Fragile, the third book in the Battling Demons series, is as much about facing the uncertainties of the future as it is about dealing with the demons of the past. A horrific accident has thrown Dr. Martin Ellingham’s life into turmoil and stripped him of the emotional barriers that he had spent a lifetime erecting and fortifying. He has been left a physically fractured and emotionally fragile man. The Ellingham family is brought back together under one roof as Martin struggles to reclaim some sense of control and a semblance of normal life.
If you love the television show Doc Martin, then you won’t want to miss this wonderful series of books Battling Demons by gifted writer Kris Morris. Kris delves much deeper into the everyday lives of Doctor Martin Ellingham, his wife Louisa and their relationship with each other as well as with the quirky inhabitants of Portwenn. Kris captures the essence of these characters we have grown to love and brings them to life! You can visualize each character in her books speaking the dialogue with the exact intonations and facial expressions they possess on the show. I have been moved to tears on more than one occasion! Kris has devoted her time, gifts and talents to HorseCourse, a children’s charity in Dorset, England, where all proceeds from the sale of these books go to this charity. I have purchased all 8 volumes through Amazon.com where I’m a Prime member and can get them in just 2 days & free shipping upon ordering. I have read all 8 books of this wonderful series finishing her most recent titled “Interactions”. I couldn’t put it down! You won’t be sorry, trust me! And who can turn down such a worthy charity? Enjoy and tell me what you think!! Check out Kris’ website: https://sites.google.com/view/battlin...
Author did her research or is a medical professional. Clothes stuck in fixators! Poor Louisa and Martin. I still find Martin is talking more in this series than he should, and I miss the funny villagers. Still, this is one way the story might have gone . . .
Great Book. I order them through Amazon for my Kindle Fire and as soon as I finish one, I order the next. I'm on my 4th and hope Kris keeps them coming. Wish her books were made into movies.
