give much away but please read the previous 2 books to fully grasp the dynamic of Kate and Nicholas. Ace Gray is a fabulous storyteller. While at times I wanted to strangle her heroine because she was quick to flip out you kind of sided with her. Nicholas is pure alpha through and through. This is a book of drama and ups and downs. Yet under it all you witness a true love story and people facing personal issues dead on. While I'm not sure what's in store in the future for Nick and Kate I hope this is merely a new beginning to their story. Needless to say I'll read anything Ms Gray puts out!!

Ace Gray does it again....
If you've been following the journey of Nicholas Bryant (Shame on you if your not, he will keep you tied up for hours if you let him) and Kate Elliott from the beginning (Strictly Business and Bad for Business) you will know that life is never simple for them...

This couple is the ultimate power couple and as you know with most power couples they find themselves in all manner of situations (some they want and definitely some they don't, trust me you will be addicted to their journey and be wanting to know what next) I don't want to give too much away other than to say you will be riveted from the start, just when you think you know what's going to happen BAM you find out you're way off-I love books like this for the exact reason you stay engaged.

I love that Nick and Kate are both so powerful in Business and what I love about the whole series is that even though she is equal in Business the fit together out of it also. It is refreshing to have a strong and powerful Female lead to match the Male one you see in so many books.

There are so many truly Beautiful elements to Family Business, and I cannot the come d it enough, it truly is a must read.

“My heartbeat has tuned to his, my breathing too. We made each other stronger, but we also made each other crazy. Bat shit crazy”

Can we get a round of applause for the geniusness that is Ace Gray?

I was curious to how she would blow us away after Bad for Business and she did it without a hitch.

Kate and Nicholas had already captured my heart in the previous books, but they melted it with this one.
The rollercoaster ride was as intense as it always has been, and I got through this book WAY too fast.

At times I was like ‘wtf how is this going to play out’ but Ace did not disappoint and she delivered everything perfectly!

“Fairy tales weren’t read. Regardless of what we want or deserve, life made other plans”

I don’t want to get into detail because this is a series you need to go into head first and experience every moment yourself

But I need to get this out. Ace has an amazing writing style that has captured me since Strictly Business. With this series she has given me one of my favorite reads of 2016 hands down. And also one of my favorite power couples of all time.

I can’t wait for all that’s to come.

so i was lucky enough to get the chance to beta this book and I LOVED it. but then i knew i would.

I had no idea what poor Kate and Nicholas could possibly be facing next. But I should have known Ace would have plenty of twists and turns up her sleeve!

This book will have you on the edge of your seat from start to end.

Mmmmmm Nickolas Bryant oh how I've missed this man! Ace doll you freaken did it again your truly an amazing author and one of my favourites and friend as well. There was few times I truly wanted to smack Nick and Kate. Nick for trying to leave her, and Kate for truly over reacting and nor having enough faith in Nick. Now Brooklyn I nedd know more about this man and I have feeling it's Airabella or Laura. I can't wait to find out.

I don't want this series to end!! really.. I love Nick and Kate so much and I don't know how to move on from them.

Have you read Strictly Business and Bad for Business before? If you haven't, you should start reading them ASAP, you will love it and for me this series is like an addiction, once you starting the first one you will craving for the next book and you can't just move on or leave it this book alone on the corner of your room, you just can't.

I don't know what makes Ace so different, her brain works like magic.. this series is a roller coaster ride, it's intense, everything seems so complicated and risky but Ace always made a brilliant move for every problem.
to be honest, I don't have a high expectation for this third book, but wow Ace did a really good job, I love the new threats that Nick and Kate have here, I know there's no something easy and simply in this kind business but we always can find the pleasure in every pressure.
like I said before, I don't want this series to end, Nick is too precious to forget.
I can read this series for the rest of my life. LOL
because, this is a very bad business you will ever find.

This is the third book in the series and it starts right where Ace made you say WHAT?!! at the end of Bad for Business.

This was an intense read! I felt so many emotions reading this. The suspense was crazy and made me nervous thinking about what was going to happen!

Nick is still super protective of Kate and will do anything to keep her safe. He is definitely all alpha!! Love him! I loved Kate but at times I wanted to shake her for how she acted! I loved how much she loved Nick.

They had some of the hottest sex that I have read in a while. The makeup sex was the best!

I loved this book. You need to one click this book and if you haven't read the first two, then what are you waiting for?!

I love that He showed Kate's strength. I love that you show Nick's vulnerability. I love that they fight for there love. You will cried, you will scream, you will want to kill some of the characters. I love, love this series.

Hmm.... I'm a little frazzled having just completed this book... the Not all endings are endings and not all endings are happy... part has left me frazzled, is there to be another book? There has to be, after all Christopher is still alive, though wounded.

Kate Elliott and Nicholas Bryant's story continues. Kate and Nick are spending their first thanksgiving together with their family and friends, and from the start it's bipolar relationship land again, loving one minute screaming and shouting the next. By Christmas they get engaged but by New Year's things become dramatic...

Christopher, Nick's estranged step brother has set his sights on Kate and makes his intentions known at the New Year's party where he causes a scene which he ultimately sees as the end of their relationship knowing Christopher now realises how special Kate is to Nick and he can't live with knowing he brought harm to her. Nick leaves Kate and she becomes an empty shell; when Christopher finds Kate drinking and alone and drugs her Nick returns to her side, but their problems are still not over.

Before the end there is another death, a baby, an explosion, another over night stay in a hospital, more business problems, a wedding, more scotch drinking, and of course exotic sports cars.

As much as I liked this book, the sex scenes irked me, they were nearly every chapter... we get it they liked to go at it like bunnies, I just didn't need that many! I was disgruntled by the jump two years, from one chapter to The next... all that time and no Christopher making an appearance? And all that time and they were still using blackberries? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I love this series and Ace has become one of my favs, but I felt this book was on steroids from start to finish. Nick and Kate couldn't catch a break and I became confused with what was going on (then again I was reading so fast to find out what happens next). The back and forth between Nick and Kate was annoying. The Christopher scenario was just weird and confusing. I don't understand how this dude kept slipping through cracks, especially when he's in the same room as Nick on multiple occasions. Kate near death experience was a head scratcher since she technically died, but was able to leave the hospital a day later - still confused about that. Kate is a strong female and I love her dedication and stubbornness, but the whole doing edits and feeling that was more urgent than one of the most amazing and important day of her and Nick's life pissed me off. I am assuming there is going to be a fourth book because of how this book ended, which I'm super excited about. Honestly, this book felt unfinished and Kate and Nick needs their happily ever after.

I give it four and a half handcuffs.

I saw the author's post on Instagram asking for anyone who wants to do a review of the book. I sent her a DM and I was emailed an ARC. Thank you again Ace K. Gray.

This is the third installment of the Mixing Business With Pleasure Series. I have not read any of Ace Gray's books so before I read this one I started on the first two books - Strictly Business and Bad for Business.

Mixing Business With Pleasure is about two successful business CEO's in New York who are physically, emotionally and sexually drawn to each other. Kate Elliot and Nicholas Bryant are just what each other needs but their relationship has never been easy. In this third book, the ghosts of Nick's past are now crawling back into his life and want a piece of it. Will they or their relationship survive?

This time, the book has lesser sex scenes in it but the intensity has not toned down. Yes, this is more intense than the previous two books, both in the story line and sex scenes. Fortunately, the events are more demanding and fast-paced. A lot of things were happening that kept me glued to it. More surprises , explosions and unexpected turns. If not for the hot scenes, this book would have definitely been a one-of-a-kind pure suspense ride. I admit, I honestly enjoyed this and I think this is the best of the three. And to top it all, there is a cliffhanger at the end. I am sure, this is not the last will hear of Kate and Nicholas. I can't wait.

I did not think that I would actually enjoy this book. The title alone, seems very steamy as it is. I am not really into that genre though once in a while I chance upon them. Yes, I have read Fifty Shades of Grey and this book seems to be on that same plane though this is not really a BDSM. I think that is what I least like about the book which is really minor. It has a similar tone as Fifty Shades of Grey though I think this one, the female protagonist is really bad ass and is way better. A stronger character, feisty and more spunk. Absolutely not the tamed or sweet kitty type. Kate always surprises me with each facet of her character that she reveals. I am just as surprised as Nicholas. Also, I think the writing is better in this book. So why did I sign up for this book? I signed up to read this one because it got me at ARC. Yes, I feel like a kid on Christmas every time I see the word ARC. As long as it says ARC, I would like to get my hands on it. I would not mind the genre. And I would love to be surprised and proven wrong. This book did good on both counts. I am glad. It's true, some books just find you.

I give it four and a half handcuffs. If you happen to read the series, from the first book to the third, you would notice the development of the story and the writing. As the story progressed, your attention is also demanded more. If you read the first book and thought it wasn't that engaging, that was what I felt too. But good things come to those who wait. And the author has made good on that promise. Even better on this third installment. I think it will be far greater on the next one. Congratulations Miss Gray! Definitely worth my time. Thank you.

Can I say now move over Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey? Here comes Kate Elliot and Nicholas Bryant.

"In that moment that unnamed emotion and the deep, crisper blue I’d seen made sense. This was love. The real kind that had a hand in everything from fairy tales to Shakespeare tragedies. The kind that laid a soul bare, gutted, and bare."

This book has completely ruined me! Words cannot express how much I love this book. Family Business has been by far one of the most emotional and intense reads of the Mixing Business with Pleasure series. It was an emotional roller coaster that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. This book had so many twists and turns that I had a hard time putting it down. There are so many aspects of this book that I enjoyed. For instance, the tone and flow of the storyline was different and utterly captivating that I couldn't stop reading until I knew what would happen next with these amazing characters. And the steamy love scenes between Nick and Kate were pretty intense and off the charts. Most of all, I was captivated by Nick and Kate's heartbreaking and romantic journey that gave me all the feels. Nicholas Bryant is such an amazing alpha male that's caring, loving and protective especially with the people he loves the most. Both Nick and Kate have grown so much throughout the series that it was nice to see them overcome the challenges and dangers that would arise throughout the story. Even though there were some tough moments, it was good to see how they were able to handle themselves thru these situations.
After reading Strictly Business and Bad for Business, I thought I would be prepared for the end of Nick and Kate's journey. But I soon realized that I wasn't ready for their story to end. Even though I loved the conclusion of the third book, I am sad that this is the final installment of this epic love story.

I received an advanced readers copy of Family Business, book 3 in the Mixing Business with Pleasure Series by the author, Ace Gray.
I have to warn you that I fell in love with this authors writing and story telling several months back when I first found Strictly Business and then Bad for Business. I devoured those two books, and then patiently (yeah right) waited for monthly newsletter to read anything this author creates as I waited for this book to release.
I wish I could describe exactly what her words do wo me as a reader, but I just can't. This book, I would have normally devoured in less than 24 hours, staying up way past my bed time, ignoring that I had a husband, children, a job etc. to take care of in the morning. This book was different. I seriously dragged this book out three days. Not because it was bad, the opposite in fact. It was so good, but I knew I would get to the last page and be sad that the story was over. I would read it the first time in a blink of an eye, and never get the chance to re-read it for the first time again. So I took my time, not wanting the story to come to and end. I savored the words on the page. I fell in love with Nick and Kate all over again. I will admit that I laughed, I cried, and yes I got turn on by the words and story.
This book had suspense, and intrigue from the first chapter. I literally messaged the author and asked her what she was doing to me, because she was killing me with the first chapter THE FIRST CHAPTER!!!
This is an amazing series, and this book definitely is a 5 Star Book! A must read for all my smut sisters, and anyone who loved romantic suspense with dirty deeds!

Ace has officially killed me with feels. Family Business starts off with a bang and ends with a bang. Ace definitely knew what she was doing when she went and wrote this bad boy...make the reader feel every emotion in the book, and that she did.
Kate and Nick are back. Family Business is Nick's and Kate's last book and it definitely didn't disappoint. Just when they think their life is on track and moving forward with their business, and their relationship...they realize they were never in control. And things were never as they seemed.
Everything starts to crumble around them and their kingdom comes spiraling down. But are they strong enough to withstand the battle that has been brought before them or will they bow down in the heat? Their relationship will be tested in every possible way but can even Nick's and Kate's love withstand what's coming for them?
Family Business is everything and so much more. This book had me in its grasps from the first page and until the very last. I definitely want more. Nick and Kate started with a bang and ended with a bang. In only a way Ace could end Kate's and Nick's story. This book is truly breathtaking and I wouldn't have had it end any other way.
I look forward to continuing this series through the eyes of other characters.

Ok so Ace Gray has kicked a** again!!! I'm so in love with these characters it's not even funny . I'm usually so hesitant about series books because honestly I feel like they are drawn out and I usually have mixed feelings about spinoff books as welll but can I PLEASE have more of these characters!!!!! All of them including Christopher and of course The Bestie ...I mean Gray has a way with words that will have you falling for all the secondary characters it's not even fair.. ok ok this series is seriously a must read with a complex story line you won't be able to see coming with some seriously hot holy moly moments that will leave you sizzling and some wtf moments!!!Omg I can not believe that just happened!?!?! I was completely consumed and couldn't put down this book and loved every moment if you have not given this amazing author a chance what are you seriously waiting for this series is a must read...like over and over again!!! Must READ

A rip roaring of emotions engulfed me as I read Ace Gray’s Family Business, the third book in the Mixing Business with Pleasure series. I think that’s what a good author does for its readers, makes them feel and makes them anticipate.
This one was nothing short of awesome. I had been eagerly anticipating the continuation after we last heard from Nick Bryant and Kate Elliot, only to be pleasantly pleased, shattered and tearful when it all came down to it.
The connection sizzles between Nick and Kate in ways that most won’t understand, yet most will desire. I can't get enough of these two characters.
I savored this book, and took my time reading. Giving myself breaks to digest to get the most out of the words. Ace, awesome doesn’t even begin to describe my thoughts on this one. I can’t wait to see what you come out with next. I’m eager for more….

I absolutely loved it.It has everything action, romance and suspense which kept me riveted.
Kate is smart, sexy and willful--just the type of heroine I like. When she meets Nicholas Bryant, she's not only met her match but a man strong enough to keep her in check. The chemistry between the two is SIZZLING!!! The author does a terrific job painting intense love scenes with graphic imagery. This book is worth every penny!
