I wanted to give this author a shot because I read she is Lynda Chance's sister. I was hoping to get a OTT alpha like we've come to rely on with her. Sadly, that was not the case.

This story was often boring. It had a slow start. There was one sex with that lacked a lot of steam at around 85%. They didn't become an actual couple until the last page.....with NO EPILOGUE!

~heroine that pushed hero away almost the entire book
~not very steamy
~no cheating
~no violence
~OW drama - none
~OM drama - her ex husband who deserted her and her son showed up and wanted her back. She wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. He was sent on his way
~3 points of view - hero, heroine and heroine's son
~No epilogue whatsoever

I very much liked this story. I think it was a bit of a slow start, but once it got going..... I loved it!
I loved the chemistry between the divorced Leslie and Marco the cowboy/psychologist. An entertaining and enjoyable read. (I will go back to read books 1 and 2).
(Incidentally, Leslie is a man's name in UK usually, the ladies are Lesley - just thought you may like to know) 4☆

I love this series. Nothing like romantic Italian ranchers.
I would love to see more books in this series. There are a lot of characters to find the love of their life.
