This is an amazing Bible. It is very unique as it is meant to help you read the Bible in one year. The tops of the pages are notated by date, rather than by book of the Bible. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Bible that challenges them to be in God’s Word daily. You will get snippets of the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs in your daily readings. This would be a great Bible to keep your notes from what you learned that day in your daily reading.
I read The One Year Bible Expressions NLT Deluxe in 2024 and loved it. I really appreciated the layout with a bit of Old Testament, New Testament, Proverbs, and Psalms each day , it makes reading manageable and keeps it interesting. It’s easy to capture day-to-day, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone hoping to read the Bible in a year.
Goal for 2024 was to read the whole Bible in a year. I did it. This Bible was great. It was very pretty so I loved seeing it every day by my bed. It was divided and organized in a way that was very easy to use. I liked the translation and since my goal was to read through and not do a deep dive, I liked that it had limited notes and commentary. Committing to reading the whole Bible did mean I got through less books in general but that's ok. I'm glad I found this and used it and met my goal.
This beautiful Bible was a replacement for my softcover One Year Bible from 2001. I enjoyed the gorgeous illustrations, even though I didn't color them in myself. Wide, lined margins for note taking are practical. The New Living version is my favorite. The bright mauve color on the cover was a daily delight.
This bible is the reason I can finally say I’ve read the Bible cover-to-cover. The readings broken up into daily divisions of Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs provided good variety so I never got “stuck” in a difficult or boring section. The space for notes was helpful and the various coloring pages helped serve as motivation / a reward every few pages.
