A short & sweet 💘 story between two immortal beings. Kri & Michael. Of course, he was first a mere mortal man who possessed dormant telepathic powers. And that is where the story gets better page after page.

Wow! Love ❤️ it
I.T Lucas doesn’t seem to amaze me. I just can’t get enough of her storyline. This group of dormant with amazing paranormal abilities and hot immortals to booth is enough for any women to wish they lived in their world.

In the story arc Dark Enemy Kri referred to herself as being a girly girl when not on duty and having to hide that stuff before asking Michael to move in with her. I was looking forward to her opening up that part of herself to Michael during their story but nothing doing. Such a disappointment. Perhaps this was due to being a novelette and not having the pages to address this in more depth. Perhaps it was due to both Kri and Michael being mentally/emotionally teenagers and teenage angst can be exhausting.

HAPPY ENDING?!
Sweet little novella featuring Kri and Michael, Amanda's rescued student from Book 1. Michael's status has changed from Dormant to newly Immortal however, he does not have Kri's level of training as a Guardian, or her strength by virtue of her age. Does this cause problems for the couple? Definitely some issues of uncertainty in Michael that need to be addressed - no spoilers! Read My Dark Amazon, with fingers crossed, to see if they come to terms with their differences; Kri and Michael are such a fun loving couple, and they deserve a HEA.

Cute little filler
Kri and Michael’s little side story was cute. I can’t really say it was also “sweet” because they were at odds almost the entire thing, LOL. Glad they worked it out, although it took longer than it should have and neither of them really told the other what their true issue was after all the speculating was done. I mean, “I love you” was said, but that wasn’t what Michael’s issue was and Kri’s assumption of what was wrong with Michael was never cleared up.

This is a cute novella to give us an insight in the relationship of Kri and Michael. We've been basically following their story on the side lines through the first 6 books and it's nice to see just them and how they are dealing with their relationship. the main issue being immaturity and not in the part of Michael who is only 21, but rather from Kri - who considers herself a teenager - despite being 47.

I love Cree and would like to read allot more about her and Michael. I enjoy h how vulnerable they both are but determined to make things work.I enjoy the way Cree is pushing Michael to get a degree and not just dedicate himself to one thing and I absolutely love the back and forth comments they make,their relationship is awesome.

Kri and Michael are still adjusting to each other as they try to become a couple. Michael is obsessed with becoming a Guardian and Kri is afraid Michael will want to marry before she is ready to give up her single life independence. Such are the problems plaguing this couple. Their story was heartfelt and filled with emotions. Each had to give a little and become more of an adult for them to grow as a couple. I enjoyed this read and found their story endearing.

Love this couple
I really liked this stories while it was dormants and the immortals. But I been trying to finish the last 2 books on the series for like 2 weeks and I can't I am not enjoying the Kraell is sad because it was great up until then. I feel Jade don't deserve a story anyway that's me. It's the reason I read this one and like all the others books up until the last 2 was great.

Kri & Michael (book 6.5)
Enjoyed this short story or novella as they are better known as.
We met Michael in the first book as he was working with Amanda & Syssi in the labs trying to work out what his "superpower" is.
Kri is one of the Guardians and instantly takes a shine to Michael and he's in awe of her when he gets to watch her in action!!
Another great read in the series can't wait for book 7!

I appreciate the authors writing style, but this just felt a bit... predatory. Not even the age difference, although it was mentioned over and over, but they got together in the first place because Kri wanted to swipe him up before anyone else did since he was the only male they aren't related to. It didn't and doesn't feel like love as with the first two. It just feels like convenience and that Kri is taking advantage of him. Just not into this couple.

Aww, the kids are in love!
The pitfalls of non verbal miscommunication are brilliantly illustrated in this sweet short story. Kri & Michael both tie themselves in knots of doubt & insecurity simply through not talking about their issues. I'm guessing that we've all been there, at least I know I have! They are looking at an eternity to get it right, though that sounds like hell to me.

Aww young love...
Even if one of them is already 40. This quick story about crazy and Michael was awesome in the fact that they are both young and cautious about not wanting to be hurt . Not knowing that their caution is the very thing that's causing each other pain. Their future will look bright, if they can get out of each other's way .

Not a Big Fan
I really don’t like Novellas. Just as the story gets going and definitely needs to be developed more, it’s over. Either Kri and Michael are worth writing a book about, or they’re not. I really wish authors wouldn’t waste my time like this. I felt like the author just wanted to write a few sex scenes because there really wasn’t much else to this.

I love love love this series, however I'm really starting to wonder if the author has forgotten how to use contractions. It's not a big thing but it really interrupts the flow of reading, and seriously, people don't speak like that. It happens fairly often starting with this novella and enough to really get under your skin. Otherwise though, wonderful series.

Considering I.T writes 350+ pages per book, and then over 3 bks, this is kinda a rush job, you would think. But, this is more of an adolescent "does he like me, I like him" story.
Except Kri is 47 and Michael is a new immortal just turning 21.
A quick read. I would maybe add an additional 🌟 if you have Kindle Unlimited, and get it "for free".

3.5 stars. I liked this story because it was short, sweet and to the point. No additional content other than their romance which I enjoyed.
I was a bit sad to see that Kri didn't have any of her girly girl moments as it was mentioned in the rest of the series. I think that would have been good but I did like the novella.

With Michael done with the first phase of transition and dosed with extra pheromones, he and Kri resume his college social activities. Those extra pheromones cloud both of their brains and leaves them vulnerable to an attack. Though Michael’s on his way to being an immortal, he’s not one yet and he takes a big hit to his ego as Kri tries to get him back on track.

So Far it has me sleep depraved
So far this series has me sleep depraved that's how good it is and I've only read 6.5 books and there are 20+ in this series I so can not wait a must read.

A great young romance.
This book is great due to the struggles it shows in young romance. I !oved the aspect of the guy not being intimidated by his loves strengths. The story was romantic with humor and sadness for the frustration of new young love.

Book 6.5 - Great!
This evolving story is engrossing and I’m hooked! Fabulous characters, imaginative plot and steamy sex. What more could you ask for? Can’t wait to read the next book. Just awesome. Highly recommended

Great Short Story
I really enjoyed learning about Ki and her insecurities. She was always so tough and when it came to love she was very unsure of being emotional. It was interesting how they eventually managed to keep their own personalities and still be vulnerable.

Love this entire series!!! Amazing and lovable characters, beautifully interwoven and developed as this whole world is revealed. I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to do so for these books!
