The return of Aaron and Nicci around 10 years later, they are currently living in Australia.
This story is darker than the first and and also revolves around two other main characters, Travis the cop and Courtney the victim. Courtney was held as a sexual prisoner for months by the two men, until she overheard a murder plot. She was beaten and left for dead. Unaware of her survival and her exposure of the crime, a trap is being laid. Travis meanwhile is protecting and falling for her.
This is their journey of love and survival and it's not all smooth sailing. People will die, will it be the bad guys? Or will there be heartbreak.
Great story line and intriguing characters, I enjoyed it immensely.
