A thoroughly enjoyable work. Wielenga was clearly well-versed in Dutch Reformed church history because he draws on countless episodes from Dutch Reformed synods to demonstrate the "authorial intent" of the baptism form. The editorial footnotes are helpful additions to the work. Kudos to the translator and the publish house for this book.
