The Devil's Dust Boxed Set

Rate this book
All four of the Best selling Devil’s Dust Novels, including two Novellas that were once in anthologies.

What Doesn’t Destroy Us
Shadow has grown up among drug addicts, whores and murderers. The only family he's ever trusted has been the Devil's Dust motorcycle club. He will do anything for a brother; even kill. In fact, killing is so easy, he's made a career of it. His one regret is not being able to kill his own worthless mother. When Dani shows up with her provocative temper and innocent charm, Shadow begins to question his violent lifestyle. But can he trust her with his demons?

The Scars That Define Us
After a breathtaking turn of events, Shadow is looking at life in a different perspective. Not knowing who he can trust or who he can forgive has left him feeling desolate and alone. As Shadow is laying behind his rifle, he wonders if he can pull the trigger to eliminate the threat. He takes a deep breath and squeezes the trigger, the rifles recoil ignites the fuel that drives him.

The Broken Pieces Of Us
The president of the Devil’s Dust MC, Bull, is good at running women off and is even better at pissing off his brothers. When he sees the way his vice-president is treating his ol’ lady, he tries to keep his thoughts to himself. The one thing Bull insists on in his club is respect and loyalty: respect for the patch, respect for your brother, and loyalty to the club. However, after finding Babs in a harsh predicament after a run in with Locks, he can’t help but step in.

Love That Defies Us
With violent murders unfolding around the club, it has thrown town locals into a panic. What they didn't expect was for them to get caught up in the carnage.

The Fear That Divides Us
Road Captain of the Devil’s Dust Motorcycle Club, Bobby has the scars to prove just how dangerous his life is. He gives the world he knows hell and loves every moment of it. Wearing a panty-dropping grin along the way, his fierce life has never been a problem for him, until her. Jessica is the only female who has him distracted in his game. After taking him to bed, she’s the only woman to tell him to take a hike. Waking with her gone, he can’t resist her pull. He’s seen the marks on her body, ones which tell the horrors she’s lived through. He’s also seen the fear in her eyes when she lets herself become weak to his advances. Bobby has a decision to make. Can he help Jessica, or will it mean giving up his carefree life?

The Lies Between Us
Lip is no stranger to the criminal life. Growing up among convicts, he wanted nothing more than to show his worth. He’ll do anything for the club without question, including serving six years in prison. But nobody could have predicted life’s plan. Rugged, tattooed, and wanting nothing more than to have Cherry, Lip is no longer the man whom Cherry remembers. After his release, he came out a beast with more secrets and lies than his cage could hold.

I can’t believe I wasted a credit and 10 hours listening to this ridiculous and repetitive drivel that even Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell’s excellent narration talents failed to elevate to a palatable story. The boxed set is 41 hours in length but I’m cutting my losses. To quote the heroine ‘Geez, I’m pathetic!’ I totally concur! Dani is immature, whiny, and ridiculously naive while Shadow plays emotional roulette with a gigantic chip on his shoulder while pretending to be a tough guy. All of the characters are cheap imitations of a supposedly dangerous MC gang while Shadow has time to spend an entire day playing video games? C’mon! The storytelling is immature, repetitive, and ridiculous while the heroine whines about everything and the “sexy” bad boy acts like a child. Don’t waste your time and a credit on this mess.

The Devil's Dust Boxed Set
M.N. Forgy

Holy Shit I couldn’t pass up this set!!
“The Devil's Dust Boxed Set” is a soul pumping, throttle rush like no other! Which just heightens the thunderous, blazing, rip roaring and sultry storylines. Yes it’s as hot fuck!! Like burn me at that stake and leave me! Then the next moment. Your craving to beat the ever loving life out of character. Then yelling out loud like manic person.
Once you have finished all of the books. Well, you will be grinning like that dang Cheshire cat!
Yes the series is just that spectacular!
Then what do you tell people about the series? Well I couldn’t put the fucker down. M.N. Forgy put me under some kinda spell.

Hmm only read the first two books. just wasnt enough depth for me to continue. just something didnt click for me with the story line and the fmc was just too pathetically immature and stupid to even remotely connect with. the only redeeming factor was the end of book one otherwise no way would i have read book two. but by the end i had had enough. again as with all the mc books so much potential but too superficial. just cos we like biker books doesnt mean we don't expect quality and this was lacking. yet again.

So poorly written that I literally started taking note of all the cliches and simple description this author got wrong. These had me laughing:

“She’ll chew me up and spit on me.”

“‘I can’t get you out of my fucking head.’ I point to my head in explanation.”

It doesn’t get any better. This author specializes in incorrect turns of phrase and overblown teenage angst. The sexy scenes were even terrible. At the end of the scene featuring her loss of virginity, the protagonist calls her own vagina a “wet sleeve.” What the hell?!

Aside from that, the books are written as though the author found out about biker gang lingo and went to town with it. If I had taken a shot for how many times the two main characters talked about “old ladies” (gang members’ significant others): being an old lady, having an old lady, never wanting an old lady, all the other members’ old ladies, conflict among old ladies - I would be dead of alcohol poisoning less than halfway through the first book.

One of the worst series I’ve ever read. It is a study on why developmental editors and line editors are necessary prior to publication. Yikes.

Read the whole set. Laughed when Bobby and Shadow had to choose where Bull shot them. Loved how they all had human faults and vulnerabilities. Hated Dani's mother, and Shadows. Cried for Babs. Each story was individual. Agreed with Locks end. Shocked at what Doc did although I understand. Loved Bobby's sense of humour and the way he and Shadow bantered. None of these characters could be classed as 'good people' but their loyalty to one another is like steel. Unbreakable. I also love that Bull even though he is supposedly the tough no nonsense president has his own flaws and had hoped he would end up with Babs. But MN Forgy had other ideas for him and that turned out to awesome. Anyone who doesn't finish this series is seriously missing out. The only reason I gave four stars is for the missing words here and there. Maybe it happens in the upload.

Great box set

Wow!! M.N. Forgy doesn't just put words down on a page she really does a story good. Wow! What powerful words she writes. I was hooked from the first page. Come take a ride with the Devil's Dust MC. The crazy and messed up things this group goes through. From Shadow and Dani to Bobby and Doc then to Lip and Cherry on to Anahi and Bull. The ups and downs these couples go on. Have some tissues for some pages and don't forget to pack your gun. You ate in for a wild ride with these ladies and men. You will not be disappointed with this box set.

Why?

Shadow and Dani. All I'll say is why? Everyone, and I mean everyone cheated on that girl yet she allowed it to happen each time and forgave them all.
Shadow was such a douch. He couldn't keep it in his pants at all. Why she would want a relationship with him in the end was beyond me. I just gave up caring what was happening.
Because of that couple I didnt bother reading anything else. I didn't want to waste my time on anything else that could have been similar.
What a waste of time.

I flew through the first book. Other than that I lost interest in the series. I read the second book because everyone loved the mom of the MC. Once I finished, my attention was no longer held and so I moved on to other books. I expected more violence in a series based around a MC. The love story and romance was fine, the writing was perfect and the storytelling were great but it just didn't seem to make me want to read more.

Got better as I kept going

The writing in the first 2 books was not very good. Didn't fit with a motorcycle club. Too proper. But I got invested in the characters enough to keep reading and the writing definitely improved. I listened to the audio along with reading because of Joe & Maxine. Their performances also got better as the books went on, maybe because of the writing as well.

I loved how each story lead to the next. The author did a great job connecting all the issues. Bulls story was my favorite. He was portrayed as a hard nosed biker that led his group and only showed his heart sparingly. The final story revealed all theblove and pain he held inside. His devotion to A developed quickly five events of his past. overall the guys found women that suited them well. The author portrayed each story as an individual book while tying them together

I queued this up on Audible for a long drive. I didn’t expect much from it because it was free but it was PERFECT.

I’ve never considered my self a fan of biker gangs and I certainly wouldn’t want to wear a biker vest or be called an “old lady” but I fell in love with these bikers and their “old ladies” as they traversed ups and downs, love and loss, fun and strife.

This series kinda makes this educated, Lexus driving, stuck up woman want to be on the back of a Harley. It’s full of suspense, rough romance and sex. I literally could not stop reading this series!! Can’t wait to delve into the next MC series...

Book 1-2
Interesting plot, but extremely immature and unlikeable main characters. Both in serious need of therapy...

Bobby is the only sane one. And Hawk was hilarious. The only likeable ones.

I'll stop reading for now. Maybe will continue later. Maybe not.
